Maia I know that I've totally missed July and it was been a very hot month, as is often the case with July, but it's August now and the weather forecast predicts a brief cool down after the after the storm passes tomorrow, for this reason I am calling together another training session two night's after on August 6th at 10pm. The training session will consist of sparring much like the first session though it will be one pair against another. For the purposes of the training session, knight weapons and senshi magic (unless dangerous/deadly) will be encouraged. The session will be be held at the abandoned army base on the outskirts of the city. A map to the base is attacked to this text, I hope to see you there. Shang July has flown by and it was been a very hot month, as is often the case with July, but its August now and the weather forecast predicts a brief cool down after the after the storm passes tomorrow, for this reason Maia is calling together another training session two night's after on August 6th at 10pm. The training session will consist of sparring much like the first session though it will be one pair against another. For the purposes of the training session, knight weapons and senshi magic (unless dangerous/deadly) will be encouraged. The session will be be held at the abandoned army base on the outskirts of the city. A map to the base is attacked to this letter, we hope to see you there. Maia and Shang stood in the grass on the abandon army base having fully checked the area to make sure now one was around. Maia gave a nod to Sheena who went to the broke space in the chain fence that surrounded the area. It was obvious no one came around very often, but Maia would rather be safe that sorry. She wanted the training session to go over well and it was the first time they would be outside, but it was cool, about 75 degrees and she brought cans of bug spray and a cooler of drinks this time around so she hoped everyone wouldn't mind.
Shang looked to his sister, "do you think there will be as many people as last time?"
Maia turned and shook her head, "I doubt it, since its Wedsnesday. But this will be the coolest day this week so I think its a good time. But it there are that many people, at least we have plenty of space."
Shang nodded and looked toward the gate. It wasn't ten yet, so no one was there, but he knew people would be arriving soon.Direction Location: An army base on the outskirts of Destiny City. It is abandoned, and most of the building have been torn down leaving barren plots of land where the building once were. The area is completely fenced in though the fences has several unfixed gaps from people intruding over the years. While the property is private, it is obvious that it is unattended and the perfect spot for a training session. Style: This will be held like the first with sparring session only the use of magic and weapons will be allowed within reason (reason being not deadly). As always it will start of meet and greet style with names tags being handed out. The rule will stand as, no attempts to seriously maim or injure in any manner. The pairs will consist of generally a senshi and a knight, but if the numbers aren't even enough, senshi and senshi or knight and knight pairings may occur. I will try to keep age in mind this time around to keep players and player characters comfortable, but I will be pairing you off as I did the first time. In the spar, five hits will be a win and the groups will decide on a winner for the spar. Participants Kaori_luv: Sailor Maia, Squire Shangri-la, Squire Pharos StarshineAngel01: Squire Lassell Fiction1119: Page Pompeii Orangeish Sherbert: Sailor Tortali Merurulince: Sailor Deneb, Sailor Minkowski Bluefire Dragonz: Sailor Ida Iris_virus: Chibi Sailor Florentina litian: Page Falias elza magica: Sailor Medea Shanyume: Sailor Sìdòuèr ChibiGingi: Sailor Tsui bunnyilove: Euphrosyne, Pippin Cooro Cooro: Avior Silent Spy: Troy

Lassell, muttered to himself he stretched, at the same time he wanted to use his upgraded outfit for once. Summer had been hot so far but he was relieved to hear that it would cool down. He hadn't shown anyone his new outfit change and he was eager to test his magic out. Not that he knew how it worked since well he hadn't had to use it yet.
He ran his hands through his hair and looked around to see who else was around. He noticed Shang and Maia, the two people he spent the majority of summer with since he was staying with them for the summer. He wondered what people he had met would think of his new outfit. He waved to Maia and Shang "Hey guys!" he said

Pompeii hoped she wasn't late. It took longer to get the shop situated then she had liked but she thought she had made pretty good time making it to the training space this time. Army Base, hun. As she stopped at the chain link fence she wondered just why this base was here and if it was really a good idea to practice in it. Not only was it illegal since it was still US property, unless they sold the land to the city, but the ground could not be even and there had to be hidden holes or other things to fall into.
When she realised that she was looking for excuses to go home she squared her shoulders and ducked into the restricted area. The grass was long and in need of a bush-hog. It didn't seem like there were any neighbors to care what was going to happen and she could barley make out three figures in the distance. Pompeii picked her way over carefully only stumbling once or twice. She sighed in relief when she reached the cleared ground that the others were standing on. She smiled in greeting and started to walk over when she stumbled over a crack in the old cement pad. After a moment of balancing precariously Pompeii caught herself. She flashed a cheeky grin at Shang before quipping, "Ha no ground tasting for me tonight."

She hadn’t been to one of these yet. Despite her promising Maia that she would be part of her team thing…Tortali hadn’t come to any of the training sessions that she had been offering. She wasn’t exactly sure why she had been skipping them so easily…perhaps she was just wary of showing everyone else just how weak she still was at all of this. Or maybe she just wasn’t sure how much training would be done. Or maybe…
Maybe she was just getting lazy. Or hardheaded. Why should she bother with training sessions when she had real world experience with almost dying to fall back on?
Well. All of her past mistakes aside, Tortali was showing up for this session, and show up she did. She kind of liked the fact that training was going to be in an old army base…it made it seem a lot more real. More fun.
More like they were really just preparing themselves for inevitable war that was upon them.
When Tortali entered the base, she looked around. Okay. There was Maia…but that was the only face she knew. Oh jeeze. She should have asked Aventine or someone to come with her for this. How embarrassing. She didn’t like meeting a whole horde of people all at once…especially when they all already seemed to know one another.
Why hadn’t she come to one of these sooner?
Well. Time to awkwardly stand against the wall and hope for the best.

Again?
Deneb hadn't been a very big fan of the first training session she had been to, which had ultimately ended in her being harassed by a couple of Guardian Cats who wanted to play, but no matter what she did, she couldn't seem to figure out how to block these messages from coming. Deneb had almost sent a nasty reply about how they should stop bothering her, but she had noticed that there had been a mention about senshi magic being allowed. Okay, then. Fine, whatever, Deneb was embarassed by her lame attack, but it was better than playing dodgeball or something equally as silly.
She had her pride, after all.
Thankfully, there wasn't any events going on in any of her mmorpgs, and she had managed to finish most of the work on her current cosplay, so, for once, Deneb could tear herself away from the computer or the sewing machine long enough to humor everyone.
She even brought a 'friend' this time, one hapless Sailor Minkowski, who was feeling slightly bewildered at all of this.

Maia grinned feeling the power signatures drawing nearer, new and familiar. She was very happy to see other coming just like the last time. She was also rather pleased that her direction were well enough. This base was rather out of the way.
She grinned when the first person came through the fence and it was Lassell, but her smile faultered taking on a bewildered look as her boyfriends, outfit had clearly changed. He was a squire ... her mind was going a million miles a minute question popping up left and right most not making it out of her mouth.
"What, when did that happen," was what finally made it across her lips, as opposed to Shang who waved and offered Lassell congratulations.
Shang waved Lassell over and handed him a nametag and a sharpie, as was becoming accustomed at these little gatherings. "Maia's got bug spray for everyone too, its sitting onto of the cooler over there," he pointed, "its got cold drink inside it, if you want one."
He then turned to see Pompeii coming in and nudged his sister before going to catch a stumbling Pompeii only to find that she didn't fall at all. "That's good to see, but this is sparring tonight, so don't count your chickens" he said with a nod, before he looked to Maia once more, "the teams gathering."
Maia nodded her frown turning into a small smile, it was very nice to see that the four of them had made it. She did however wonder if Tortali would show, she wanted to introduce the girl to the others. She couldn't help, but to beam when that was exactly who came through next.
"Tortali," she called out waving the girl over to the group wanting to introduce her. She was sure she had mentioned the girl joining the group, but she had yet to be able to introduce any of the other's to her yet.
"Come meet the team dearie. We're all here tonight," she said with a smile.
After Tortali two more senshi came through the gate and Shang was the one to greet them with a warm smile and a wave for them to make there way over to the group. He had nametags and sharpies in hand ready to hand them to whoever walked through the fence.

Lassell, approached Maia and grinned at her reaction and gave her a discrete wink "Why do you look so shocked?" he asked her. Before answering her question"Just recently actually" he said spinning and then looking at his girlfriend "what do you think?" he asked her.
He took the nametag and Sharpie from Shang "ah..thank you" he said before writing his name down on it and then looking over at the cooler "Well, she was well prepared. Not that any bugs would attack me" he put in before waving to Pompeii.

Deneb took the nametags and sharpies from Shang, writing down her own name on one and Minkowski's on another. Apparently, she didn't trust the petite senshi of butterflies to write her own name down- maybe it was the accent she spoke with? Or maybe it was the deer in headlights look Minkowski still had on her face; she only patrolled every now and then, and while she had met Maia once before, she hadn't planned on attending the training session; she was a healer, not a fighter, after all. --
Of course, that was before Deneb came across her, and more or less dragged her to the abandoned army base. They had never met before tonight, but Deneb was apparently determined to drag Minkowski down with her, it seemed.
Taking her name badge from the intimidating senshi of bubbles, Minkowski gave a weak wave to Maia, before affixing it to her fuku.
... Hopefully someone could bail her out of this and let her go free before Deneb got anymore ideas.

Ida was used to being one of the first to arrive at these things, but it seemed like there was a good group waiting by the time she finally slipped through the fence. The reason for her lateness was probably the little girl with salmon hair that she held the hand of, looking like a pair of sisters if it weren't for their coloring.
Lifting an arm, Ida grinned as she waved at the assembled group, finding that only a couple of them she didn't recognize. She sort of wondered if any of her close friends would show up today, but if they didn't she still had a new Chibi to take care of and new people to meet. And training to do, of course. She felt confident in her abilities thus far, but there was always room for improvement and progress.
"Maia! Shang! Hello!" She called as she walked to them through the grass.

Traveling around late at night was not something that Florentina was very accustom too yet. Though that would likely change with time. As such it wasn't only her tiny legs slowing Ida down as they made their way, but also her wandering eyes as she peered around in a mixture of curiousity and fear. Would one of those big scary monsters come and try to get them? If they did Ida would protect her she knew that, but it didn't mean she wouldn't keep her eyes out!
It was her first time approaching a group of allies, and though she wouldn't realize that what she was feeling was all of the different 'auras' a feeling of warmth soothed her. It felt nice and happy, and her worries about the training started to fade, taken over by her curiousity and desire to learn.
"Look at all their costumes!!" The little chibi of lilies cooed in soft awe. There were so many colors and everyone looked so fancy and pretty Admiring all the 'costumes' Florentina let herself be led by Ida who she was firmly attached to by her own choice. As they neared a couple people, friends of Ida she guessed, she offered a cheerful greeting while still smooshing herself shyly up against Ida's side. "Hello"

Falias hadn't been sure whether or not to attend when he'd received the note about another training session.
In fact fact he'd mused on it throughout the day while running the shop as his civilian counterpart, but he'd still found himself heading towards location that had been attached to the letter once he'd shut up shop for the day and found somewhere safe to power up.
He hadn't been the first person there, there had been others at the abandoned army base that seemed to be the location this time round, he even thought he recognised some from last time round.

Medea felt sooo new: Shiny, squeaky, still-checking-out-her-sparkly-clothes-in-her-reflection, unable-to-detect-Senshi-even-though-they-surrounded-her-all-the-time new. She felt 99% sure she wouldn't win a single match, but at least she could learn! Maybe she would even find another mentor! Time would tell.
She glanced at the others. What a variety of Senshi! All of them represented potential relationships--it almost felt overwhelming.
Hopefully she wouldn't fail super badly and embarrass herself before future allies.

The Tiger had heard whispers about a training session that went on in the past, and Eternal Sailor Tsui could only wonder how it was possible that she hadn't heard about them, nor why she never went. As an Eternal, she felt as though it was her responsibility to assist her fellow Senshi and Knights, and while she may not have been a great strategist (that's what Sutai was for, after all), she certainly felt as thought she knew a thing or two about fighting. So this time, when she heard the faintest of whispers about another meeting, she knew one thing and one thing only. She was there. It was easy to find the location, and she certainly did approve of it. It was big, spacious, a tad bit on the creepy side as far as abandoned buildings went, but what better place to holding a training session than an old place that probably held training sessions of their own? Genius! She kept her senses on alert, remembering all too well what had happened one time so many of them had arrived, but this time, she was prepared. If things went awry, she'd do whatever she could to protect the rest, and that only made her resolve to train even harder. Her gaze caught a familiar face, and she approached Ida without a second's hesitation, her voice loud and boisterous. "Ida, so, this is where you've been going to toughen up? I better watch out, or you're going to catch up to me one day." Not that she didn't want her to. She was happy to see her friend working so hard and doing so well. "So, don't go easy on me, okay? I want to see you do your best."

Pharos bounced in all her tiny glory around Sìdòuèr talking excitedly and showing her the note she had gotten from Shangri-la. Though she barely knew the new senshi she figured all new people could use a bit of training so she was dragging the girl along.
"You're going to like it. I had a good time, the last time I got to come. You will meet a lot of people and you will get a little fighting experience in. But most of all you will make some allies, like Maia and Shang."
She continued and bounce about like the energizer bunny right up until the reached the fence and went through motioning for Sìdòuèr to follow. She took off at a run right for the little group waving.
"Hi guys, I brought a friend this time," she said motioning to the new senshi.

Oh he hoped that he wasn't late to this training like he was the last time. Two time in a row would be against his code. He ran as fast as his little leg could carry him. He was not going to be late, not this time. He saw the group and quickly made his way in, huffing and puffing. Geeze, he forgot how fast he could run but at least he wasn't late this time.
Euphrosyne smiled and looked around to see if there was any faces he remembered and he caught sight of Ms. Maia! She was the one that saved him from the girl who bit him the last time. He smiled and lightly waved at her to see if she would remember his face. He looked around again to spot anyone else and caught sight of the girl he help saved from the youma. It didn't quite remember her name. What did the kitty say was her name was?....Oh right Deneb but he was going to keep away from her because she seem less then happy to talk to him the last time so he was going to keep his distance. So he was going to talk to Ms. Maia and that was it. "Ms. Maia! Do you remember me! It's my Chibi sailor Euphrosyne! I came to your training session last time! I think I've gotten better! I've had a lot more training from the last time! I promise!" he said with a light giggle.
