History: When Kelani was born she already had two older siblings, Lavric and Lacevi. They where not upset to have another sibling, in fact they where thrilled. Seven year old Lavric enjoyed the idea of having another sister to look out for, three year old Lacevi wanted another playmate. As a baby one of them was always at her side, trying to get her to speak or interact with them. At six months old they began to get a little bored. At one year old they where just plain tired with how long it was taking her to develop. By the time she was a year an a half they had pretty much lost interest with her. It remained like this until she was three years old and Lacevi was six. By then she was able to interact and play, drawing the sisters closer together. They rapidly became rather close friends.
When she was three years old another sibling was born, a girl named Kenniva. While Lacevi was excited Kelani payed it no mind. As Kenniva grew it became apparent that she was a rather intelligent child. On an intellectual scale she developed at what seemed like roughly twice the rate that she had. By the time they where respectively aged six and three it was expected that soon enough the younger girl would exceed her older sibling intelligence wise. This idea slightly upset her, but she payed it no mind. At only six years old she hadn't really thought of the prospect of her being out shined. So far none of her siblings had shown any sign of being better than her, she figured there was nothing to worry about. This changed when she was nine years old. While she was learning more every day Kenniva was yet to exceed her in that category. However, while she was busy watching her younger sibling the now sixteen year old Lavric took her by surprise.
A searchrider came to their home one day, looking for candidates for an upcoming hatching. It did not take long for him to choose her older brother and take him away to Malvren Weyr. Word soon came that he had managed to impress a blue. While it was certainly not the highest ranking dragon that did not dampen their pride in him. They talked about their weyrling son as much as they could, proudly placing him on a higher pedestal than his siblings. This annoyed Kelani to no end, but not enough to really damage her. For two years she managed to live with it, that was when the next blow was struck. Kenniva, the girl that she had worried so much about before, was starting to shine with her full potential. At eight years old she watched her older sister in her learning, only to end up answering several questions that the eleven year old could not answer. After this the girls parents began to boost the youngest childs teachings, watching her soar. All this time Lacevi stood by Kelani, remaining her partner in the average. This changed when a Smithcrafter stopped by in their hold to work on a project, only for Lacevi to become his helper. At the end of his visit Lacevi went back to the crafthall with him as an apprentice. Letters said that she was doing great and had the potential to be a master one day.
With all of her siblings becoming something more than average while she remained normal Kelani began to feel left out and betray. This was only enhanced by her parents, who made it clear that they where disappointed in her. When a holder died and its pregnant canine escaped and went feral she tried to use this as a chance to prove herself as someone special, maybe a future beastcrafter. She went out and attempted to find this canine, succeeding out of sure luck after a while. The canine had bore three pups, innocent newborns. The mother did not react well to a strange human approaching her pups and proceeded to attack. She bit in to the girls knee, she was saved before to much damage could be done from someone hearing her screaming and coming to her rescue. The dog was killed and the pups given to another recently-pupped canine to nurse. While she was promised a pup when they where old enough for her efforts her attempt at heroics did not have the results she had hoped they would. People began to view her as an idiot to attempt such things, a fool. In an attempt to gain attention she fell in to the role, playing up to their expectations. It was not positive attention, but she was now no longer just the average one, the other one. Her parents began to look down on her even more once she started this, beginning to avoid her all together. She continued this facade until she turned sixteen turns old, when a searchrider from Malvren Weyr came. When offered the chance to go to the weyr as a candidate she pounced, happy to get away from the hold as her siblings had done.
And soon after she arrived? BAM! Revolution. Deciding to go with the flow she became a wher candidate, and impressed to green Kelsk not long after. Her airhead of a green that she had very little control over. Training was a long and tedious thing that she graduated from a little late. But finally, finally, she made it out. Since then she has been minding her own business, taking care of Kelsk, and hoping that nothing explodes.
Description: Kelani is a girl of rather average size. She stands about five foot three, has a small frame, and weighs roughly 123 pounds. There is not very much muscle on her body, in fact she is rather sthin. Due to this she does not have very much sheer strength. However, she does have a decent level of stamina and high pain tolerance. The skin covering her body is a lighter shade of white, pale from her not spending to much time outside. It has very few marks and blemishes on it. Most are just tiny splotches, a scar left from a pimple or a mark from where she scratched an itch to hard. However, there is one prominent mark. On her left knee there is a old three inch long red scar. It is a bite mark received from a canine that never healed properly.
The shape of her skull is slightly angular, subtitle instead of sharp. Her eyes are rather large and wide in build. They are a dark brown in color. Eyelashes are not exactly a prominent attractive feature on her as they are rather thin, short, and light in color. The same goes for her rather thin and arched eyebrows. A sign of her lineage resides in her hair. For generations her mothers side of the family has had light red hair. Kelani is the same in this way, her hair being a slightly darker shade of strawberry blonde. It is long and often styled in to a braid. When she leaves it down it tends to get tangled rather rapidly due to her forgetting to comb it.
Personality: Kelani has firmly fallen in to a role in her life. The fool, the jester, the performer. She never seems to take anything seriously, always making a joke out of it. Due to this people tend to not take her seriously. While she always seems to have time to mess around when it comes to anything else she is down right lazy. Even when something important comes around she always seems to put it off, procrastinating as much as possible. Despite her paying attention to things it always seems like she can't really understand them. Not exactly a half-wit, but not by any means smart. While she will flirt with men to extreme extents it is clear that she is not interested in romance and will not necessarily go to bed with them. In fact despite her flirtations there are no records of her actually sleeping with someone, her game is that of a tease.
There is something that is not known about her the the general public. It is all an act. While she is not the smartest girl around she is not by any means an idiot. When someone explains something to her she can normally catch on with relative speed and ease. The laziness is true, but not to quite the extent as she pretends it is. The sheer amount of flirting she does makes her cringe inside. While she is not a complete celibate the idea of flirting just for the sake of it puts her off. She craves romance deep down. A long drawn-out relationship that grows over time, complete with silly love letters and all those tender moments. Deep down she wishes she could just shed the act and know that all would be fine.
This bides the question, why does she put on such a show. The answer is hidden in deep psychological trauma from her childhood. While she is not as idiotic and foolish as she puts on she is not exactly anything incredibly special. She is good with her voice and instruments but not as good as others. It is true that she is not as stupid as she pretends, but she is nowhere close to a genius. As far as she is concerned she is completely average, and average gets you nowhere, allows you to just fade in to the background. Kelani believes that she will never be able to be above average in anything, but she can try her best to be below average, to be a fool. While it might not get you to far in life it will get you plenty of attention. It might be negative attention, but its better than fading in to the background and being forgotten.

Description: Kelsk has the strong, powerful build whers are known for, no dainty greens here. She is a rather large green wher, mammoth green.
Markings not only appear on Kelsk but are prominent, absolutely possible to miss. Her head, feet, lower legs, and tail are all a deep shade of green. Her body on the other hand is a light minty green in color. But it isn't solid color either, it is actually a bunch of minty-green speckles clumped close together, giving the effect of a solid patch. This can normally only be noticed when you look very closely, otherwise she just looks like a light green wher with darker points. At certain points she has a thinner layer of speckles, allowing some of the darker coloration underneath to shine through.

Personality: Kelsk lives to interact with others. Whenever she can she is dragging her handler off to talk to someone, get to know people, and talk to her about everyone at the wherhold. At times she can be quite the gossip, telling everyone absolutely everything she hears about. The idea of spreading rumors being bad has not yet occurred to her. After all, who wouldn't like being talked about? Kelsk can be rather flirty, constantly playing with anyone and everyone. She wants her handler to be like this as well, hanging back like that just won't get her anywhere. So she will forcibly drag Kelani in to encounters with other people, a area where her persistence shows strongly. She's a determined little wher, there's almost no stopping her when she gets an idea into her head. Sometimes she can be obnoxious and she knows it. She likes to get under people's skin, it's rather fun to her. This is not a way that she intends to be mean, it's just fun for her.
