This is a Kindness RP for Blue and Honesty RP for Malt
Malt was ecstatic! Strapped around his neck was a large tumbler of ice-cold chocolate milk and in the satchel on his back was a large packet of chocolate chip cookies. North had told the foal to “go out and play” for a bit while he had somephony fix the broken kitchen oven.
“Soon I shall be able to make cookies again,” said Malt with a small nicker. “And be able to give them to other ponies!”
“Yes, indeed,” chuckled the Big Brother pony. “Now off you go scamp. A bit of sunlight and fresh air will do wonders for a young foal,”
“Can I pack a lunch bag to take with me?” asked Malt excitedly. “It’ll be an adventure!”
“Sure, why not? Make a little extra. Then you can share it with other ponies at the park,”
“Alright!” whinnied Malt happily.
Thus arriving at one of the many parks located in Phonyland, Malt quickly set down the condensation coated tumbler on the nearest picnic table. That was before he realized that someone had left some papers on it.
“Oh no!” said Malt as he quickly lifted the tumbler. But it was too late. On several pieces of paper were watermarks caused by the wet tumbler.

Blue had been kicked out of the house for awhile to 'get some fresh air'. Which was his Big Daddy's way of saying he needed to sleep and Blue's constant big band music was keeping him awake. But Blue felt the music in his heart and couldn't stop his creative juices from flowing, so he headed for the park were he'd have plenty of room to dance and perhaps have a little audience while he played.
He had left his music on the table, his guitar on the bench; a stray gust of wind had mussed his hair and the fashion conscious colt had bolted for the nearest bathroom to make sure his locks were looking perfect again. Combed back and well styled the blue colt trotted back to his picnic table to find a brown colt looking down at some wet paper. Apparently he had set a wet container on it and the water had dripped all over it. Poor guy. But wait....that was his table.
"My babies!" he ran over and looked down at the ruined sheet music. "My sweet little babies!" He held the music to his chest, "Oh man, this is enough to make a guy sing the blues!"

“I-I’m sorry!” cried Malt in dismay; his tiny wings fluttering with agitation. “I didn’t mean to! Honest I didn’t!” Malt had never seen blue foal before but the dismay on the colt’s face was apparent. Those papers were important to him and he had ruined them! “I was careless...,” said Malt, trying his best to stay calm. North had always said that you had nothing to fear if you told the truth but Malt was certain North had never been in such a situation as this. “I just plunked my drink onto the table without looking and when I realized what happened...,” Big eyes stared timidly at Blue. “I’m really sorry!” exclaimed Malt. “C-Can I do anything to help make things right? I have chocolate milk and cookies!”

Blue was rather upset about the sudden loss of his music, the ink smeared from the water and bleeding through the other pages. It was completely ruined. But....but the other colt hadn't meant to ruin his stuff, and he had left his music unattended; anyone could have come along and messed something up, taken his sheets, or even thrown them away.
His orange eyes looked over at the fluttering Pegasus colt, who looked genuinely upset and felt some of his anger dance away. And he was honest about what he had done, he could have just run off and Blue would be standing there holding his ruined music with a heavy heart. "I...I understand man, it's cool. I mean ya didn't mean ta get'em wet."
He ran a comb through his hair again, making sure his sudden emotional outburst hadn't musted his do. Then the colt offered up some refreshments in exchange for his destruction, and it sounded tasty. And...made him start to think of a new song, about spilled milk and musical blues. "Sure, little daddy. Lets break out the cool dairy and smooth cocoa, I think I just got inspired!" He smiled and grabbed some blank music sheets and began writing. "What's your name, man? People call me Blue."

“I’m Malt...errr...Chocolate Malt!” said the brown foal looking relieved that peace could be made with Blue. Initially, he was afraid that Blue would not forgive him for his blunder but it turned out that he was wrong. Blue was a kind pony (despite his accent) and seemed like a pretty good friend-in-the-making. North was right. It pays to tell the truth. “Here you go, “said Malt when the table had finally been set. “Tell me what you think. I made the chocolate milk and cookies myself,” The foal couldn’t help it if he sounded a little proud of himself there. Most phonies he knew loved his cookies. “You should come over to my place once the oven has been fixed,” said Malt with an excited flap of his wings. “Let me make you wax lyrical about chocolate then!”

Blue smiled at the colt as he broke out the goods and spread his chocolatey goodness. He could already see hid new song forming about the spilled milk of life's disappointments sweetened by loves smooth chocolate. Aw yeah this was gonna br good. "Hey Malt daddy it's all good! This sweet treat has inspired my new song "Life's Chocolate Dreams". I'll play it for ya some time. But now lets feed our hungry bellies then I'll feed our hungry souls!" He munched down on their snacks, he told his Pegasus friend all about his idea for he rocking new song.

Malt munched on a cookie as he listened to Blue's idea. The brown foal did not share Blue's gift of music but he could understand the other's passion. In a way, it was very like his own love for anything chocolate.
And North was right. It pays to tell the truth. Not only did he make a new friend but it seems like there were be many happy days of singing and chocolates ahead!
