Getting over the dizziness Nyru looked down to Claudia and offered her a hand as he pulled her up. 'I'm fine...' he said, trying not to let the contents of his stomach see the daylight. 'Where are we?' he then asked her. But the man replied for her, saying 'Shard... City...'. Great, now they were dead in the center of the Shard, in northern Occulas. 'You have... one hour to.... replenishhh... yourself.' then figure then eerily walked up the steps with his long green, tattered cloak following swift behind him until he vanished it he great building before them, behind it the grand Shard Tower.

Nyru stod more comfortably and finally took off his helmet, releasing his lush dark hair as his sapphire blue eyes stared out to see his surroundings better. 'I find it hard to believe that an Inn would exist in a city like this..' he said, keeping one hand steady on his stomach. 'but im starting to feel better..' he then added. Then an odd, very old croaky voice said 'hmmm' from beside the two, a few feet away. Nyru carefully stared round his shoulder to find an old man, leaning on a staff with pale blue robes, holding scrolls and a large book. 'Ah... the conclave... so it is true' he said. 'The circle asked if i would be able to tend to you for a while'. He had a long white bear, thinning white and grey hair and was obviously of quite an age. But he seemed like quite the knowledgeable scholar. Judging by his items.

The old man was not like he was used to, and Nyru didn't enjoy being approached by all these random people from the Circle. When Claudia grabbed onto his arm he tried to hide his sudden expression of surprise and manliness. Looking up to the man again he asked simply 'What is it that the Circle wants you to tend to us with, exactly..'. The old man then seemed to grumble in thought before releasing a little chuckle. 'Why, to give you want you need to feel more at home in our wonderful city of coarse! '
'Who said we need anything?' he asked, not too scornfully but out of better judgement. 'Why, you don't know who i am do you?' creaked the old man. Nyru gave him an odd look before the old wrinkly gave another chuckle.

'My name, dear sir, is Horad Caiin. '

Nyru couldn't help but sigh in frustration, not knowing what to do. He was in an alien world to himself and Claudia and didn't want to do anything to get themselves into some horrid mess they couldn't get out of. 'fine' Nyru stated, he wasn't happy about it but agreed to follow him where ever. He didn't put an arm around Claudia or comfort her more, he knew she felt comforted enough as she were... and she knew that he wasn't always one to do so either. But it didn't mean he didn't care. He was just always alert.

'Very well' croaked Caiine. 'We shall go to my coast-side home, it is just 5 minutes from here. I'll have refreshments... and..' he paused to mumble for a second, freckles and wrinkles on his forehead giving expression to his thought process. 'no need to feel... apprehensive. I probably know more about you than any other soul in the land. And quite frankly i don't blame your queen for doing what she did, hiding and all' he said, turning his back to them as he began walking towards his arm, old wooden staff in hand to keep his crooked back up right.

As they began to follow Caiine, he put is arm around Claudia and they followed a few steps behind the entire way. They wer enearing the coast and the smells of salt and fresh air entered his lungs. It was brighter out here too, more sunlight came in where as deeper in the city there great buildings blocked it off. Angling his head at her he said 'hm?' before realising what she asked. He exhaled softly before a breeze brushed his hair from his face. 'Im not sure' he said almost optimistically looking into the sky ahead of him. 'i dont like being outside the walls of what i've planned... but we're within the best group of shadowmancers the conclave has, so i don't see how anything bad could happen to us. I just want to udnerstand everything, and not be thrown around all the time like we have...'

Horad then stopped at a small building, overlooking the water, and said 'Please, stay a while and listen' gesturing inside his old home. And then a large crack of thunder roared as lightning hit one of the towers int eh distance deeper in the city. 'oh, never mind that' he said, as Nyru shot his gaze up at the towers sharp tip. 'The weathermancers are just preparing for the night ahead, nothing a good storm can't control' he mumbled whilst almost chuckling.

Stepping into the age-old home, examples of past adventures, forgotten stories and treasure troves galore spread themselves along shelves, tables and bookcases around the various rooms of the old Caiine's home. Nyru had to admit, his eyes couldn't take it all in at first glance, staring around for a few seconds whilst Horad walked past a few times rearranging some items. There was a two-seater free for Nyru and Claudia, whilst Horad sat in an old arm chair, staff in one hand.

'So' he croaked' as Nyru took a seat with Claudia, awkwardly on the chair. 'I suppose... i shall start by explaining everything thus far'

The night sky was beginning to draw in, and with it came the shadows that the conclave adored so much. But with it... so did the Underworld, but further more the worry and fear was from the arriving Scarred forces sure to come lurking in the shadows too. It was cunning, attack by night when no one is watching. Though Nyru did wonder how the Scarred forced would get from Bloodholme to the west of Occulas without even being noticed...

Taking route up the staircase and into the large, cream marble room he made sure Claudia was by his side. As they walked in to the center of the room, all the council members walked towards them from the walls themselves. It was creepy how these... beings hid anywhere and everywhere that they could control. One of them tilted its hood very slightly after they had all stopped around the two shadowmancers. 'The night begins'. Nyru nodded and without further ado the council looked up into the ceiling that stood ten stories higher. There was a circular hole above where the moon shun down. It was full. In the radient twilight that shun down like a night light dark clouds began to spiral covering the moon. Nyru then held Claudia close to his side with one arm, knowing she would be feeling uncomfortable or agitated. As the clouds gathered lightning struck the top of the tower, and rain began to slowly drop down. Nyru was then taken by surprise as another lightning strike hit the path outside. There stood a weathermancer, one of the best trained of Castayu Del'yir. He seemed to capture the lightning and store it for use, making it his weapon.

'Any... questions...' a voice asked from the circle.
