Sienna let out a soft breath as she moved through the aisles at the store. She had her day off work thankfully, Sienna worked as a nurse at the hospital. She started out volunteering there when she was younger and in high school, but managed to get a job there due to her always being there and on time, she made a good impression really. She looked up at the top shelf to see that the box of pasta noodles she wanted were up there. She cursed under her breath. Sienna only stood to be five foot one, she took on the short genes from her mother's side of the family. She looked around seeing that nobody else was down the aisle and looked back up. She stepped close to the shelves then she grabbed ahold of one and then stood on her toes, reaching for the one at the top. Dang she hated being so short.

(it's actually perfect! Exactly what I was thinking, setting wise.) Jean woke up from a deep sleep of 3 hours. "Someone tell the nurse I got a new world record of 3 hours. Goddamn, I've never slept so-" Then Jean's arm flips up and down spazzingly. "-well in ages!" Jean stands up from his bed and grabs his assistance cane. He walks down the hospital hallway, occaisionally shouting random gargled words. He comes upon a nurse struggling with some noodles in the cupboard. "Lemme-"another random gargle of words."-help you with that." Jean reaches up an grabs the noddles. "Here." Jean hands the box to the nurse, "Sienna" Jean reads off her name tag. Just then his knee buckles and swivles left and right, making him fall onto the counter, however getting ahold of the edge on his elbow, holding himself up grabbing his cane to support himself. pic: http://www.time-to-change.org.uk/sites/default/files/imce_uploads/blogger-jamesb.JPG

Sienna looked over to see Jean as he reached for the noodles to help her. She smiled gently and nodded, "Thank you." She let out, although jumped slightly the moment his knee buckled and made him fall onto the counter. "Are you alright?" She asked quickly, gently placing a hand on his arm. She wanted to make sure he was alright and didn't hurt himself. "Do you need help getting somewhere?" She questioned as she placed the noodles down. She would definitely stop from cooking to help out a patient. She knew Jean had quite the issues on his hands and she'd do anything she could to help. She huffed out softly, her heart literally pounding in her chest. When patients had moments like this, it honestly scared the hell out of her from time to time.

Jean yells a few curses uncontrollablly. "Um, yeah I'm fine." He stands up examining his elbow. "I've experienced-" another garbled mess "-way worse." Jean says, imitating a faint by holding his forehead and turning his eyes back in his head slightly. "Whatcha cookin' nurse?"

Sienna blinked as he yelled a few curse words but she smiled anyways. "Alright, I am just making sure." She huffed out and dropped her hand from him. She looked towards the noodles and then she placed them into the boiling pot of water on the stove which was a few feet away from where they were. She looked over towards him as he imitated a faint and she laughed softly, "I believe it." She shrugged. "I was planning to just make a small snack while on my break."

"Oh, cool." Jean looked at the food and said, "Tell me if you need any help, however I don't think you'll need me to help." Jean mostly spent most of his days in the hospital bed doing nothing except watching TV. He couldn't walk around much without causing an accident.

Sienna looked towards him and smiled gently. "Alright. Although, I do need your help.." She brought up a finger then she pointed up towards another cabinet. "I need the sauce..." She blushed softly. She really wished she wasn't so short. Normally to do this she would have to literally climb on the counter like a child just to get it. She always placed it on a lower shelf so she could get it, but somehow it always managed to get on the higher shelves.

Jean smiles lightly, "It seems that the other staff here purposely put all this crap up here." He reaches up and grabs the sauce and hands it to her, after he does his arm shakes a little bit then stops.

Sienna laughed softly, "It appears so." She took the sauce when he held it out to her, "Thank you." She placed it over on the counter and stirred the noodles. "I am just grateful that you came by in time. I really wouldn't have wanted to climb on the counter again." She admitted.

Sienna released a soft breath and she pushed hair behind her ear. "It usually varies, I was one of those 'extra' nurses... So I am all over the place. They don't have me set to a specific yet." She sighed. Which was a shame, mostly because she had to run all over the place. She had been recently hired, so she hasn't been working there long.

"Hm, nobody in my dorm has as great of a personality as you." Jean says winking. Most of the nurses that worked with Jean couldn't really handle the disabilities he had, they always took the tics or muscle spazzms the wrong way. And if he was asked to sign something it would take about 4-5 tries for him to actually get a signature on there without it being a jumble of words.

Sienna paused and she looked towards him in time to catch him wink. She cleared her throat lightly and smiled. "Well, thank you. Maybe I should work out something so I drop by your dorm every once in a while." She nodded. Sienna accepted people with disabilities, especially like his. Nobody could control what happened to them, so she was one to keep a smile on her face and treat them like an equal. Although, some of the other nurses here were just flat out rude and didn't respect that sort of thinking.

" I guess I'll see you seen then." Jean said grabbing his cane and nodding his head 'goodbye'. She was cute nurse, but he didn't think anything about a relationship with her, he didn't want to get her in any kind of trouble with the other nurses and doctors.

Sienna watched him and she nodded, "Alright, I will see you then. Good bye." She gave a slight wave to him before she finished up her cooking. She used the strainer to separate the noodles from the water before putting the noodles into a bowl. She put some sauce onto them and put the sauce container away before grabbing a fork and moving to the table to eat.
