Robert listened to Enel's taunts with half an ear, He didn't care for them, thus they weren't important enough for him to listen to. He was in battle mode, and as Enel thought he was invincible, so to did Robert believe he could not lose. In fact, he didn't give himself the luxury to believe he could. There was too much at stake for him to not prevail. "I accept you challenge, Enel. Mew shall be out of your hands soon."

Lucario stepped forward, sizing up the Carracosta in front of him. It stood at 3’11”, his exact height. There was to be no height advantage here. The Carracosta was larger in girth to Lucario, however, making it slower than the speedy Lucario. 'You will not survive this encounter, my adversary...' thought Lucario sadly. It was unfortunate that the Pokémon had allied itself with the trash calling itself Team Solstice, but they could not save every Pokémon from darkness. Hearing his Master and true friend Robert call out behind him,"Lucario, use Aura Sphere!"Lucario nodded, and put his paws together near his body. He focused on both the Aura signature of his opponent, as well as his own, gathering it in his paws in mere seconds, creating a large spinning orb there. With a sharp cry, Lucario sent it at the Carracosta, straight at it's chest. It flew towards it straight as an arrow, for Lucario never missed with the attack. It's power could be felt even by non Aura sensors, and Carracosta would be sent flying by the impact.

" Take the attack straight on and use Hydro Pump! " he shouted as Carracosta pushed it's chest out and took the attack straight on, which caused it to be pushed backwards several feet. Carracosta then stomped it's left foot into the dirt, following with it's right doing the same. It would then open it's mouth as a blast of water would race out, breaking through the dirt before it neared Lucario.

Lucario smirked as his Aura Sphere hit. 'Like there was ever any doubt.' the Pokémon thought to himself smugly. However, the battle was far from over. Carracosta sent out a powerful stream of water barreling towards him, and his eyes narrowed, waiting for a command from Robert. He didn't have to wait long."Lucario, use Flash Cannon to counter, then use Earthquake! Send him flying!"Lucario grinned once again. His Master knew exactly what to do in most every situation. Opening his mouth wide, a blinding white light began gathering there, as he stored there the light around him. After a few seconds, a beam made of flight fired from Lucario's mouth towards the Hydro Pump. They clashed for a moment, neither willing to give up ground, before they exploded violently, causing a smoke cloud to waft over the arena for a moment. This was the exact distraction Lucario needed. His palms glowed with a golden light for a moment before he slammed them down upon the ground, tearing it up. Cracks spread all across the area, sending rocks and debris everywhere. Most of the damage, however, was directed towards Carracosta, who would be sent high into the air if the move struck.

" Carracosta, counter it with your own Earthquake. " he said. Carracosta then lifted it's right arm in a punching motion before it struck the ground, sending shockwaves into it to counter Lucario's. " Now use Stone Edge. " Three rings of energy then began to rotate around Carracosta's body before solidifying into Pokeball sized rocks. " Go! " he shouted as the rocks were rapidly fired towards Lucario at high speeds.

Lucario grimaced as the Stone Edge stones glanced off of his body. Being a Steel Type and a Fighting Type, the stones did little damage. But it still hurt. Shaking off the pain. Lucario heard Robert call out,"Lucario! Let's go with another Aura Sphere!"Once again, Lucario put his paws next to his body, and the Sphere formed there while he locked onto Carracosta's Aura signature. It fired once again, Lucario determined to take out his opponent.

Carracosta, take the hit, your done with this battle for now. " he said as the Aura Sphere hit Carracosta, causing it to drop to it's knee. Enel then used it's Pokeball to withdraw it. " Let's see how you fair in discomfort. " he said as he released Volcarona from it's Pokeball. " Use Fire Blast, Quick " he shouted. Volcarona's wings folded in before folding back out, with the release of a massive stream of fire blazing towards Lucario shaped into a symbol.

Lucario's eyes widened as the large fire star came hurtling towards him, and realized that there was no countering such a large force. He closed his eyes, and was about to accept the pain the move was to bring him, when he heard, in both his mind and the outside,"DODGE IT NOW!!!"Opening his eyes in an instant, Lucario leaped to the side, using it's superior speed to just barely make it out of the way of the Fire Blast. Skidding to a halt, Lucario glared at Enel, while Robert said exasperatedly,,"Lucario, come back...."A red beam of light came from Lucario's Pokéball, sucking him inside.

Robert sighed as he put Lucario's Pokéball on his belt. But on his face, confidence and what seemed to be harsh amusement shone upon his face. "Ha! You are so predictable, Enel! I knew you would switch Pokémon! You're falling right into my trap!" As he said it, Robert pulled form his belt a Cherish Ball. 'Even though I saw it coming, I wasn't expecting Volcarona of all Pokémon, just a Fire type. Guess it can't be helped.' Keeping up the façade of extreme confidence and all-knowing ability, "Your bug is merely another Fly to be squashed! Go, Amaterasu!" Robert threw the Cherish Ball high into the air, where it opened, revealing in a white flash of light, a large Black Charizard, which sparked and shone while coming out of the Pokéball.

Amaterasu roared as he flapped his huge wings after emerging from his Pokéball. Amaterasu was much larger than most other Charizard, standing in at a whooping 8'5'', with a wing span of 15 feet across, nearly double it's own height.He roared in defiance of the harm the Volcarona had tried to do against his friend Lucario, roared for the mistreatment of Mew, and roared for Volcarona's unconscious body to fall like a stone upon the battle field. Of all of Robert's Pokémon, Amaterasu was certainly the most vicious in nature, a fact he prided itself on. Having grown up upon Mt. Silver, he had to be tough or die trying. Facing Volcarona, the large Charizard heard partner-of-his-heart-and-mind Robert call to him,"Amaterasu! Show them your power with a Flamethrower!"With a wicked grin, Amaterasu reared it's head back before billowing from it's massive jaws a stream of fire. The air ripped about it as it flew towards Volcarona, the heat given off of the attack was intense, and both the battlers would feel it's intensity even from their safe distance. Amaterasu held nothing back.

I mean it'd make sense because Volcarona is a Bug Type, but it isn't weak against Fire Types, so you may want to re-do your strategy Jacket Boy. Volcarona use Flame Thrower and show this punk the strength of your God! " he shouted at the top of his lungs, signifying that he was finally taking the battle serious. And when he did take the battle serious, he would do anything to win. As the Flame Throw of the enemy Charizard neared, Volcarona repeated the previous motion as the Fire Blast but this time it released a powerful stream of fire, holding off the Charizard's for a couple seconds. The heat in the area was now becoming too hot for Enel making him remove his cap and white collared shirt. Now with his black t-shirt on only.
" With all this fire, I can't even see where he is, which means this would be the perfect time. " he muttered to himself. As the two Flame Throwers raged against each other, Enel pulled out Carracosta's Pokeball and released it. He then removed his back pack and took out a Max Potion and began to spray the Carracosta's chest, healing it of the previous damage bestowed upon it. Now as it was nursed back to full health, Enel returned it to it's Pokeball and placed his backpack on. He was about to forget the Max Potion can but remembered and placed it in a side pouch on his bag. It was an almost unfair action but Enel never fought fair and healing his Pokemon wasn't against Battle Rules. At this moment, Valcarona's Flame Thrower was being pushed back until it was hit.
" This isn't going to get us anywhere at this rate. Valcarona come back. " he said as he returned it to it's Pokeball. " Go Haxorus " he said throwing another Pokeball out, releasing his Haxorus. It was his second biggest Pokemon standing at 8'0", only a bit taller than Enel. " It's seems as if you are prolonging the inevitable. But, I shall hand you your Jacket on a Golden Plate. Haxorus, use Surf. " he said. Haxorus' would then screech loudly as a massive wave of water collected from the nearby streams began to pull closer. And soon, Haxorus was riding atop the wave heading towards the Charizard.

Amaterasu smiled with a savage pleasure as his Flamethrower overpowered Volcarona's. 'Weak Insect, trying to stop the unstoppable.' thought Amaterasu. 'He shall soon learn the folly of his actions.' However, before the large Charizard could press the attack, Volcarona was called back into his Pokéball, to be replaced with Haxorus. Seeing the Dragon Type Pokémon before him brought about a primal rage within Amaterasu, one that bid him to rip and tear and sink his teeth and claws into his foe. He glared at Haxorus, roaring once more, a terrible sound that was reminiscent to steel grating against stone. Haxorus charged at him with the wave, and Amaterasu stayed in the air, waiting for the Pokémon to come to him."Amaterasu! Use Sunny Day, then Outrage!"called out Robert, and Amaterasu nodded. His jaws wide, he shot off a beam of pure yellow energy towards the sky, intensifying the sun's rays and weakening the Water Type attack hurtling towards him. It stuck him, threatening to sink the Charizard under it's depths. But thanks to the quick thinking of Robert, the waves did less damage to Amaterasu, and he was able to not only struggle against of the attack, but leap out of the waters entirely, flying at Haxorus at breakneck speed. His eyes glowed red, a sign that Outrage was in effect. Amaterasu would slash at the Haxorus with it's claws, bite it with it's teeth, and slam against it with it's massive tail for 2-3 turns, inflicting massive damage. At such close range, it would be unlikely for the Haxorus to break free or attack.

Haxorus had taken a bad beating from the Charizard and almost fell to it's knees. But, it kept it's self up recognizing the minimum space between itself and Charizard along with Enel. " Get yourself together and use Surf once more. " he shouted. Haxorus would then screech again as a massive wave would appear, lifting Haxorus up and attempting to crash down on Charizard. And because of Outrage requiring close combat, it left Charizard too close to escape.

That reminds me Haxorus has the ability Rivalry, which raises it's attack stat by one because Amaterasu is a Male. I also decided to timeskip the 2nd turn so Haxorus will take 8 damage.

Amaterasu, once his Outrage had finished, stood wobbling, his eyes still red. His thoughts were jumbled and confusing, and he seemed to have no control over his body. Robert knew what this was: a side effect of Outrage caused the Pokémon to become Confused. So, the Trainer and Pokémon alike could do nothing as the Surf collided with Amaterasu, sending him flying towards the ground, where he hit it hard."Amaterasu! You must get up! If not, our cause is lost! Use Flamethrower, full power!"Amaterasu staggered to it's feet, glaring around at nothing. Suddenly, a red Aura began emanating around the Charizard, and the flame on his tail burst forth in a blaze of fire, becoming larger than either Pokémon. With this, he fired off a Flamethrower the likes of which no one had ever seen. But whether it hit Haxorus or Amaterasu himself was up to fate.
