The golden sun sparkled brightly in the center of the clear sky as if to proclaim its determination to make the entire earth happy with force if need be. Garrett watched it out of the corner of his eye with venom. Happiness was overrated. Satisfaction was where fulfillment came from. Satisfaction in the completion of a difficult task or the unwinding of an intricate problem. Happiness was for those too weak to seek out there calling.
But as Garrett mulled over his detestation for those without purpose he frowned. He turned to look at the sun full on for just a moment. It was only the briefest of glances yet Garrett felt as though the glittering ball did not look away when he did. It mocked him there in the sky fulfilling its duty to the earth. Light in the day, and when night came it would take its leave. Yet here Garrett stood. Alone under the sky waiting for something to happen - anything to happen - that would allow him to make his talents useful.

There was not much for him to do and there had not been for some time. All the creatures that had minds were advoid him and for good cause. Word had spread of a half kalona with bloodlust lurking the lands. He longed for cries of pain and fear the taste of victory among other things. He was longing for a battle something to soothe his dark soul. The sun was not making him feel any better and he growled softly squinting his eyes longing for dusk and the night.
He himself had become who he was. Someone to be feared by all and he loved it he was never a peaceful stallion. He hated all things good including love and happiness. His footsteps were heavy as he walked along looking for some nice dark spot a cave anything to take his mind off the monster whtin.

Garrett's ears twitched as he glared at the dirt below his hooves with disdain. He had heard something. Like the sound of approaching footsteps. Garrett turned his head to follow the noise. Sure enough he saw a stallion approaching. As was in his nature he distinctly noticed what appeared to be blood or blood stains upon his fetlocks. In a burst of unusual glee Garrett smiled broadly at the prospect of using his healing talents. He carefully made his presence more visible so that if the stallion should come closer they would be forced to recognize the others' presence and Garrett could inquire about the deep red. But on the off chance of appearing too eager to see injury, as he did not yet know the character of this distant stallion, Garrett refocused his attention onto the nearby scenery waiting to see if luck would grant him a chance to exhibit his skills.

As he squinted into the sun he could make out some sort of figure that seemed to be eyeing him. He slowly made his way over not caring how much noise he made or what he stepped on. He kept on walking not stopping untill he had a clear view of the one before him. The figure was a stallion and he offerd a sharp toothed grin in greeting. He had become lazy with his speech and had slipped back into his original accent. Not that he cared very much consider he hardly talked he was a stallion of actions not one of words. Talks was for the weak he always believed that.
He had not said a word as of yer sizing up the stallion before him. He seemed to be a uni they made easy prey. Even if they could heal somewhat they were still hardly a challenge. "Are you a wandering lost soul..? Or a cowing vimpering stallion zat lacks any spirit" he eyes the stallion hoping he was a fighting spirit and would be brought down as such. A oppnot who never tried was hardly worthy to him but all the same. "Has my so called brother become so low as to zry and send unicorns after me?" he laughs at the thought how Kaiser would be desperate enough to send someone who would hardly stand a chance.

The unknown stallion approached Garrett who, in response, turned in silent acknowledgement. The stranger spoke in an accent foreign to Garrett which began to churn various curiosities in the back of Garrett's mind, though his expression remained flat.
When the stranger paused his speech to laugh Garrett briefly chuckled along and then replied, "Good fellow I hardly know who this 'brother' you speak of is, but I can assure you that he did not send me looking for you. I do not work for others unless it is for my own benefit, and unless he is in need of a medic he could not have any way to return a favor." Garrett glanced down at the stranger's hooves. Returning his eye contact to the stallion, "You on the other hand..." Garrett said nodding towards the point of his interest, "may be a more worthy cause of my assistance. Tell me, what is wrong with your ankles?" He paused and then added as an afterthought, "What do you call yourself, stranger?"

He was not a very talkative stallion himself and he just kept eyeing the other stallion. He was already growing bored but that always seemed to happen. Nothing new seemed o occur in these parts. He turned his gaze back to the stallion listening to his words. "I never trust the words of others and why should i?" his speech goes back and froth between his ways of speaking. . He laughs slightly and does not feel the need to say anything more. "Talk bores me..i am a stallion of action" he grins at the other stallion anticipating that action he speaks of.
"Why would i be in need of assistance? Are you trying to say im weak and need help?" he growls louder growing annoyed. "There is nothing wrong with me im perfectly sane and in control" he looks off into the distance "You can call me whatever you like" he grins again waiting to see what unfolds.
