 A large blue green swirling portal opened from what would seem to think air Illuminating the forest around it s solitary figure strode out into the woods his gaze slowly following his surroundings. A signal of sorts appeared on his visor as he stepped in the direction of it, an 'base' behind him the tenant previously having moved out quickly. The portal vanishing behind him as it had appeared.
His chest plate detached transforming into a birdlike creature making a humming/chirping sort of noise as it circled a few times before going off quickly ahead of the larger bot. To investigate the source of the signal flying high above the trees.
Soundwave himself simply made his way toward it at a steady pace, there wasn't anywhere you could run easily from him he couldn't find with time. This one didn't seem well equipped either to handle the large communication's Bot from their first meeting as he hunted a certain wayward lieutenant. Sent to corral the loose forces that seemed to have separated and gone their own way in the leader's absence. Even he had been having trouble locating the seeker, but he suspected the seeker's spawn might have information on his whereabouts.
Lazerbeak finding the source of the signal and abandoned building lights on quietly sent information back to Soundwave as it circled high above and out of sight.
Soundwave paused as the information came then began moving again adjusting his course only slightly.

Luckily for Soundwave, Rebel's Ambition, disowned son of Air Commander Starscream, was a little busy at the moment.
After his last terrifying encounter with the unfamiliar, faceless Decepticon, Reb and his adopted son Sabotage had moved out into an abandoned building in the woodlands. It had been a harrowing week, carting all of their equipment out there and rigging a couple generators to keep the computers going, but it was ultimately worth it. He felt safer here--not safe, but safeer. To be fully safe, Reb would have to rig a signal dampener, and for all of his luck and mechanical skill, he'd not yet figured out a way to make one. He'd always assumed that his own signal was too faint, too alien to pick up on, but a Decepticon appearing at his workshop, investigating it, invading it? That was not a coincidence. Someone had found him. Someone wanted to find him. Someone wanted him to remain found.
He had just sort of assumed that, y'know, that "someone" had been a someone singular.
With his arms pinned against his side, his null rays were in too awkward a position to get at his assailant, and even with a shrieking Sabotage yanking at her arms, it seemed very unlikely that Teon Nessis was letting him go. Instead, swearing up a storm, he kicked repeatedly at her chest. She gasped and growled each time, struggling to wrap one arm around both of his to get at the weapons at her hip. They'd been at this for about ten minutes now, and she was struggling to remain calm in the face of her waning energy. No doubt the rogue robot could do this for hours, but her own, stupidly frail organic body didn't stand a chance. With a snarl, she tightened her grip and resisted the urge to sink her teeth into his unyielding metal body.
In short, everyone in the cabin was thoroughly and completely distracted.

The abandoned building seemed left open, as Soundwave could hear a struggle inside, not that it mattered to him. Before entering the doorway Lazerbeak came flying down from the sky latching itself back to Soundwave's chest plate. With the entrance already open soundwave didn't have to break the door. And Lazerbeak didn't seem to find any sort of defense mechanism's either.
What greeted the communication's tech though was a dogpile of both bot and organic both organics however were coved in mechanics. On the top of the pile was a cat cyborg, the bot's science project or pet, but similar in many aspects to his own inorganic companion Ravage.
Soundwave approached quite silently for such a big bot his tentacle like appendages reaching out to the pile to separate the trio. his slender hand grabbing Sab by the back of the neck holding firmly pulling the weakest link away and placing him on the floor nearby Surprisingly gently for even Soundwave. However the other two were not so lucky as he determined the best course of action, he couldn't get information out of a dead bot and this organic seemed to be giving Reb quite a bit of trouble.
Soundwave's tentacles wrapped around the remaining two as he thrust them upside down in the air.
