Bozi

Personality: Meek and obedient, Bozi is the prime example of a slave. He keeps his head down and eyes averted around any demon, adult or cub, and is very quiet. He only speaks when spoken to, even when concerning other slaves. He dreads every day, but is too cowardly to take his own life. Despite his life of constant abuse and derangement, he is hopeful that some day things will turn in his favor. Deep down he hopes for one of two things: to either be taken away by a kind stranger and set free, or to be killed at the paws of a demon to end his suffering.

Personality: Phos is a decent lion when all is said and done. He keeps his paws clean and doesn't get into any trouble, but this lion has quite the talent for holding a grudge. Vengeance is his middle name, and he won't rest until justice is extracted on whoever wronged him. It will grow as he does and, when he's an adult, he'll see no wrong in seriously hurting or even killing someone that doesn't agree with him. It would be wise to tread on eggshells around this lion. A hermit at heart but loyal to those who raise him, he'll take care of his kin should the need arise.

She's very proud of her strength and will boast to those around her about it, and enjoys showing up the males when she can.

Personality: From the first day Cetus set eyes on the sea, he knew he had to get in the water. Unfortunately that's not allowed for cubs, so for the first few months of his life the poor thing has to stare longingly at the waves and settle for tide pools. Curious by nature and very driven, Cetus practices swimming in any water he could find so when he can finally face the ocean he won't get dragged out. Once he's old enough the water will be his second home. Swimming and fishing will be his passion. He'll have a few rather close calls involving the water, whether it's caught in a rip tide and pulled out far from the shores or finding the other creatures that call the sea home can be very dangerous when provoked. His love for his family runs deep and he's very keen on pleasing his parents, so when he does get into trouble he's always very apologetic.

He'll go to great lengths to amuse himself, even when it doesn't amuse those around him. In recent months he's become quiet and detached from others, but he's slowly being pulled out of his shell.

Personality: Zuberi is your typical strong and silent kind of guy. Zuberi is sturdy and confident in himself, and should he try to be taken advantage of, he'll put whoever it is soundly in their place. Shy around ladies but a romantic at heart, he will gladly play the knight to any female's damsel in distress. He's not very good at expressing himself vocally, preferring to let actions take their place when words become too tricky.

Personality: Quiet and shy, Shukura enjoys helping others and being of use. She watches from the sidelines in case anyone gets hurt or upset. If that's the case, she'll go over to them to try to comfort them. She's very sweet and kind, but gets easily upset if she does something wrong or gets a stern talking-to. Her self-confidence is weak, but can grow if nurtured properly.

Personality: Hawnu is a rambunctious lion, something of a troublemaker and will be until he finally finds his calling in the pride: to protect it and all the creatures within it with his life. He is fiercely loyal to his family and close friends, a force to be reckoned with in matters of physical strength. His parents and siblings are incredibly dear to him and, from cub to adulthood, he'll be there to defend their honor or stand up for them in times of need. He'll be rather horrible with the ladies, getting flustered around a lioness he thinks is pretty or attracts him in some way.

Personality: When Han was born, she was very ill. She was quiet and very still for the first few weeks of life, and it didn't look like she'd survive, but the little cub never gave up. Her determination saw her through the illness, and she survived. The damage had been done, though, and Han had trouble her whole life keeping up with cubs her age, taking down prey as she grew older, and keeping food down after not eating for a few days. She never let her shortness of breath or small size get in the way of her amazing outlook on life. Every day is a gift, she feels, and she will enjoy each day to the fullest. Her optimism and determination keep her going despite her stunted growth and poor lungs, and she's often found bringing a smile to just about everyone's face. She does her share in hunting when she can, and doesn't feel as though she should be treated differently.

Taking after her mother, she admires and prizes those males with darker manes and coats, although she knows she'll probably never be picked to mate with any of the males that come into power. She hates to let her mother and father down, and will do anything they ask of her. Her family - both blood and pride - are her life, and she would do anything for their happiness.

Personality: Dumo is a chip off the ol' block. He's got his dad's 'can't touch this' swagger and generally comes off as obnoxious and egotistical. He's incredibly smart, but doesn't let others know. He prefers them to think that he's a big, dumb lion who throws his weight around without thinking, when really Dumo is calculating every move and possible outcome of his actions. He's fiercely loyal if you can get close enough to break through his loner shell, even though he might not show it when it doesn't count. If he's your friend, though, you'll always have someone to stand back-to-back with in a fight.

His cocky and 'better than you' attitude is pretty hard to deal with though, and while he prefers to be alone, there are times when his loneliness eats him up. Thankfully he has his wonderful family to snuggle with when he's feeling a little blue.

Gullible and trusting, it's easy to dupe her and make her look like a fool, but she's very good at laughing at herself and shaking off those that make fun of her. She's very sweet and will gladly put others before her self. Her muse comes in the form of snakes, and she will gladly talk with them and let them ride on her, even when not in a dreaming state.

Visits from dad are always very special and he cherishes them greatly. He has a knack for painting and will do whatever it takes to make his own brushes and dyes, as well as find his own canvases. Lots of times he goes home to mom stained red and blue, and sometimes even his siblings end up multi-hued as well. He loves to make others smile with his paintings and will end up being very talented at his work. His Seer abilities manifest when he's painting, and he gets visions of far off lands. He paints what he sees in his visions to bring new places to those who could never travel that far away.

Personality: Taji takes after his great-grandfather, Shauku, the founder of the Kwa Kikombe pride in both appearance and personality. Those who knew Shauku insist Taji is a reincarnation of the fun-loving lion. Taji loves games and takes great pride in overseeing the many creatures that make up the Kikombe, ensuring they are safe and having fun as well. While he's fairly new to the task of helping the Game Overseer run the pride, he is well-known to the many members for his success in playing in his youth. He is the first from the line of Shauku to take up leadership of the pride and is very happy to be in such a position. He loves cubs and enjoys training, as that was his roll before stepping up to help Howahkan.

He's a sweet soul, though, and hates making others feel badly about themselves. He's a very good sport and will root for the underdog, even when he's playing them. That doesn't mean he'll go easy on you though!

He laughs a lot more and is honest and true to his mate. But when she and his cubs are nowhere in sight, his sneaky and tricky ways come out in full force.

A bit restless, he can often be found walking around rather than laying to bask in the sun. Due to his mother being a goddess, he is a Seer. His visions are few and far between. Personality: Mat is a very leap before you look kind of girl. She's always getting into little fights and causing a ruckus with her siblings. She's loud, not afraid to state her mind, and very competitive. She wants to be the best at everything, even if she's actually horrible at it. Mat is headstrong and lets her emotions rule her actions rather than thinking everything through rationally. If something confuses her, she'd rather try to eat it than learn about it. As she grows she'll learn that there are better ways to handle certain situations than fighting, but she's much better with actions than words. As long as whoever she is with is patient with her, she can work things out verbally rather than physically.

If you do succeed in ruffling her feathers, you'd better hope you can run faster than her. She'll give you a sound beating to teach you a lesson.

He has a huge soft spot for his mom and siblings and would do anything for them. You mess with them, he'll mess you up! His big, brutish ways don't lend well to being stealthy, though. He'd much rather leap before he looks, and that kind of brash attitude can get him into trouble.

Personality: Ndoto lives life to the fullest every day. His strong voice can usually be heard singing as he goes about his daily routines, and thankfully he's quite talented so normally it's not annoying. He, like his brother, is very go with the flow and has a carefree nature. Unlike his brother, he's full of energy and must always be moving. He can be a bit silly at times, joking with others and teasing them, but he knows when he needs to be serious and always follows through. He is the yin to his brother's yang, balancing his mellow with excitement. He is a Seer but doesn't have visions very often, generally only when he's in a state of high emotion, good or bad.

Personality: Aslan is a fairly cheerful fellow, as long as you catch him at the right time of day. He can be standoffish if he's tired, hungry, or grumpy, but don't let it fool you. If you can take him at his worst, he'll reward you with his best. He has a bit of a chip on his shoulder about never measuring up to his father's standards, and wants to have a family of his own some day to prove that he's better than the lion he looked up to as a cub. Settling down will be tricky, though. He grew up with the mindset that males could have as many females as they wanted and no one would say a word against it. Finding the outside world doesn't generally have the 'one male, many females' mindset was a bit of a letdown, but he's sure there's a special lady for him somewhere out there.

Personality: Esona is her daddy's girl through and through. Sarcastic and analytic, she isn't afraid to say what's on her mind, even if it might hurt someone else's feelings. She is quick to point out flaws in both ideas and lions, including herself, and is her hardest critic. Esona uses her mind rather than her body to be successful in life, considering she wishes to be the best huntress this side of the Nile, and for some small lions that might be considered a silly dream. Despite her critical way of thinking and harsh way of speaking, she loves her family dearly and would go out of her way to help any one of them.

Personality: Tikahn likes to help others when he can. He's very dependable and kind but can be a bit unsure of himself due to his pelt and the stigma in his pride that goes with it. A gentle soul and a bit clumsy and goofy, he's quick with jokes and to smile. Making others happy makes him happy, so he often goes out of his way to so something for someone who might be down. Loyal as the day is long, those who are crafty could easily take advantage of his kindness and his belief that everyone is inherently good. As long as they keep a kind face around him, they could do whatever they wanted with him.

Personality: Ezen is a big, imposing mass of a lion who does his job without having to really try. His grumpy and gruff personality keeps him fairly isolated from the rest of the pride, and his wintery pelt doesn't help matters much. He doesn't mind, though, preferring to spend his time alone. It doesn't take much to get him mad, and if you succeed in that, you'd better hope you can outrun him. He's not someone you want to see mad. No, really. Just put the snowball down it's not worth it.

Personality: A bit timid, Kiva enjoys his alone time quite a lot. He'd rather pretend to play knights with his little imaginary friends than actually go out and roughhouse with other cubs. He has a wild imagination that is full of kings, pretty, helpless females, lions with wings, and so many other things that preoccupy his time and make the days fly by. He dreams of becoming a knight to help those in need, but he's so quiet and mild mannered that he'll have to go through a lot of training to reach that point. He is very smart, both in book smarts and common sense, and can figure out most any problem that is given to him. Perhaps he can use his mind rather than his muscle to become a great, heroic knight for his kingdom.
