Alright, it had been a week. A rather restless week given Nevada's condition and Gale leaving several days ago. No bother, though, Stormy had found something to do! Namely try on the shoes she'd stolen with different outfits.
Except no matter what she tried, they didn't fit. Cryyyyy.
At least she made note of what they were after a bit of research (what kind of name was Jimmy Choo Zaps anyway?); maybe one day she'd be able to acquire something as snazzy!
Sending a quick text to update Gale like he was her personal Facebook and alerting Nevada with a pat on the head that she was off to see the wizard, the young hunter grabbed the shoes and made her way up the stairs of the dorms.

As sneaky as she could, she crept up to the familiar door. Her first attempts had been rather amaetuerish since the door kept staying locked, but she had luck this time: the door came ajar with a little pressure. Looking over her shoulder, Stormy ducked in and quietly closed the door behind her.
She still couldn't get over how nice the apartment was. One day. she promised herself. One day I'll get nice things too. Well, assuming Gale didn't . . . Wow, she was getting ahead of herself. Focus.
More careful looks were passed around as she crept in, feeling the Jimmy Choos were like a rainbow target in her hands and that at any moment something would jump out and catch her. But the apartment was empty and silent save for her heartbeat and footsteps. Calming herself with a deep breath, Stormy slunk through the living room, kitchen, and hallway, until at last she hit the bedroom.
Candace, jeez. She'd forgotten how many shoes were there. Now where had these gone originally . . . It looked as though Candace had torn the place apart looking for them; she couldn't help but giggle a little.
Well, this box looked as good as the next, so in went the Zaps. Halfway there!

Alright, how did Lightning McQueen do it? "I am speed". So . . .
I am stealth, Stormy began her mantra as she snuck along down the hallway. I am stealth. I am really, really stealthy. Heel to toe, heel to toe, ears alert for funny sounds: like a door opening.
Nothing.
I am super duper stealth.
Her hands brushed along the cabinets and counter in passing as she made her way through the kitchen, making a mental catalog of her future room. Maybe Molly and Candace would be great help with interior decorating! come to think of it, she had yet to meet the so-called living Disney Princess . . And then the awe turned to a teensy bit of envy; she wanted to be that awesome too.
Stormy reached the door before she knew it and, wincing as it squeaked upon opening, exited as quick as she could. Mission accomplished, she thought with a proud smile and a little bounce as she closed the door. Ohhhh, wait until Candace found out! Should she let her know now? Later?? Well, the shoe delivery would be its own answer . . . For now, she headed back into the stairwell before her celebration could get cut short.
