Realm of the Martyr

Another dimension? Another part of the World left undiscovered? No one knows except for her followers. By choosing to follow the Martyr you are giving up any ties with whatever it was you had before. Whether it be a Cursed or a Follower, you are becoming her peon to do with as she pleases. You will not listen nor be pulled by the Mastermind's strings. The Martyr's thoughts and will are your own.

The Martyr refuses to forgive the Gods for their loathing of the Cursed. Yet she feels she cannot trust the Mastermind or the ones who follow her. She will take requests from the Mastermind but ultimately works alone. In recent years she has been secluded from the events that have occurred - watching, waiting, biding her time until it is right. Now she has resurfaced from her slumber to fight the Gods once more. Follow her if you dare.

Positions in Rank

The Martyr's ranking system is heavily influenced on early Asian ranks.

Recruit - Fresh into the Martyr's service. Everyone starts here unless stated otherwise by the Martyr herself. You are the lowest of the low - expendable in every means of the word. A worthless peon she will not lift a claw to save you if you cannot save yourself. Suffer for her cause and prove your worth! Only the worthy shall prevail.

Corporal - You've begun to stand out. The Martyr has looked at you in favor and you've been given a promotion in rank. It's nothing glamorous. Now your job is to order a small unit under you around and well - make sure they make it through the next battle. Oh... and you kinda have to report back to your Sergeant...

Sergeant - Leader of a small squad. Your second-in-command is the corporal. While you're out there fighting and giving orders, you need to make sure to keep your wits about you and work well with your underlings. You were once in that spot yourself!

Champion - Reserved only for the Martyr's demi-gods. There is no further advancement. Champions are Martyr's most elite warriors.

You can then branch off into...

Guard - Finally - you have a bit more rest now. You are tasked with guarding certain areas and those areas alone. Your life is on the line to make sure the enemy does not get through. Destroy any who venture your way. You can either choose to stop your career advance here or strive to becoming something more.

Colonel - Ah, your hard work has paid off. You're as high as you can go without pushing yourself further. You chose to have a more action paced life instead of a less ambitious one. Still if you choose there's more glory to be had. You now report directly to the Generals and deal with the petty squabbles of the ranks under you. You also assign the Guards to their positions.

Guard Advancements

Rear General - Odd name, important task. You are in charge of guarding the rear of the army and the realm where the Martyr comes from. It is an extremely important task for if anyone passed you the Martyr is in grave danger. An excellent position for those who are extremely strong yet would rather wait for the strongest to approach them instead of seeking out their opponent one weakling at a time.

Support General - You've learned to take orders and uphold them with every fiber of your being. If you feel the need to help your allies at hearing their cries of help - this is the rank to strive for. Support Generals head out to assist allies in need and escort them back to the main camp if required. Time is of the essence so you must be swift on your feet.

Colonel Advancements

Field General - You've been placed in charge of expanding the Martyr's territory, scouting the areas to spot any resistance, among other things. Although not in as much danger as the Front Generals you are in a position to assist them at all times.

Front General - Right out there on the front lines you lead the army to war with your cries to attack and assault all who oppose the Martyr. This is perfect for the ambitious warrior. Be brave - you will be one of the first to take a hit!

Guard / Colonel Advancement

Strategist General - Either a Guard or Colonel can become a Strategist General. You work with the other Generals to figure strategies that best play to everyone's talents and needs. You also need to be able to adapt to the ever changing situation that is the battlefield. Study hard and well, dear Strategist.

Follow The Martyr

Please note that the Martyr is a cursed Goddess. She will only allow the Cursed to follow her. Even then she is a picky b***h. If you just want to follow her for the sake of following her then you have another thing coming to you~

* If you are a follower or normal pockettu looking to follow her, you may ask for a conversion. This should be included in your reason to follow her.

* Blessed cannot follow her. Followers will lose the favor of their former god, leaving their service and will become one of Martyr's.

* NEW Once you follow the Martyr, there is no way out. She will kill your Pockettu if they wish to leave her service. You have been warned.

The Martyr is not the type of settle down with one person. However she will collect a hoard of Pockettu whom she desires favorable. She will become extremely possessive of them - even if they do no follow her.

Ryubix: [Anthro!Sparky] A Pockettu whom she originally had a fling with. She became rather possessive, corrupted him to her side and hasn't let go since. A member of her harem.

Felix: [Artymus] A Cursed who had no direction. She has taken him under her wing in hopes the children he promises will be worth something.

Martyr's Curse

It's sad to think yet Martyr has placed a curse upon some Pockettu. These are irreversible and shall forever affect the Pockettu's life.

Sinbari's Drake:
Your Pockettu Drake has been cursed by the Martyr: Instead of normally having 20 HP in a battle, Drake shall always have ten less. So his starting HP will always be 10. [If he changes to a general or any other type of Pockettu that has a different HP, the minus ten status remains.] Drake's strength has been reduced by two. Instead of rolling one 4-sided dice you now must generate a random number between 1 and 2 if he attacks. If Drake breeds again in the future any of his children will be highly deformed and disfigured. Meaning that they will have missing limbs, eyes, upon other deformities. These deformities would hinder the daily lives of the Pockettu in question.

Sinbari's Risk:
Your Pockettu Risk has been cursed by the Martyr: Instead of normally having 20 HP in a battle, Risk will always have five less. So his starting HP will always be 15. [If he changes to a general or any other type of Pockettu that has a different HP, the minus five status remains.] If Risk ever breeds he will only be able to have one offspring with his chosen breeding partner. This applies for all breedings, even if a God's blessing is involved.
