Eyphah was flying over the sands of Eowyn, heading for home, when he spotted something that was just too amazing to pass up. There they were, two good sized Kiandri dragons, milling about down below him just waiting for someone like Eyphah to come along and make a meal of them. He knew that he should probably drop his things off, make sure that they were safe, and then circle back around but what were the odds they would still be here? Not to mention that someone else might very well come by and steal his dragons from him. It was a chance that the ever hungry Diabi just couldn't chance. No, he had to go down their now, stake his claim, and make sure that those two Kiandri added their glittering orbs to the hoard of them that he had gathered thus far. Eyphah's maw twisted into a toothy grin as he flew down toward the unsuspecting duo, letting the cauldron drop safely from his claws into the hot sand, as he slammed into one of them at full speed. The two of them, Eyphah and the Kiandri, were sent rolling with the Diabi recovering first from the assault and he attacked with his sharp, scythe like claws, the dangerous end of his tail, and his many teeth.
The first of the Kiandri wasn't even given a chance by the Diabi who added insult to injury as he used the sharp barb on the end of his to chop clean through the tail of the fallen Kiandri, claiming that for himself, before finishing it off. The creature set to crumbling away leaving behind only the tail meat and an orb, before he gave a purring sound, "Oh yes, you will make a delicious meal, won't you?" He purred at the tail before he whirled around to face the other dragon, ready to tear it limb from limb as well... then couldn't help but to stare, eyes wide, mouth agape, at the empty spot where the Kiandri had once been. It would seem as though it had fled...? Not something that pleased Eyphah even in the least bit, he hadn't even been able to mark that one as his! His teeth barred and he gave a snarling sound, "Cowardly worm!" He spat out, stomping a foot against the hot sands in displeasure. He hated weak things that rare away so fast, especially when he had been so eager to fight with a second Kiandri, the first one unable to sate his battle lust. This meant that he was going to have to go and hunt down some others later then... for now he would gather the spoils of this battle, get his cauldron, and continue on his way.
The first thing he did was walk over to where his cauldron sat, grabbing it in one hand and dragged it over to where the other things were waiting for him, plucking the Kiandri Orb up out of the sand. He looked it over, admiring it greatly, before he set to opening the burlap sack, putting the Kiandri orb safely inside, "Welcome to the group, my pretty orb." The first of the Kiandri orbs that he would gather but most certainly not the last. Oh no, there would be many more where that one came from and soon enough he would gave a mass of those ones, as well as the various others that could be had in Eowyn he thought to himself in a happy manner as he replaced the back in the cauldron where it had been riding since leaving Serenia some time ago. Once all of that was done he turned to look at the Kiandri tail, grinning a bit, before he grabbed the cauldron in his forefeet, the tail in his jaws, and took off toward home once more. The tail made it a bit harder to fly due to its weight but it would be well worth the extra effort. He'd bring this back with him, give it to his mother, and she would be more then pleased with such a gift. Enough so he was sure that she would share it with him, her more favorite son. At least that was what he felt that he was, though he might just be her creepiest son, but he'd take that honor too he thought to himself, grinning all the back to where his clan normally bedded down.
