Near the Aerie Peaks is the prestigious Hope Academy that is open to anyone to apply. Students accepted are given freedom to design, forge and train with their own weapons and magic. The headmaster of the academy believes that anyone who has attended shows interest in developing their own skills, and developing their own skills they will. As the oldest education centre that offers this kind of training (aside from Ravencrest Academy) students that graduate from Hope are sure to be fully prepared for life on their own in Magic Earth.

The Academy itself is a monolithic castle with spires and halls, gardens forests, dungeons and staircases. It was built in 1412 at the same time as Neutral City, its original purpose to train Neutral City's citizens (younger generations) to defend for themselves should another war come up. These days it still focuses on these same rules, but with extra, more modern necessities.

Ravencrest is found on the south-western most edge of the Land of Crows, it is the most respected, prestigious and famous academy in all of Magic Earth. It is known as the ultimate school for attack and defence, and it produces the most tactical graduates known to any of the teaching establishments in Magic Earth. Before the Land of Crows was hidden from the rest of the world it was used as a means for the Guildeam to produce defenders known as Guardians, who protected Occulas. When it was cut off from the rest of the world by Queen Declasia's order, it became a school to train shadowmancy and the Royal Guard. Now, since the Land of Crows' return, the academy is still private to the Conclave of Declasia. However, graduates of other academies can enrol to further their studies.

Graduates of Ravencrest are known for their greater skill in team combat, or most specifically their battle partners. Besides learning Shadowmancy if they're a member of the conclave, they are also well respected for their knowledge of the world around them. Ravencrest enforces students to commit to the learning of World Studies, of which students became aware of the world of which they live in, it's people and its hierarchy.

Ravencrest is ultimately ruled by Declasia, but she has appointed Royal Guard veteran Aras Crowstone to lead as head master of Ravencrest Academy. He works closely with the Tutors of Attack and Defence to assure top quality teaching and unbreakable protection of the students and the academy's ground.

Ravencrest itself is situated on a cliff's edges, behind it a river forks out and around the grounds until reaching the cliff where two waterfalls plummet to the wetland below. The academy is most lower level buildings of courtyards with central spires in three places. One in the centre, where the Tutors of Attack and Defence live and meet in the upper floors, the middle and bottom floors are mostly used for teaching. On the east side is the Royal Guard Spire, mostly for student living and some small sections specifically catering the teaching of Declasia's Royal Guard. The west spire is associated with shadowmancy and is shorter than the other spires, but continues deep underground.
