Maia in the grass on the park a fluffly kitty perched happily on her shoulder currently masking her energy to make sure for the moment the pair was left well enough alone from anyone who might seek to harm them. The conversed in low tones talking about the upcoming weekend.
Sheena tail swished as she nodded at Maia, tail flicking back and forth across the girl's back from her position on the eternal's shoulder. "I think it's a good thing what you are doing Maia. It nice that you are gathering up so many to gain experience in battle and make connection. The next one will be this weekend, but which day, the weekend is three days. Correct?"
Maia smiled feeling slightly proud at Sheena's words, but laughed a bit at her question, "Yes of course. I was thinking Saturday would be the most likely. More people will likely be willing to come out on a Saturday night as they may be up, out and about anyway. I'm hoping the experience is serving them well, but judging by my brother who has come home a little dinged up recently, I'm worried its not enough."
Sheena nodded, "Something is better than nothing Maia. He's dinged up, as you say, and not dead. You have to look on the bright side. You are doing great."
Maia smiled and gave a quick sigh, "yeah okay. So this time I was thinking on allowing magic and weapon usage and letting them spar in small groups ..."

Maryellen hadn't been able to stop thinking about what she had seen the other day. So, she had decided to return the park in the hopes of seeing that girl again. This time though, she was determined to actually take pictures.
She once again set off to Destiny City Central Park with her old camera. Maryellen heard lots of strange things in the park, but what caught her attention was a conversation she overheard while resting in the grass. As soon as she overheard the word magic, Maryellen knew that she must've stumbled upon the mysterious girl again. She tiptoed around some bushes until she could get a clear view of who was talking.
She recognized the girl she had seen the other day immediately. But she couldn't figure out who she was talking to. Except for a cat there didn't seem to be anything that she could be talking to. Then Maryellen saw the cat speak. She almost jumped out from behind the bush right then and there, but she held her energy in.
For the second time, she had completely forgotten about her camera. Instead of taking pictures she sat dumb-founded behind the bush.

Sheena head turned which caused Maia to stop speaking about the training session. She just gotten to talking about changing the location and she didn't want that overheard by the wrong ears.
"What's wrong Sheena, your masking my aura right? Someone still find us anyway. We are pretty out of the way," Maia whispered softly unable to feel an unawakened senshi and not totally sure Sheena's magic did work both ways.
"There a senshi nearby," Sheena said soft causing Maia to give her a confused look before Sheena clarified, "a senshi that hasn't been awakened yet. I've done this before and I can feel whoever it is nearby."
Maia nodded and stood with Sheena still on her shoulder, "Do you know in which direction," she asked softly.
Sheena gave a half nodded and pointed a paw in the general direction of Maryellen. Maia nodded and started toward the bush the Maryellen sat behind calling very gently, "is somebody there? It's okay you know, you can come out. You don't have to be scared."

Maryellen held her breath when they starting whispering to each other, too softly for her to hear. Maybe they knew that she was there. When the girl came over to the bush and started to call out to her, that confirmed the fact they knew that she was there.
She shifted positions behind the bush, and realized that her hand was shaking. Well, she decided, if they were going to hurt her they probably would've done so already. She forced herself to breath out and stop shaking.
Maryellen stepped out from the bush and tentatively took a step forward.
"Who are you?" she said before remembering that it's polite to introduce oneself first. "I'm Maryellen."
She pushed back her bangs from her eyes with a steady hand. "You didn't notice me, but I actually saw you the other day. You beat up this huge blob thing." Maryellen added, looking at the girl.

Maia was surprised to see the girl step out from behind the bush right in from on her, but smiled. "It's nice to meet you Maryellen. I'm Eternal Sailor Maia and this," she motioned to the cat on her shoulder eyeing the girl, "this is Sheena a guardian cat."
Maia found her self blinking before giving a nervous laugh, "ah yes. The thing was making a mess of my favorite training spot and they are in general pretty dangerous to allow to roam around."
Sheena looked to Maia and nodded, "that's her."
Maia gave her a look, "Are you sure," to which Sheena nodded and jumped down.
"I am a senshi," started Maia, "a defender of our city trying to protect it from the threat of the negaverse and the dark mirror senshi who are misguided and twisted by chaos."
Sheena spoke up now, "You are also a senshi. I can give you access to that power, your magic, your destiny."

Eternal Sailor Maia? Sheena the guardian cat? Maryellen thought that those sounded like pretty weird names. However she continued to listen politely, not questioning anything. That is, until they got to the part about her also being a 'senshi'.
"Hold on." Maryellen yelped. "I'm a senshi too?!"
She was confused, but in a way she wasn't. Ever since she had seen Sailor Maia she had known that there would be others, but never in her wildest dreams had she thought that that list included her!
It seemed crazy, but an awesome kind of crazy. Maryellen had never been this excited in her life. She felt like a character in a fantasy novel when they discover that they have magical 'powers'. She had always envied Harry Potter...
"So what exactly do you mean by power, magic and destiny?" she ventured. "Can I sing in the same way I saw Sailor Maia sing?"

Sheena shook her head at the girl's question and Maia decided to let Sheena do most of the answering for she would be the one awakening the new senshi. Maia simply gave the soft smile to the girl that was to become the newest senshi on their side.
"No," Sheena said, "Maia is the senshi of song and you will be the senshi of something else. You will have powers, but they wont be Maia's. You will find out once you power up for the first time."
Sheena sat back on her hunches and looked the girl over really good for a few moments before summoning a pen and cell phone into the air in front of her, catching them on her head and allowing them to slide down her back and onto her tail before holding them up to Elle.
"These are your senshi cell phone and you henshin pen. The cell phone will let you contact senshi that you have met. Maia can teach you to use it. The henshi pen will let you power up and from there your destiny begins."
Sheena looked to Maia and Maia nodded, "We are tasked with defending earth from the forces of chaos. I wont sugar coat it, its not an easy task and you will need training in hand to hand combat and you will need to learn how to defeat youma and about the night life, this war we are fighting, but you will have help and I will make sure you have the resources you need to succeed."
Sheena gave a nod and decided maybe awakening would be easier if she had a senshi around to help her in her explanations.

Maryellen listened intently as Sheena spoke, becoming more excited by the second. She was relieved to know that she had different powers then Maia, since having a group of people with the same powers didn't seem like a very good line of defence.
Maryellen moved toward Maia as she spoke, gaining confidence as she explained her responsibilities. If there was anything she was up for, it was a challenge. As well, she had the support of the other senshi so it seemed like a pretty sweet deal.
She headed back toward Sheena and picked up the henshin pen and cell phone. They seemed like normal items, but Maryellen appreciated their true value. Maryellen knew that she had to keep all of this a secret from her family, especially her mom. She would never hear the end of her worries.
"How do I power up?" she asked as she inspected the pen. Maryellen paused before adding, "And who are the forces of chaos? Who are we protecting from them?"

Sheena grinned happy to have yet another senshi join the white moon court, without the reluctant face and knowing what they were getting themselves into, this one even more that most.
"Hold you pen out and say Auva Power Make-Up, like you mean please or it wont work," Sheena said with a firm nod.
Maia gave her an encouraging nod and smiled, "after you power about I will explain more. Let get you into your fuku ... uh your senshi uniform of sorts."

Maryellen nodded at Sheena and Maia, then took a few steps back to clear some space.
"Auva power make-up!" she yelled.
Suddenly, Maryellen was gone and in her place was Sailor Auva, Senshi of Seaweed. Auva felt the energy from Maia and Sheena rush over her, but that was nothing compared to the energy she sensed beginning to come from herself. She felt powerful and confident, as if nothing could stop her.
Auva looked down at herself, with a grin on her face. Her skirt was a little short for her tastes, but she loved the knee-high boots and bows. One thing she noticed was that there was a lot of seaweed on her outfit. Even her hair was tied with seaweed!
Auva inspected herself a little longer before she asked, "What's with all the seaweed? Is that my power?".

Sheena gave an affirmative nod, "yup. You are Sailor Auva, Senshi of Seaweed and your attacks will reflect you sphere."
Maia grinned and gave an excited smile, "Welcome to the night life. You have quite a journey ahead of you, but I'll be hear to help you along the way. And Sheena too."
Sheena nodded going over to the girl and rubbing against her legs wanting to be petted. She'd done a good job, bringing a new senshi into this world and informing them of there destiny though Maia did a lot of the explaining.
Maia pulled out her phone, sliding it open and scanning Auva in so she would have the girls number, before moving over to show Auva how to do it herself and moving back so Auva could try it on her.
"Now for your earlier questions," the forces of Chaos are the negaverse. There was a newscast on channel six this week where a few of the members slandered us. They will do everything to be rid of senshi, to make us look bad so they can move forward with whatever goals they might have. Allied with them are the Dark Mirror Court, dark senshi with sheers over their outfits, who have a chaos feel to them. The negaverse also have senshi, who have been corrupted to their side. Their telltale signs are mostly black fukus and their starseed on display."
"There will be a lot more explanation to comes. Everything can't be covered in one night. I suggest you find the senshi primer in your senshi phone and read through it. You can text me, to meet me any time and if you would like to meet me during the day as just my normal self that is fine to. I will try to explain everything I can."

Auva smiled when she heard her sphere, she had been hoping her power was seaweed-related. She was a little shocked when Sheena came over and rubbed against her legs, but she was a cat after all. She petted Sheena a couple before Maia came over and showed her how to scan other senshi's for their numbers. Auva tried scanning Maia, then took the beep she got as a confirmation that she had done it right.
She listened to Maia's answer, a bit surprised at how many forces of chaos there were. "So they have the negaverse, the dark mirror court, and corrupt senshi? Alright. No problem. We've got eachother I guess." she babbled.
Auva paced a bit before taking a deep breath and calming down. "Y'know what? This is still pretty awesome. A war isn't exactly what I was hoping for, but I am still a senshi so that's pretty sweet." Auva decided.
She was ready to fight this war, whatever that meant.

Sheena enjoyed the pets, but moved out the way to allow Maia to help Auva with her phone watching and waiting for the girl to finish up before jumping onto Maia's shoulder and settling down there.
Maia have Sheena a scratch while listening to Auva speak, "Don't worry we're not alone. There are a lot of us senshi and we have knights on our side as well. You will meet more of the other's as time goes on, there are more guardian cats too."
Maia smiled felt so full of pride at being able to help a new senshi right from the start. She loved the feeling and would have to thank Sheena later for letting her be apart of it, but the cat jumped down.
"It's getting late Maia, I going to go check on Oberon. I will see you later this week for the training session," she said before running off trusting Maia to take care of Auva even if she would be checking up on the girl from time to time.
Maia looked back to Auva, "It is late. You can help me with a quick patrol if you like and then we can both head home."
