 Life Hunter
BATTLE ARENA
The portal opens up into an observation room, and down the stairs, an odd chamber for something like hunter training. At the center of a piranha-filled pool stands a solid stone table and several chairs. The Life Arena was built underneath the demolitions and ballistics testing areas, and the chamber rumbles with the occasional explosions above. Pinpoint red lasers sweep across the room regularly, as if hidden snipers are searching for a nice target. In the center of the table sits a wooden tower, made up of smaller wooden blocks. Yes. That's right. The Life Hunters prefer to train via Jenga.
Note: Distraction techniques and Yo Momma jokes are considered viable weapons when playing competitively.
If you fail: you have knocked down the tower! A small dart hits the back of your neck. You come to several hours later, and hope Dr. H didn't do anything to your body while you were unconscious. When you look into the mirror...
If you win: you have reached 50 points! You get a sharpie marker to do with as you please. peen points go to those with the highest scores.
Mechanics
- by carefully removing pieces of the tower, you earn points and advance to the next round. As the rounds continue, the odds grow steadily against you. Rolling a 1 at any point means you have knocked down the tower. Please do enjoy your mystery dart. Anything after reaching 50 points is purely for peen.
- you may roll pieces individually (suggested for group play) or in batches of 5 (basically, a full round.)

Bonus Mechanics
Life Hunters train for precise hand eye coordination and exceptional judgement, thus they have a slightly lower chance of knocking down the tower.

Jordan stared at the portal. The portal stared back. Are we really doing this again? Ferros asked grumpily. Clearing all of that sedative out of your system was annoying."Yes, we're really doing this again. Maybe I won't get darted so much this time," Jordan grumbled back.

Al flanked Jordan's side, unaware of any dangers ahead. That was about to change. He beamed proudly as he drew a deep steadying breath and exhaled. "My first like... um... what is this exactly?" He looked to Jordan expectantly.

The unkind impulse not to warn Al about what was actually coming up was brief. "Jenga," Jordan replied, with a bright smile. "Played in a room under the demolitions range, on a small platform surrounded by piranha-infested waters, and if you knock the tower down the snipers on duty will be happy to give you a little help taking a sedative-induced nap."

Al's eagerness remained despite the warning with a light chuckle. Man, Jordan has an amazing sense of humour! "Nice joke man," he flashed a fresh toothy smile at Jordan before looking at Heidi and spreading his smile even bigger. "You ready for Jenga?"

Heidi didn't think jenga was much of a 'training course' until Jordan mentioned pirhana and snipers. Wow. This was happening. At Al's question she put on her best poker face. "Bring it on."

Well, Al would find out soon enough. "Ready enough," Jordan said, and stepped through the portal, heading down into the Jenga room. He seated himself at the table and started setting up the tower; this was the easy part. When he'd gotten it constructed, he leaned back in his chair and waved a hand towards the table. "Ladies first."
A muffled explosion sounded overhead. The room trembled slightly.

Heidi was tempted to make a joke and force Al to go first when Jordan offered ladies first but she refrained. Al got lucky this time. "You weren't kidding about the fish, huh.." Heidi chuckled as she removed her first piece. Something exploded above them and startled the Moon trainee, causing her to knock down the entire tower. She waited.. "So...was that thing about snipers a jo--" she felt a p***k against her neck and quickly collapsed on the table. Status Round: 1 Pieces Taken: 1 Total Points: 1

Al stared at Heidi's unconscious body in startled terror. Then stared at the re-stacked tower in silent horror. This was not good. He gulped hard then verrry carefully removed his first 5 pieces. Completed, he just stared at the wobbling tower in horror. Jordan wasn't joking.

"Nope. Wasn't kidding." Another explosion shook the chamber as Jordan pulled out his fourth piece, as carefully as possible. The tower wobbled, seemed to stabilize ... and fell over. He grimaced with annoyance, then slumped forward over the table as the dart hit him. Status Round: 1Pieces Taken: 3 Total Points: 3

Al looked from one body to the next and suddenly a thought struck him. He could do anything he wanted. This moment was his and his alone... so before returning to his tower he sliiid out of his seat and over to inspect Heidi first, tapping her on the cheek to be sure before rolling her around in her chair and shifting her body and tweeking a few things... and she was sitting again, upside down. Her arms touched the floor and her legs just sprawled limply in the air. Then came Jordan, an evil glint in his eye before he moved over to place his elbows to rest on the table and then switch his hands around until both of Jordan's index fingers were properly crammed up his nostrils. Al quickly scurried back to his seat before they came to and took a picture of each with his cellphone before shifting to sit innocently with a little smile.

The first thing Heidi did when she finally regained consciousness was fall off the chair, her hip hitting the ground hard. She hissed with pain and held her side as she rolled on the floor a bit. Owwww! What the crap?! How did she..what...
She climbed back into her chair with a frown...at least until she caught sight of Jordan. She snorted with laughter and quickly covered her mouth with both hands. "Ohmygod! Did you do that?!" Clever, Al. Clever. Heidi scrambled for her own phone to get a picture.

When Jordan woke up, he found that somebody had thoughtfully arranged him with his fingers up his nose. He extracted them and shot a look at Al, because Heidi had already been out when Jordan had fallen over, so Al was the more probable culprit. Then he noticed that Heidi was awake again, and she had her phone out.
" ... you both took pictures, huh."

"Mmmhmmm..." was all Al said of the matter in response to both questions before resuming upon his own tower. He was careful at first but then as he pulled his 4th piece he felt a little bit cocky. Smirking clear to an ear as he reached for the 5th and- BOOM. Something fired off overhead causing the entire tower to tumble. Al left wide-eyed and staring at the single piece he nearly had in his possession and... Pfft- "Zzzzzzzzzz...." Apparently he was a snorer as he took a nose dive right into his pile of pieces.

Jordan applauded solemnly. Then he glanced over at Heidi. "Time for a little revenge." He got up and carefully sat Al back up in the chair, then took the younger man's hand and arranged it to look like Al was sucking his thumb. Then, of course, he stepped back and took a picture.
