There was a long moment in which there was no answer to the question that Keilana called out, but after a time two girls came into view, hanging upside, starring at Keilana. The two exchanged looks before dropping down onto the branches above and in front of her, starring again before they started to giggle behind their hands, "Hey, hey look! It's a girl come looking for Chaly!" One of them squealed, pointing at Keilana in an excited manner before nudging her twin in the side, obviously amused.

The other girl nodded her head rapidly before crossing her arms over her chest, "Yeah, that is pretty interesting. Been a while since Chaly brought anyone home with him and it's never been a girl." The other one said, giggling too before them exchanged looks, got devious looks on their face, then asked in unison, "Are you Chaly's giiiiirlfriend?" She must be! There was no other reason for her to come looking for him after all. The two of them were instantly breaking into 'kissing in a tree' song in a playful manner, that was until a shadow fell across them that had them both whirling around with a squeak... that was until they saw who it was. Seeing their older brother there the pair set to singing again, dancing around them, squealing and having far too much fun teasing the pair of them.

Chalcedony starred down at the pair of them before he sighed, scooping them up, "I should toss the both of you right out of this tree." He told them, holding them out as though he were going to do just that... until he spotted Keilana below them. He starred at her for a time before he tilted his head to one side, "Eh?" Keilana? What was she doing here he found himself wondering as he lowered the twins back to the wide branch that they were standing on, "Can I help you, Keilana?"

Chal starred at her for a moment, gave her a once over as though to make sure this wasn't another drinking session, before he nodded his head, "Yeah... sure." He said, looking at sisters then, "Reva, Vera, how about the two of you go back up the three and help Mom out, alright? I will be back shortly after I see what Keilana needs... and no, no more singing." He told them, shaking his head at them, then herded them into the higher branches of the tree. There was no way of knowing if they were really leaving or not, the pair could very well be moving to a better vantage point, but at least they were out of sight. It was more then they normally conceded he thought to himself before he hopped down to land in front of Keilana.

After landing there he shifted his new shield onto his back and starred at the Leaf Tribeswoman, not really sure what he should say in greeting. He shifted from foot to foot, debated on it, then said what came to mind first, "It's... been a while." He really wasn't sure what else to say, their last meeting had been a rather strange and eventful one after all, filled with many things that he vowed he was never doing again, drinking being at the very top of that list along with sleeping with the sister of his nemesis, "Ahh... do you want to talk here? Or should we start walking?" At least if they started walking they had a chance of escaping his sisters if they were in fact listening in he thought to himself.

Chalcedony gave paused, lifting his gaze toward the branches of the trees, and found himself more inclined to believed that the twins were right there. He starred for but a moment before giving a shake of his head, he'd deal with them later he thought to himself, a threat that he would never carry out given how soft he was when it came to his siblings. His attention turned away from where he guessed them to be, back to the Leaf Tribeswoman, then watched as she was suddenly walking away after announcing that they would be walking. He blinked a couple times before he followed along after her, wondering what was going on, hoping that she wasn't leading him to her brother so the archer to shoot him in the back or something. It really wasn't as though he were at fault for what happened, not completely, and certainly didn't deserve to be filled with arrows so he was hopeful that wasn't what this was about.

When she was suddenly speaking again, her words coming out in a jumble, he found himself starring somewhat blankly at her, "Umm... huh?" Wait, what? Luckily for him she repeated what she'd said at a slower pace, allowing him to figure out what it was that she was saying, "Oh, yeah. It came along with a raise in rank I was somehow able to achieve recently." Not that he exactly felt like he deserved it but who was he to argue with an elder? Best that he just do his best to get stronger, to the point where he felt as though he were worthy of his rank he thought to himself before giving her a bit of a smile, "Though I doubt that you came out here to talk about my new shield?" What was it that she was doing here? He went over what they had been talking about last time and while he really didn't want to talk about the archer or the one that the archer stole it might be why she was here.

"Are Takoda and your brother bothering you again? I don't see another of those flasks on you so I am guessing you don't want another drinking session with me?" Not something he'd agree to, the last one hadn't ended so well, had it? With them both naked and hung over the next morning on the ground of Jauhar, a rather dangerous thing he'd rather not repeat.

Chal nodded his head, "Yeah, none for me anymore either." He said before he heard her mention how she wasn't supposed to drink right now, something that made him laugh a little, "Probably good if you didn't drink again while in Jauhar, yes, we were lucky not to get ourselves into trouble last time as it was. Best not to chance that sort of thing again." Best that she did that think only where she could be supervised he thought to himself, preferably away from Jauhar since the place was one that was a bit too dangerous to be drinking in.

"Eh? Oh, well it really isn't any of his business. It was a drunken mistake on our part and if he wants to come here throwing his weight around I will knock his head off his shoulders..." He paused, lifted a hand to his mouth to cover a cough, before he said, "Ahh... no offense." He couldn't stand the guy and given what time had passed already since that night and now, it really was too long ago. If that idiot came around now then Chal saw no reason why he shouldn't shield bash him upside the head. The further that guy was from Jauhar the better, the more distance between them the better, he just... didn't like him. At all.

Giving Keilana the best smile he could muster he said, "I won't go looking for a fight with either, if that is part of what you are worried about. So long as he stays away from me everything should be fine."

Chal starred for a long moment as she spoke, wondering why she was so concerned about hiding it from him... but given how the guy was he would probably flip out over it more because it was Chal then just because Keilana had done such a thing. He really did have to question what it was that she meant about something being 'wrong with her'. He shifted in place a moment, "What is it that is wrong with you?" He asked, wondering if she was worrying herself sick because of her brother and what it was that he might think of her? He knew that he fretted a lot over his siblings and the archer was probably the same. It was likely the only thing about him that Chal had in common with him but it wasn't something he wanted to think about for more then just a moment.

When Keilana spoke up again, telling him that her brother wasn't going to come after Chal because of what they'd done but what had come of what they did, he was back to starring. What came of what they did? As she pointed at her stomach, and the bump there, nothing seemed to really click at first. It was as though the gears in thoughts were standing still for the longest moment before they started to slowly grind their way forward, then something seemed to click. Were it not for the fact that he had a half a dozen siblings he likely would have never gotten it but how often had he seen his mother in such a condition? First with the twins, then Luis, Isa, and now the baby she was currently heavy with... he blinked a couple times, mouth opening and closing, looking a bit like a fish out of water.

Wait, wait... that couldn't be right... but... well, it made sense... it wasn't like he was so oblivious that he didn't know where babies came from. So... then she... and he...? Well, he supposed that he could understand if the archer wanted to come after him and kill him for that one, he was sure he'd do the same were it one of his sisters. Turning to look over at her he asked, "Ahhh... what do you need me to do?" He asked, then followed up with, "I mean... you will let me help and see the baby and stuff, right?" The idea that she might not had him worried, what if her idiot brother wouldn't let him? Well, he supposed he'd definitely have to take another swing at him... though that might make things even more awkward then they already were given everything and everyone who was involved or who would be involved.

She didn't know what he could do? Neither did he, not really, probably the only people useful to her at the moment would be her brother because he was her brother and probably Takoda because he was a healer. Other then that what did she really need? Still, it felt like the right thing to do to offer to help her. When she said that she wasn't going to keep him away he felt relieved, though maybe a little lightheaded. It was strange, to find out this sort of thing, it was blindsiding for sure, but he couldn't really say anything, could he? Surely she had it worse then he did, she had to carry the child after all, and she had to deal with that idiot brother of hers... though he supposed she must not be dealing wit him quite yet since it seemed like she was coming here first. That was a nice feeling, to be told before the archer was, it gave him a heads up that was for sure, he would be able to do his best to avoid the guy at all costs until he better knew how he should go about dealing with him.

For a moment he found his thoughts moving to Takoda, what he would think of all of this, about Keilana being in this condition, about Chal being the one that put her in this condition, about many things. He shoved the thought aside, not wanting to think about it. Takoda wasn't one that he tried to spend too much time thinking on after all. Best to focus on more important things, the hear and now, and the fact that Keilana seemed to want to perch on a rock instead of going somewhere far safer which was up into the trees were few predators seemed to be. While not completely safe it was still better then on the ground... but it seemed as though she wasn't moving and he knew how impossible it was to make a woman in that condition do anything she didn't want to do.

Climbing down from the branches he'd been perched on the walked over to the rock, sitting down on it, and then looked up toward the tree, "I can understand you wanting to stay down here but I can assure you it's not so bad up there. My mother is currently in the same condition as you and the size of a Mammu, and she is maneuvering alright... though don't tell her I said that, she might strangle me for the comparison."

"Well, it's only right that I am around, it's mine after all and I am not so much of a wuss that I would try to run off." He said, shifting in place before adding, "While it's not exactly the ideal situation I had hoped one day to maybe have kids so... it works out, it's just a little earlier then I would have planned it is all." No reason to run from something that he would have wanted in the future after all, it was a little sooner then expected and not with the one he'd expected it to be with, but still, a child was a gift, right? One that he would gratefully receive since she wanted him to be a part of this. It made sense, if she wasn't interested in him being around or being a part of the child's life she never had to tell him. Being as far away as he was he would never have known what was going on with her and the child were she to have decided to go it alone.

Chal turned to look Keilana over for a quiet moment before nodding his head, "Probably for the best." He murmured, figuring that she wasn't exactly the most graceful up in the trees before she ended up in this condition. Best that she didn't try to learn to move about in the trees now since it likely wasn't good for her or the child that she was carrying he thought to himself, not adding that since she looked fit to kill as it was. Best to not give her any more reasons to want to murder him he thought to himself, before he looked up into the trees in the direction of home. Thinking on it, especially what he was going to do next, he realized that he was going to have to let his family know, huh? What were they going to think? His parents especially... he doubted it was going to go over all that well.

Dragged forth from his thoughts as Takoda was brought up Chal couldn't help but to give the slightest flinch before he shook his head, "I... don't know. I can't exactly see how I would go about that conversation, I haven't talked to him since we parted ways in Zena after I got in a fist fight with your brother over him." He really had no idea how to even approach him at this point, part of him not really wanting to, and it would just be made worse given the subject. Would it be cowardly of him to ask her to do it? Or would it be more prudent? If she told them both at the same time Takoda might be able to help Keilana stop the archer from killing him after all... or he might end up wanting to help in which case Kei would be out numbered.

He shook his head, "I really don't know." He said, giving a half shrug before asking, "Who else knows?" Not her brother, that much was clear, but did anyone else know? Anyone he should be looking out for? He wasn't sure how close knit her family and tribe were or if any other them aside from her brother might have it out for him due to this little accident.
