Step One: Read the Rules

So you're brand new and you have no idea what to do. Well, most guilds have a handy little thing called Rules to let you know what you may and may not do in their guild. Those guilds usually have you look them over before you make a character for the first time. So do we.

Step Two: Finish Up Reading This!

I know you're excited to start, but please. I didn't sit here and make this thread so it could be ignored. There's plenty more useful information to come, so you should definitely finish reading.

Step Three: Create your Character

You may now click the New Topic button and start work on your own character. When you do so, you'll make a new thread and you should title with your character's name. If you think that it'll take longer than your current session to finish typing them up, mark it as U/C.
Once you've done that, feel free to get creative. Come up with an amazing character that isn't a Mary Sue or complete rip off of a pre-existing character. There is nothing more annoying than a character who thinks that they're the best at everything or a character displaced from their universe (think Harry Potter in Twilight's Forks).
Other than that, you're basically free. We don't force you to use a roleplaying skeleton, but we do have required information that you'll see in the next post.

Step Four: Review

Everyone makes mistakes. We're not robots here, I promise! Make sure that you've read over your profile before hitting submit. Who knows, you might be able to catch an error.

Step Five: Get Accepted

Once you've finished, wait for a crew member to come review your profile. This can take up to three days. If it takes longer, feel free to nicely PM a crew member. The crew member will then look over your profile and make sure that everything that needs to be there is indeed there. If they find any issues with your profile, they will mark it as "Needs Editing." You must then follow the directions they have given you. Once you have gotten your profile to our standards, we will mark it as "Accepted." You may then start roleplaying in the guild.
