Whatever someone needs done, Kairi will try her best to help. Whether it be cooking, cleaning, tending to injured Pokemon, or helping tutor a lost student. Kairi will do her best to help out.

xxxxxxxx Kairi is a hard worker and considers herself to be incredibly bright, seeing as she is a teacher of battle strategy. The woman works hard to teacher her students, and even studies herself when she cannot figure something out. Kairi loves to learn and wants to become an expert in anything Pokemon related, especially Dragons. She is incredibly punctual and everything is always neat and in order, so if you need to find something, you will always be able to find it neatly in its place.

xxxxxxxx Even though Kari loves to help out, there is a limit to her kindness. Whenever she feels like someone is taking advantage of her, she will snap and end up losing it. There are very few things that will make Kairi lose her temper, but when she does it takes quite a bit to calm her down. The woman is a tad OCD about her things as well. Kairi doesn't like for her things to be messed with without her permission, and she hates for her room/office to be messy.

xxxxxxxx There are times when Kairi doesn't know when to stop working or reading. Whenever she finds out something new either about Dragons, thinks of another strategy, or is reading a new book; Kairi will continue to work until everything is understood, recorded, and finished. Because of this habit, she forgets to sleep and eat. Whenever Kairi is in one of the long work crazes, she needs someone to come and snap her out of it, seeing as she will push herself to exhaustion.

▌￤RELATIONSHIP
Kairi was six when her mother gave her Mana, who was an Eevee at the time, because of her adventurous nature. Her parents knew they couldn't stop her from exploring, so Mana was there to keep the young Kairi safe. The two quickly bonded and were inseparable. The two even started adventuring even farther away from home, but always made sure to be home by supper. During one of these adventures, when Kairi was eight, Kairi decided to try and jump the ledges south of home. As she was jumping one of them, trying to land on what she believed was a boulder, a Graveler turned around, knocking Kairi into the quick stream below. Mana dove in and pulled Kairi to a ledge, while she called out, trying to catch anyone's attention. The two were saved by a hiker and brought back home. So not only is Mana Kairi's best friend she is also her own rescuer. When Kairi was ten, the two set out on their own adventure, where Mana evolved into the lovely Espeon in the lovely dawn light. Though the two were close from a young age, their journey made their bond even stronger, and Mana will do anything in order to protect Kairi.
▌￤OTHER;
: Mana is fiercely loyal and protective of Kairi. Whenever someone comes around her, Mana will watch the person closely. Though Mana isn't the oldest in the group, she still likes to think that she leads the others with her smart and wise decisions. She is almost as bad as Kairi is when it comes to battle strategies. The pair can be found sitting in the same spot for hours while thinking about them. Call it an obsession if you will, but the two like to think things through before acting. Mana is the brains of the group and will try to help her fellow Pokemon make the right decisions, and try to help them with their battle strategy. While Kairi is teaching her students, Espeon is talking with the students' Pokemon, trying to help them better protect their weaknesses, and find ways to counterattack while in battles with the teachers.

Shizuka was the second Pokemon that Kairi caught while on her journey. Mana and herself were settling down for the night, when Kairi felt like something was watching her. During the night, Shizuka was caught by Mana stealing berries out of Kairi's bag, and quickly started attacking. Waking up to the sound of booming thunder and the bright light of lightning, a little dazed and confused, Kairi started the battle. Getting the Luxray down to a weakened state, Kairi pulled out the Pokeball to capture him, but Shizuka ran off before she threw it. Disappointed that she missed her chance, Kairi and Mana quickly became determined to catch this stubborn Pokemon. The next morning, the two packed up and started continuing, only to find that Shizuka was following them, and stealing more berries at night. One night, Kairi pretended to fall asleep and waited for him to return, and when he returned, Kairi slowly woke up and offered Shizuka some more filling food other than the berries. It was obvious he didn't trust her, but Kairi slowly started to gain his trust. One morning they were getting ready to leave, when Kairi dropped a Pokeball. Getting ready to grab it, Shizuka found a way to pop it open, and let himself be caught.
▌￤OTHER;
: Shizuka has extreme trust issues. Before meeting Kairi, he was actually abandoned when he was a small Shinx. His trainer was a mean and rowdy teenager, that would refuse to heal and feed him if they had lost a battle. It was during one of these battles that Shizuka was left for dead and a kind Pokemon Nurse found him by chance. As soon as he woke up, Shizuka ran off and never looked back. Shizuka would rather be anti-social and stay away from other trainers, seeing as last time another trainer got to close and Shizuka bit them. He does like being around the group in small doses, depending on his mood, and he enjoys sun bathing quietly with Mana on their days off. Shizuka is the most stubborn out of the group, and is quick to attack if he believes someone is either hurting Kairi or another in the group.

Kairi caught Nox when she was sixteen, right before challenging a ghost type gym. Walking into the darkest parts of the forest, Kairi found a pack of Houndours playing. Kairi thought it was entirely too cute for words, and seeing as she not only needed a dark type but a fire type as well, she decided that it would be the perfect Pokemon. Walking closer to them, they quickly scampered away all except one, who quickly attacked himself to her ankle. Little Nox wasn't happy that she had interrupted playtime, and to show her how he felt, he bit her. Of course, Shizuka didn't take it too well, and forced himself out of his pokeball to leach Nox a lesson. Kairi watched as Nox singed and almost burned all of Shizuka's fur off, while Nox tired to dodge all of the thunder. In order to stop the fight, Kairi captured Nox while he was distracted. In the beginning, their relationship was a little hectic, and it took Kairi a couple of months of training the unruly and stubborn Nox before even going back to challenge the gym. The pair had eventually found a common ground, and Nox secretly admired Kairi. After all the time he had bitten and burned her, Kairi never lost her temper, struck him, and didn't release him back into the wild. Before battling the Gym Leader, Nox evolved, and the two easily dominated him. Earning the badge, the two left and have been together ever since!
▌￤OTHER;
: Nox is quick to anger and the last to say that he is sorry. He hated to loose at anything will keep going until he wins. Nox likes to think he is the boss of everyone and will try to make the decisions, which leads into a battle of wits with Mana. Whenever he looses, Shizuka will step in to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid. Nox and Shizuka have more of an understanding than a friendship. As long as the two doesn't piss the other off, they get along beautifully. They also see each other as rivals, and though they never start fights, they do like to challenge and test each other. Even though Nox is a hot head, he is loyal and kind. He wants to be the tough guy of the group, wanting to be as big as Ciel in order to protect everyone that he cares about. Nos is also fiercely protective of Chikyu, and can be found babying and playing with her.

Nami was actually a rescue. Literally. Kairi was strolling the beaches of the Seafoam Islands, hunting for the legendary Luigia. As she was searching, she heard Nami crying out, and Kairi found the poor creature tangled and caught up in a knotted mess of fishing nets. After two long hours of cutting away the nets, Nami was free and Kairi earned a life long friend. Nami even took Kairi in the caves that Luigia was often found out, but he was nowhere to be found. However, they found a single silver feather, and with that in hand, the two left. Nami and Kairi are treasure hunting and singing buddies. They have even performed for small crowds, however, most of the time Nami ends up putting people to sleep without even realizing it.
▌￤OTHER;
: Nami is incredibly kind and caring, often doting on the others. She is like the mother of the group, trying to take care of everyone, trying to heal their wounds, and is often fussing at Nox for his foolish behavior. She is extremely motherly, and will do whatever she can to make everyone is happy, healthy, and safe. Nami loves to sing (even if her audience falls asleep), and tries her best not to let that happen. Whenever her and Kairi have free time, the two like to go out to the ocean and search for treasures.

Little Chikyu is the youngest out of the group, as well as the newest. Kairi was getting ready to apply to work at the school after beating the Elite Four, and little Chikyu ran into Kairi. The young Cubone was trying to get away from a scary Biker that wanted to catch her, and not only did the man's appearance scare her, but the sound of his motorcycle did as well. So as Kairi was making her way to the school, Chikyu ran into her and latched onto her leg, refusing to let go. When Kairi realized what was going on, she told the Biker that Chikyu already belonged to her, and sent the man on his way. At the time, Kairi was already carrying six Pokemon with her, but seeing the tears in little Chikyu's eyes, the woman couldn't help but cuddle her. Sending her Dragonair back home, Kairi keeps little Chikyu with her at all times now. Chikyu is the baby of the group, quite literally. Loud noises and scary people frighten the poor thing, and Chikyu goes running to the nearest companion. The relationship between Kairi and Chikyu is like mother and daughter, seeing as Chikyu never wants Kairi out of her sight, and will hang out to her leg if she thinks she is going somewhere.
▌￤OTHER;
: Though Chikyu is a baby and doesn't particularly care for violence, she is pretty strong for her small stature. She is very proud of her mask and especially her bone, and will try to impress others with her Bonemerang attack. Chikyu desperately wants to be tough like Nox and Ciel, and is trying her best to conquer her fears. However, she would rather be playing with Nox or Nami, or flying with Ciel. Chikyu is more of a companion rather than a battler, but she will go into battle is she thinks it will help Kairi win. She doesn't like to be in her pokeball for long, and at night she has to have a night light in order to sleep.

Ciel was the last Pokemon Kairi caught before challenging the Elite Four. Kairi had wanted an dragon type that was as determined as herself, and would fight no matter what the odds. Walking through the caves of Victory Road, Kairi heard the loud roars echo throughout, as loose rocks and dirt showered her. Running to the source, Kairi found Ciel battling an Ice type Pokemon. Even though dragons were weak against ice, Kairi watched with wide eyes as Ciel found strategically. After the Ice type gave up, Kairi approached Ciel and asked of he wanted to come on her journey with her. Ciel was rather impressed that Kairi approached him, rather asking then just capturing him like all the others, and he accepted her offer. Kairi respects Ciel not only because of his age, but his intelligence and his will to fight no matter what the odds are.
▌￤OTHER;
: Ciel is the biggest, oldest, and strongest out of the group, but he is also the biggest softie. Whenever he is not battling, Ciel is playing with Chikyu or other young Pokemon, even taking them up to go flying with him. He is definitely the father figure of the group. Ciel enjoys having conversations with Mana, and enjoys playing puzzles or games of wits with her. However, the dragon would rather be up in the sky flying. That is where he is happiest at. Ciel is loyal and incredibly brave, willing to fight and protect no matter what. He is most definitely the protector of the group and doesn't care to show what he is made of if he must.

After arriving at the school, after a short swim, the young woman released all her pokemon and then had a small picinic with her team. As her little Chikyu sat in her lap, happily nibbling a berry, Kairi looked out to the ocean and watched Nami swim happily before diving deep into the deep blue waters. The Lapras was more than likely trying to find something old and shiny to bring back her trainer, or was possibly hunting for a small snack. Either way, Kairi was happy that Nami was enjoying herself. Kairi hated to keep her in the lake surrounding the Blackthorn City gym. Even though it was a fairly large lake, Kairi knew that she was used to large bodies of water. Snapping out of her thoughts when she felt Nox nudge her arm, Kairi smiled gently and handed him another treat before packing up her bag. "Is everyone full? We need to get back to our dorm and get ready for the festivial tonight, and maybe if we are lucky we can find Kagami. Mom wanted to make sure he recieved his care package." Dusting the back of her short off, the young woman started walking, laughing softly as Noxe leaned against her as they walked, almost begging for attention, until Shizuka came up behind him. The Luxray growled softly before sending the Houndoom a little shock, causing the dark/fire type to jump and bark angrily at him.
Stopping and putting her Cubone on Ciel's board back, Kairi stood inbetween the two competive males. "Stop you two! Shizuka you need to stop being so jealous and Nox, you shouldn't fall for his teasing. Now I want you both to behave yourselves or I will put you both back into your pokeballs, and you will miss the entire festivial! Have I made myself clear boys?" Watching them both drop and nod their heads, Kairi ran a hand along their heads and smiled gently. "Good now lets head to our dorm." Starting the walk back to the teacher dorms, Kairi stopped when she noticed a head full of red hair. Narrowing her eyes and realizing who it was, Kairi nibbled her bottom lip. Normally she would talk to other returning students or other teachers, but seeing as this was Hotaru... She had learned her first year, which was last year, that the man did NOT like to socialize or have any sort of conversations. This semester... She was determined not to irritate the man. So instead of approaching the man, Kairi gave him a wave and continued on her walk. Kairi was going to make sure that she wouldn't be on Hotaru's bad side.
As they walked, the young woman started to sing, smiling as Chikyu waved her arms and cried out happily. Shizuka and Nox even ceased their soft growling to listen to their trainer sing, relaxing to the soft melody as Mana gave soft cries to add to the tune. It was times like this that Kairi loved most and she had intended to keep the moment going, but it was soon ended by Shizuka's intense growling. Turning to see what was wrong with the Luxray, Kairi found herself staring straight at Hotaru with a wiggling Totodile in his arms. Watching Hotaru doubled over, trying to catch his breath as the rest of his team joined him. Feeling a blush creep onto her cheeks as the man threw his jacket to the ground, Kairi quickly averted her eyes and waited for him to right his self. Sea-green eyes looked over at him when she registered his voice, the young woman was about to open her mouth when Shizuka growled once more as electric sparks came off from the ruff of his neck. "Shizuka calm down... Everything is alright." Placing a hand on his head, Kairi gave Hotaru an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry about him.. he is just over protective." However, she was grateful that he caught the little water pokemon before he pounced her. Shizuka would have threw a fit and would have attacked the Totodile.
"I am glad you caught him... I wouldn't have minded the biting but Shizuka would have.." Giving him a warm smile, the Strategy teacher, rubbed her arm, trying to make sure that she didn't ramble on. The young woman was actually trying to find way to make this conversation short so she didn't annoy him, but he had surprised when he didn't walk away. Blue-greens watched him curiously as he started to smoke, relaxing in process. Why hadn't he walked away yet? This was not his usual behavior. Why last year, he would just shrug his shoulders and keep moving...
The silence between them was almost deafening, but it wasn't all that bad. She could hear the waves gently crashing down on the ocean and the wind rustling the fields. This peace was nice but it wasn't going to last long. No... not with all the students that would be running around and exploring every day. Hearing Hotaru speak surprised her once more, and she looked back at him. When did she arrive? Technically she had arrived last week but had to be called home almost as soon as she arrived. Her Dragonair at home had come down with some illness and they were afraid that she would be terminally ill, of course when Kairi arrived though she had pulled through and was lazying her days by laying out in the sun. The Dragonair had done it on purpose! However Hotaru didn't need to know any of this, now did he? "I arrived about thirty minutes ago. I thought I would have a quick swim before heading to my dorm. How about you? Have you been here long Hotaru?" What was she doing? Hotaru didn't like small talk but yet here she was, trying to start a conversation. Maybe she can find a way to end this so she didn't get on Hotaru's nerves... but it was rude to just walk away..
It wouldn't hurt to talk to him for a few minutes, and then she would find a polite way to end the conversation. After that, she would go to her dorm, freshen up, and then go to the festival tonight. It was going to be a good year... she just knew it.

xxxxxxxx Rainier is an orphan. The baby was found at a temple in Ecrutreak City, which is what is now known as the Burned Tower, and was taken in. The man was raised not only with the sages but also by the famous Kimono Dancers. Being an orphan, it made Rainier value family and friends, and he is very loyal to those he deems special. He was raised to take pride in a hard day's work, and is incredibly hard-working, making sure that everything is completely perfect before stopping. Rainier is a helpful person and is willing to help other's out... to a degree. After a time, he will stop helping.

xxxxxxxx Being raised by many different people and seeing so many tourists in his city, Rainier is incredibly outgoing and is able to fit in with any social clique. His ability to socialize and understand/read people are quite extraordinary and he prides himself on being such a people person. Rainier considers himself to be an excellent teacher and loves to make the learning experience more fun and enjoyable for his students. He isn't afraid to act like a kid around them and will crack a joke or two. Rainier can also be the life of the party when he is off duty, and prides himself on making someone's day.

xxxxxxxx Even though Rainier appear to always be in a good mood, some days he isn't, and those are the days one needs to watch what they say or do. It's on these days that Rainier would be perfectly content to watch the world burn and to give everyone the bird while he sat back, drinking a glass of water. He can be incredibly moody and ready to verbally abuse anyone if they give him the wrong attitude.

xxxxxxxx Outgoing and friendly as he may be, Rainier is a bit of a playboy who doesn't like to share. Rainier isn't looking for anything sort of commitment/relationship with anyone, which can make him a quite a cool person. Even though he has no real attachment to his sex friends (trust me there is a lot of them), he is incredibly jealous and doesn't like for others to play with them. Underneath that handsome smile and those beautiful crystal eyes, there lies a dark, twisted side that sometimes likes to come out to play. Especially when drunk.

Rainier met Shadow when he was five while playing in the Burned Tower. After helping out with his morning chores, young Rainier loved to go to the local but mysterious gym to watch all the battles. It always made him long to be a "big kid" and have his own adventures with pokemon. One morning after helping the Kimono Dancers clean their studio, Rainier ran out to the tower to play. Running around the place without a car in the world, the young boy tripped and started to cry. After he finished crying, he rubbed his eyes and opened them to see a Ghastly floating and watching him curiously. Smiling at him, the two suddenly began to play until it was time for Rainier to go back home. For years the two played together and eventually Shadow started to follow Rainier home. The two were inseparable. Ever since then, the two have always been together, and have faced many different challenges.
▌￤OTHER;
: Unlike other Gengar, Shadow isn't much of a prankster. He would rather make other people laugh with goofy faces than make someone cry with a cruel joke. Shadow is the joker of the group, making sure that the other pokemon are never frowning. He does enjoy following Kaj around, trying to make the Tryanitar crack a smile seeing as he is always frowning. however, just because the Gengar seems like a pushover, he is far from it. If he thinks that someone is bothering or hurting Rainier, he will not hesitate to put them to sleep and give them the worse nightmare possible. It's best to always stay on this pokemon's good side, seeing as the last person he gave a nightmare to wet the bed.

Maysa was actually given to Rainier when he was ten. Rainier was traveling with one of the sages when they walked by the Daycare Center. Running over to the fence to see all the other pokemon running around and playing, Rainier noticed Maysa laying all by herself, as far away as possible from the other pokemon. Pulling on the sage's robes and pointing her out, Rainier asked if she was sick before becoming worried, and hopping the fence. Running over to her and sitting down beside her, Rainier put a hand on her paw and started talking to her. When the Sage finally got the Daycare Man out to gather the young boy, the older man was surprised to see Maysa in a much better mood. Going back inside, Rainier found out that Maysa had been left by her trainer after taking her two babies. The poor girl had been at the Daycare for almost six years, and the Daycare Man was becoming worried about her, seeing as with every year that passed, the more reclusive she became. Hearing the Pokemon bark and look through the window, the elderly man decided that Maysa should leave with Rainier. Smiling brightly and thanking the man, Rainier ran outside to tell her the good news, which he was rewarded with a wet, sloppy kiss, and a ride on her back. These two share a mother-son relationship, seeing as Rainier was an orphan and Maysa was left childless. The Arcanine keeps a close eye on her trainer, even when he's left stumbling around drunk.
▌￤OTHER;
: Being the only female in the group, Maysa tends to get more attention (besides Toshiro). She loves to be brushed and prefers to sleep right next to Rainier's bed so she can watch over him. Even though she never had the chance to raise her pups, she is an excellent mother and sees Toshiro as her baby. She is definitely the most protective one out of the group, and she doesn't hesitate to bite whenever she feels threatened.

Kaj the Terrible Tyranitar... isn't so terrible now, but in the beginning, he was horrible to deal with. Rainier was exploring the rest of Johto when he came across one city that spoke of the terrible pokemon that guarded the mountains. Of course this just piqued Rainier's curiosity and the young man went exploring. Just about when he was ready to give up, thinking it was nothing but a load of bull, Rainier tripped on the sleeping Kaj's tail. What happened next was not pretty. The pokemon woke up with a loud, irritated roar before the small earthquakes began. Knowing that it was better to leave, Rainier ran (not wanting to die) and went back to the city, rethinking his game plan. After a week of planning, Rainier went back having Maysa dig a deep hole before covering it. Going back and waking the Tyranitar back up, Rainier let the pokemon chase him all the way until Kaj fell into Maysa's hole. Knowing that he was bested, Kaj decided, rather grumpily, to let Rainier catch him. Rainier has had a hard time "taming" the pokemon, and after three years of catching Kaj, Rainier finally had him at a friendlier level.
▌￤OTHER;
: Kaj is definitely the "grumpy" one out of the group, and though he acts like he is a total bad a**, he does have a soft spot... that he rarely shows and even then its only to small pokemon. Like Toshiro. Most of the times he is silent and looks angry, even though he really isn't. The Tyranitar likes to scare people to make them not want to try and hurt the rest of the group.

Rainier considers himself very lucky to find the shiny Greninja. After hearing about the newly discovered pokemon, Rainier made a rather quick journey to the Kalos region. Exploring the cities and seeing so many different pokemon made Rainier rather excited, and the man became determined to catch at least one of these new pokemon to bring back home. So how did the man find Yiska? To this day, Rainier doesn't really like to tell the story because it's rather embarrassing, but this is what happened. Being the social butterfly that he is, Rainier quickly made friends and lots of them. After a night of partying, and getting completely wasted, Rainier was dared that he couldn't swim out to a small island. Seeing as his pride was at stake, the man stripped naked and started swimming. Waking up with the sun in his eyes and naked, Rainier looked up to see a pokemon watching him from the water. Turns out that halfway to the island, Rainier passed out and started to sink. Yiska caught Rainier and brought him to the island, and watched over him then eventually took him back to the island where his other pokemon were left. Getting back to the city, Rainier asked Yiska for a battle and that if he won, he had to come with him. Winning the battle, Yiska came back to Ecrutreak City.
▌￤OTHER;
: Yiska is silent and swift even out of water, and likes to sneak up on Kaj just to scare him. The Greninja enjoys training and enjoys listening to music with Rainier while he meditates or simply relaxes on their days off. He does like to play with Toshiro and will take him swimming whenever the Togepi asks him to go. He is the ultimate secret keeper as well, and whatever you tell the pokemon you can rely on him to not tell anyone else.

After returning from the Kalos Region, Rainier went back home to find that the tower that he had grown up in had burned down. Heartbroken and exploring the burned down remains, Rainier heard a soft cry. Walking over towards some of the charred trees, the man found a nest that had fallen and inside this barely burned nest was a small Murkrow. Taking the bird to the Pokemon Center, they all had small hopes for the pokemon, but after a couple of days, the Murkrow became stronger, and eventually became healthy again. Taking Horus home, Rainier made sure that he was perfectly fine before taking him back out to the wild to release him. However, Horus refused to leave and went back inside of his pokeball, making Rainier smile and take him back home. Taking a few months off of exploring, Rainier soon set out with Horus and the two have been to all of the other regions, learning and seeing so many new things. Horus looks up and respects Rainier greatly, seeing as the man saved his life.
▌￤OTHER;
: The Honchkrow absolutely loves books. Whenever he wants to hear a story, he will go find a book and put it in Rainier's lap, making the man read to him. Horus loves the sounds of Rainier's voice and it does help calm him down when someone ruffles his feathers. Besides his love for books, Horus loves shiny things. It has been common for the bird to fly off and come back with gold nuggets, shiny stones, refusing to share any of them.

Toshiro was actually a birthday present. After rescuing Maysa from the Daycare, Rainier often went back to help the elderly couple with the more rambunctious pokemon. Whenever he was older and was actually able to start his own pokemon journey, with the prize money he earned, he donated almost half to the Daycare Center, or bought food or whatever items that they needed. Rainier was considered to be the grandchild that the couple never had, and with every birthday, no matter where he was, he would receive a small gift. Deciding to take a break on his journey for his Twenty-fifth birthday, Rainier returned home to find a surprise party waiting for him. After celebrating and cutting the cake, Rainier found the egg nestled in soft blankets. The elderly couple knew that they weren't able to raise a baby pokemon, and decided that Rainier should have the egg, hoping that whatever was inside would help him on his journey. When the egg finally hatched and Toshiro looked up at him with loving eyes, Rainier has developed a huge soft spot and dotes on the baby pokemon. Toshiro does see Rainier as his "daddy" and whenever he is upset, he will cry until Rainier picks him up to cuddle.
▌￤OTHER;
: Being the baby has its quirks, and little Toshiro knows it. All the affection, attention, and love that he receives not only from Rainier, but the rest of the team (Kaj dotes on him privately), Toshiro loves it. The little Togepi absolutely loves sweets, cuddling, and making new friends. Toshiro isn't really a pokemon for battle though, he is more of Rainier's companion and child, whenever Maysa isn't hogging Toshiro to herself that is. Whenever he is scared or frightened, one might want to find earplugs. Whenever the little baby cries, he lets out a shrill, ear deafening wail, that makes everyone come running. If one is lucky enough to outrun Kaj, you better count your blessing but you still have three other pokemon and one very over-protective "daddy" to deal with.

Watching this young man interact with his pokemon was... what was the right word to describe the scene laying out in front of him? Hilarious? Outrageous? Entertaining? All of the above? A grin played on his lips as he watched the boy's pokemon growl and try to scare him with frightening glares, and it could have possibly worked if Rainier had not come across the rather large dinosaur, now know as Tasuki. However, the Arbok that seemed to look over him and his pokemon seemed like he would sink his fangs into him anytime he wished, which wouldn't be very good... He'd hate for Gengar to go into his "bad Nightmare mood". Shadow had been very good about keeping calm and remaining happy, and it had been years since he had last done that. Hearing his question, Rainier opened his mouth to speak but was quickly interrupted by the loud roar of the Tyrantrum. The interaction between Kagami and Tasuki was even funnier and Rainier had a hard time holding back the laugh that threatened to spill from his lips. It seems like the young man had a hard time controlling his pokemon... well the Tyrantrum at least. It appeared that the two had more of an understanding than anything. Which was understandable.. Some days that is all Rainier had with his Kaj. Who was probably rather upset about being abruptly recalled to his pokeball. It made Rainier would if he should just keep him in there until tomorrow... He could deal with his attitude later.
Leaning to the side to watch Tasuki run off, with what sounded like laughter, Rainier straightened himself and smiled as he watched the little Axew bounce happily on the bed. Well at least one of his pokemon seemed to be happy. The rest, including Kagami, seemed to be moody and to uptight. Especially the teen. That was a kid that needed to learn how to loosen up and relax. Maybe going to school and hanging out with kids his own age would help him open up. It seemed like this kid only had his pokemon to keep him company which was... lonely. Not that hanging out with pokemon was a bad thing, but human interaction was something humans needed. Feeling eyes on him, Rainier snapped back into the real world and waved Shadow back as the Arbok and student approached him. My what a mouth this one had on him! All cuss words and no respect! This boy was definitely in need of taming and Rainier wanted to be the man to do that very thing. "I am Rainier Aldrich. Teacher of catching wild pokemon and riding, surfing, and flying. I do hope that you will be attending one of my classes? I can promise that they will be quite a lot of fun." Giving him a charming smile, Rainier looked over his posture. He was still quite tense.. that wasn't good. To much tension could cause knots and aches in one's muscles. "And who might you be young man? Seeing as I have never seen you here before, I'm assuming that you are a new student. Congrats on getting in."
Feeling Shadow pat on his leg, Rainier looked down at him with a smile and bent down to pat his head. The Gengar was right.. they did need to get to the dorm and check on everyone else. He was sure that Toshiro was upset about not getting to play with his new friend. "Again, sorry for the little mishap early but if you wish to be free of your Axew, then I have no problems having him over to play with Toshiro. My Maysa would be more than happy to look over them both. I will see you at the festival tonight." Giving Kagami one more look over, Rainier walked out of the room with Shadow and Yiska following silently behind him. As they walked out of the building, Rainier could feel the disapproving stares of both of his pokemon which made him scoff. "I'm merely curious is all. I plan on keeping my hands to myself so you both have no need to worry." Turning to see both of the pokemon roll their eyes, Rainier crossed his arms over his chest and made it back to his dorm. Seeing that his Togepi was perfectly content playing with Maysa, who was relieved to see Rainier unharmed, and a rather irritated Horus who had been waiting forever for his treat. Giving the bird pokemon what he wanted, Rainier ran a hand down his feathers before looking at him. "I'm going to go out for a walk, you guys can relax here for a while until it is time for the festival to start." Walking out with Horus and Shadow following him, the boys walked out to the fields, hearing a rather familiar voice.
Walking towards the source, Rainier watched with amusement as she separated her pokemon. "Having issues are we Headmaster?" Giving her a devilish grin, he walked down to greet her as Horus landed by his side. Rika was quite the amazing woman, and could out drink anyone he had ever met. If Rainier was a straight man, he would more than likely go after this woman, if she allowed it of course. Rika was the type of woman to kick your a** if you angered her. However, he was as straight as a circle and at the moment, his attention was directed towards a fiery red head. "So are you ready for the school year? I've run into quite a few interesting students so far. I do have a feeling its going to be quite an interesting year.." It would be interesting alright. Trying to tame his wild red head was going to be the hardest thing he had ever done, and he was sure that Kagami was going to bite and claw at him until he surrendered.
