A collection of writings I wrote on a whim; I decided to group them together because they are quite similar. Maybe I'll come back to some of these ideas again, maybe I won't...

Life’s not fair, isn’t it?
You beg, barter and fight your way to the top, only for the weaklings to drag you back down with their petty conceptions of “justice” and “morals.”
They acknowledge potential, but fear those that reach it.
And if you surpass it, they might just want to kill you, because you are no longer one of them, you are different.
Above the masses, above their laws, reaching ever higher to the void beyond…
And when you look down upon them, long after you’re forgotten and they persecute those that follow your footsteps…
You might say this to yourself:
“They are nothing, no matter how many of them there are.”
For a whole lot of nothing, is still… nothing.
And there is nothing to complain about… in this game called “Life.”

Quote:

Where do the days, the hours go

Mess of the world, no one shall know

I seek that which pushes me forward

None of that which pulls me astray

Words, worlds, works; trivial things to provide us meaning…

Mere whispers of a doubt find snares for our hearts in a web of shadows and fear. Forfeit these concepts of purpose or else countless strings will drag you where no traveler dare follow your footsteps.

The day we are born, we begin a journey.
Life…? Don’t be ridiculous.
Life is a game we play while on this journey.
We can have many lives while on this journey.
Even after a hundred deaths, we may never reach our destination.
Even after a thousand deaths, we may never take our first step.

So what is this journey we are all born into?
It’s a question we must discover ourselves.
An enigma that cannot be defined.
Something that lingers for only an instant.
It’s here; it’s now.
It’s gone.
