Xenosa had planned to stay out on Ayr for a single week before she returned to Daesat, her first day had not gone as well as she had wanted it to. She’d failed and had returned to camp empty handed. Dae seemed so sure this sort of thing would be good for her, the training that was, but Xen wasn’t one hundred present sure as to what Daesat was training her for. Whatever it was, and the Orderite had a small idea from the tasks she was being given, that it had to do with gathering information. For who? Or what purpose? She still had no idea, but now that all of Magesc was sort of on good terms, it meant that maybe she would get to see the city of the Oblivionites. Maybe this was what she was being trained for, but Xen was getting ahead of herself, she didn’t know what her purpose was yet.
Her second day on Ayr proved to be just as difficult and frustrating as the first day. Not only were the dragons far more alert since one of their own had been attacked, but they all seemed to be flying two by two. Of course, it could have been tricky, but it did mean killing two birds with one stone so to speak. As she approached the first pair of Ayrala, they spotted her and turned towards her, ready to kill her. The aerial attack proved to be too much for Xenosa, and she headed back to camp as quickly as she could. This felt like her Ysali fights all over again and it was not a pleasant feeling. It had taken her five dragon hunts to beat a single Ysali, would she have to repeat this pattern again with the Ayrala? That’s what it certainly was looking up to.
