Anywhere is just about anywhere, right? Well, she didn't expect to be on some road-looking pathway on a 500ft mountain and she was already shaking and frozen with fear. She was just trying to get to a meadow and some crow told her that she had to take this path to get there instead of the right way, and he she was, looking down below her. "Never trust a crow, never ever trust a crow." She said softly, showing her fear like it was paint plastered on a wall. She never truly meant to follow that crow's directions, but it was so colorful and sweet looking than most crows look, she just had to listen.
Collecting herself with a sigh, she stood up straight and was still shaking, but started walking down the path instead, nervous about falling off the mountain. If she did, she was lucky she saw a lake next to it on her way up, so if she indeed fell, she would land in the lake. Pick up the pace, she started to run a bit, leaping now and then over some small rocks that could trip her and every time she landed, her tail would wiggle. After jumping over the rocks, parts on the pathway seemed closer and actually started jumping down on each one, whining very softly with fear. Was she gonna make it to the ground, or was she gonna fall in the lake? Not even she could tell, but there was a higher chance for her falling in the lake at the bottom of the mountain, for she actually lost her footing and was about to make a dive for it.

Calibor had stopped by the lake to take a small rest from his travels to drink some water and maybe even enjoy a nice bath. He planned on delving into the mountain after this, to see what adventures he might find there. He loved exploring and although he had been in the mountains before, he looked forward to possibly finding something new. He was starting to wade into the water, near the part of the lake that bordered the mountain looming ahead, when he started to notice rocks falling from above.
He looked up, and could spot what he assumed was a mare hoping around on a small path up on the mountain. "You should slow down up there miss!" He didn't know if she would hear him, but his heart suddenly began to race as he realized his warning had been too late anyway. She started to fall, and to his surprised she must have realized she was slipping as she turned to dive into the lake. His mind started racing, was the water deep enough there? Would she be okay? Did she know how to swim? Would any more rubble come down with her?
He started to swim to where it looked like the mare would be falling, it was too late to worry about her fall now. He'd just have to be there for her when she landed. He wasn't much of a healer, but if she needed him he'd be there.

Tipping, tipping, tipping, tipping....! Yep, and she began falling, on doing a very quiet scream, like a dull 'aaaahh....' and when she saw a stallion in the lake, she knew he was right in her landing spot and moved herself lightly and with a splash, she ended up underwater, only four inches away from him. Submerging, her mane was wet, and so was er coat, but seeing the stallion near her now, she swam backwards, but slowly. "I-I-I'm so sorry if that splash got you wet. And i didn't mean to drag you in if you saw me falling! Its what i get for going on some of my instincts when trying to get down, but all i did was loosing my footing! I'm fine, not injured, and i don't mind going away at all...." She said and when she shook her coat a bit and she sighed, lowering her head with her ears back in apology to him as she looked at him with her yellow green eyes. She didn't know, though, that unlike her he would have different things about him that weren't like hers. She looked up to his ears and her ears pricked up, seeing they weren't deer-like. 'His ears aren't like mine.... I've seen some Cerynei that have those kind of ears, but only few, and they said one of their parents were Regulars. Is he one of those type of Cerynei...? No, the question is, is he even a Cerynei?' She thought and when she knew her ears were forward, she flattened them again, embarrassed about falling like the clumsy mare she is.

Maybe Calibor had got too close to where he thought the mare would be falling, she managed to miss him by only a few inches and before he could even ask her if she was alright, her mouth was shooting out sentences faster then anyone he'd ever met. At least she said she was okay, and with a quick look over her she really did look perfectly in tact. He let out a sigh of relief and gave the girl one of his famously, brilliant smiles. He splashed a little water at her with the tip of his nose, showing that he wasn't mad at all.
"You had me quite worried for you there! You're pretty smart though, not many others would have handled themselves so beautifully in that situation. You are sure you're alright though?" He was such a sucker for damsel's in distress. He wondered what she could have possibly been trying to do on such a narrow ledge, but he didn't question her about it. She had just fallen from a decent height after all, not need to pester her about what she had been doing there in the first place.
"My name is Calibor by the way, if you were wondering." His smile softened a bit and his wadded around in the water a bit, still a little worried that she might have some injury that he couldn't see.

'Beautifully in a situation' was what he said about that clumsy action? Sure, she was pretty speedy when the deer-like instincts kick in, but it wasn't that good at all, it was foolish mistake. "I am alright, no damage done. Call me Sakura, since my name is a bit long to say." She said and laid down, feeling more soaked from the splashes of water. She watched him wade around and saw a bit of his tail and some of his hooves. "D-Do you think you could tell me what breed you are? Y-You don't look like a Cerynei to me, and that would be a first." She asked in a soft and gentle tone, curious about what breed he really was. He was not a Cerynei at all, and there were enough signs and hints to prove it, but what she wanted to know was what he really was. She remembered she was trying to reach the dry flower fields that were all the way across the desert and huffed. 'Its going to probably take me a week, maybe even a month, just to get there! At least the flowers won't die out till it gets close to Fall....' She thought and looked back at him, wondering if he was going to the desert as well.
