Toki was listening to the children of his tribe chattering about seeing Magescians with bonded animals.. Bonded animals? He chuckled at teh thought.
"It's tamed, not bonded." He chortled at the Keindreds. They looked up at him.
"Tamed? What's that Shaman? How do you do that?" Toki cooked his head and thought about it.
"Taming is like it sounds. They take an animal, calm it down, make it trust them, and train it to do stuff... Hrmmm. Not too sure how they do it though! Maybe I should go and try to tame something. Certainly can't be worse than trying to teach you little rascals!" The Keindreds giggled and began to climb all over him.
"We're not that bad!"
"Show us! Show us!"
"Go capture and tame something!" They chirped excitedly.
Toki chuckled and stood up, shedding Keindreds as he headed out to where he knew some Lirkrepts were.

"Oh all right, I'm going, I'm going. Lets see if I can do this.. never tried to catch and animal and not kill it...." His tail swished back and forth, this seemed actually rather interesting. How did Magescian's tame and train creatures?

He heard the shrill calls of the Lirkrepts and made the Keindreds stay back a bit, he was mostly resistant to the poison, but a tiny Keindred would be in greater danger.

He walked towards the nest, his presence taunting them. He heard several flash by him, trying to bite him. He easily dodged, and waited until one came with in reach that wasn't moving too fast. He heard one flap right up near his head and screech at him. Grinning, he reached out and batted it down to the ground. Gently picking up the stunned Lirkrept in his mouth, he trotted back to the Kiendreds.

"You did it!"
"What're you going to do now?"
"Can I have it?" The Keindreds bounded about him as they all traveled back to the valley. Toki wondered how he was going to tame it.. maybe he could get someone to make him a cage and have the Keindreds help him feed it... What did they eat anyways?
