((Don’t question my RP-titling abilities LOL. /DIES))Ryuukishin Lazarus: -cools off by a brook, the morning sun beating heavy against his sides. His scales deflected some light, but not enough to make him comfortable- Roman Foi Pavitra: -lightly glides along the river, enjoying the rays reflecting off the waters in the bright heat before he notices a light flickering from below that's not from the rushing water; tilts his wings in ever so slightly and starts his decent- Ryuukishin Lazarus: -he notices a shadow moving atop the water and looks up to see a pure white stallion approaching. Startled, he leaps up and backs away, leaving enough room for the stranger to land without stepping on him- Roman Foi Pavi tilted his head a little, noticing that the shine disappeared. What in the world? He stooped to the ground, having to gallop a couple more feet before his momentum allowed him to turn and search the surrounding area. He liked collection small trinkets here and there, but where did it go? He paused when his eyes laid on a soquili, but this soq looked to be one of the more scarier than he'd ever come across. Frozen in place for a second, and only a second, Pavi began backing up, all the way in the river. Splashing noises and the wetness on his legs didn't call his attention away from the other male. Ryuukishin Lazarus: -Lazarus began backing away in the same moment. The stallion did not look particularly frightening, but it was an automatic response to the stranger's own backpedaling. Before he could get far, he ran butt-first into the base of a tree, and the shock of it was enough to break the fear's hold on him. He soon realized the two had unintentionally mirrored each other's movements and couldn't help but laugh- No one saw that. -he said, stepping as regally as he could away from the tree- Roman Foi Pavi blinked repeatedly, more than confused at the sudden outburst of laughter. Who did that? Was there another someone around he didn't see? He swiveled his head left and right before confirming there was no one. Soo, this big scary brute actually laughed. Huh. He qwerked an eyebrow before clearing his throat and standing a little more straight. "uhm. yes, no one, indeed." Ryuukishin Lazarus was generally more nervous around other winged soquili as it meant he wouldn't have the advantage when it came to escaping, but he didn't feel any real threat emanating from this stranger. Calmer now, he allowed himself to observe the stranger, though kept from staring outright. He didn't need a long look, anyway, it seemed: the stallion was pure white, and though the surrounding sun and grass and water gave some hue to his pelt, he was largely colorless.
"How's the water?" He rose a brow but offered a smile, trying not to scare the other any more than he had. Though the power he felt from seeing the other's unease was welcome, he was no stranger to fear and did not want to be the cause of it. Roman Foi Pavitra flicked his tail left and right nervously. His breaths were coming quick and shallow, feeling a pang of doubt creeping over him. The stallion didn't seem to be angry or presenting an outward threat, but gosh... Just so scary! "It-it feels nice." he stammered, and moved his front to feet lightly, his eyes not even blinking. Ryuukishin Lazarus glanced behind and around him, wondering if there was some external factor to explain the stallion's fear. He saw nothing note-worthy, however, and unless the stranger had an unusual terror of bees and flowers, there was only him.
"Mind if I join you?" he asked, never having roused such anxiety before and feeling close quarters might be best. Though he had large wings and rough scales, there had always been a delicacy about him that made it obvious he was no physical threat. But it was visual information, and those stranger's eyes... was he blind?
"Lazarus, by the way." Roman Foi Pavi tilted his head slightly, as very confused by the male. With fear being questioned by his logic, though his instincts said run, he made no move to back away or deter the male from approaching. "S-sure." He felt his tail wafting in the water now, rather than flicking left and right nervously. His shoulders still remained tensed, and blinking more scarce. He was being so mean to think that this stallion could be nothing but trouble just based on appearance. How many times had he been given suspicious looks because of his eyes? Guilt flooded him more thoroughly and he relaxed me with a small, slight smile. Ryuukishin Lazarus returned the stallion’s smile, the expression coming easy and genuine. He’d been the one insisting on relieving the male of his fear, but he couldn’t deny the fact that he enjoyed it. So often it was he who was frightened, and he felt no small thrill at seeing the tables turned. But he had nothing against the pure white stallion, and he’d do what he could to ward off what apprehension remained.
He eyed the stream warily as he made his way over. Though he’d been the one asking for an invitation, he’d initially meant it as a joke and had hoped the stallion would be enticed to come out instead, rather than he go in. It was shallow and slow-moving, but it was still water.
“What’s your name?” he asked, delaying.
