So, I've been meaning to post this for quite some time but either have been too lazy tired, or my brain hiccups and forgets about it. My hubby and i are going to Otakon this year! -insert fan girl squeal here- This is my first large convention, so I'm both nervous and excited. Have any of you been there in the past? Anyone planning to be there this year? Edit: 'Kay, I got my ustream channel up and plan to archive my webcasts. I dunno the schedule yet but will post when I'll be "live" later this evening. I just hope there's wifi somewhere. ^^; My ustream

I've been to smaller conventions like Ohayocon here in Ohio. It was a blast and I took soooo many pictures of cosplayers. There was an absolutely incredible Sephiroth that really stood out that I saw at every convention in Ohio lolol. I'm always impressed with good costumes of really detailed characters.
Still can't wait to see your costume! Want lots and lots of pictures and video.

CONVENTIONS.
I'm afraid I've never been to Otakon, but that's because I've never been to an American convention.
I'm up in Canadaland, and have only attended 3 different conventions a handful of times.
The stream would be awesome to see!
Take lots of pictures, and share them if you can. :D
LET ME LIVE VICARIOUSLY THROUGH YOU UNTIL I CAN GO TO A CONVENTION.

I've been to smaller conventions like Ohayocon here in Ohio. It was a blast and I took soooo many pictures of cosplayers. There was an absolutely incredible Sephiroth that really stood out that I saw at every convention in Ohio lolol. I'm always impressed with good costumes of really detailed characters.
Still can't wait to see your costume! Want lots and lots of pictures and video.
I will get the link up sometime soon then. ^_^ If we could, we would gladly take all our friends. Sephiroth, eh? Should i take requests for taking pictures of everyone's favorite characters? I go in next week to get my hair straightened professionally (it looks like a fuzz bomb went off right now). I could feasibly do a little short webcast of before and after. It could help me learn the ropes. (Knowing what I'm doing might help, haha.)

I love going to conventions, though my favorite just moved from hometown to overnight stay >.< and it's always father's day weekend. If you see any character from Full Moon O Sagashite, i want a picture! Or anyone from Okami! I have lofty goals for trying to make an Ammy Costume and Full Moon Mitsuki Costume... let's see if they happen. What are you planning on cosplaying as?

I'm sorry to hear your favorite moved away, but perhaps you can still find a way to go. I will have to look up reference pictures, but I certainly will take pictures of those characters for you, should I spy any. ^_^ I'm going as Cardcaptor Sakura, the bat thief. It was the least frilly and heat-inducing outfit I could find. O.o; Also might go as my OC, Sailor Nemesis. Banshee Cupcake Don't forget water and food! I did an impromptu webcast. It was more of a "huh, what the heck am I doing?" type of webcast but still. XD So I am hoping to do live webcasts tomorrow around 9:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 7:30 PM Eastern Standard time. I will also more than likely be doing short little recordings when given the opportunity. Time to shower and sleep. It's gonna be a fun filled day tomorrow. ^^;
