Kamiki ((*pushes today's random Soquili out into the thread*))
Dierdre landed in the meadow, shaking out her wings and flipping her drape off from her neck and let it fall over her back like a shawl. Her braided hair down the back of neck, kept it out of her eyes when she flew, and hadn't bothered to remove the braid in many seasons, causing her new growth near her head a wild, wind-swept look. She look a look around the meadow, pawing at the ground with her deformed foot - a nervous habit she picked up whenever she was around strangers, to see if anyone else was milling about his fine summer day.

Kaitaia Gatsby grinned, his tail swishing a little as she wiggled her own. That was so cute. He loved ceyreni tails. "Oh, I'm certain you will, Miss Callie," he assured her. "I am most certain you will."
"So tell me, what's a beauty like you doing out around here alone?"

Dierdre spied two others speaking down the ways a bit. She fluffed her feathers and tried to decide if she wanted to go over and say anything. They seemed a nice-enough lot... two naturally colored ones, one with wings like her.
She made her way over slowly, nonchalantly, lifting her long, pointed ear in their direction, trying to discern the nature of their conversation.

Uta  The double winged mare looked up as another figure genty descended from the sky and landed not far in the meadow. It was peculiar for Numielle to be away from her mountain top abode, to be away from the protection of her beloved herd, her mate, her children, her family. But, despite her ridiculous nature, despite her simplicity, despite her - perhaps - crazy, the black and blue eyed mare did not forget where Nimue or Ezriel resided. They lived away from the hills, and from time to time, the pale mare liked to go down and attempt to seek them out.
She had not, thus far, been successful but she had made friends with the buttercups and lilies and the beautiful flowers that resided in the soft grasses of the meadow. That was reward enough, though . . . to find herself in the company of another soquili was even better! Eyes lighting with mirth, the simple mare's spiked tail began to wag in excitement.
She didn't recognize this brown, disheveled wind! That meant she was a stranger, someone different, and oh so pretty! "Oh, you fly so splendidly!" She cooed, unable to help herself. Her wings had flared some in her excitement, the lower pair beginning to flap a few times as she all but beamed at the mare. "And such trinkets you wear! Did your Special-Special give them to you, like mine did?"
Tact? Numielle didn't know the definition of the word. But then, she was a bit special herself.

-MoomoolatteCha- She smiled and noticed the mare off to the side of them.Her ears perked up and she turned slightly."I am just enjoying the sunshine."She said softly.Callie wanted to call out towards the mare,but who knew is she even really wanted to talk.
"Hello."She said to the mare. Looking back to Gatsby,she nodded."What about yourself?"

Gatsby nodded when Callie spoke of the sunshine. It truly was a beautiful day, anyone could see that. He opened his mouth to reply, but was startled when she said hello again. His brow furrowed a bit, and he was about to make a comment when he noticed it had been another mare that she'd spoken to. Looking her over, he noticed her deformed foot, but being a gentleman decided not to comment. She was rather stunning otherwise anyhow.
"Oh! So many lovely ladies out and about today!" he called cheerily. "Come, join us if you wish!"

Dierdre's not-so-subtle eavesdropping was interrupted by another mare - a white, red, and black double-winged alicorn lady who seemed a bit... off. She couldn't but her hoof on it, but it was probably her crystal horn that seemed a bit bloodstained.
"T---thank you...?" She said uncertainly, realizing her cover was now 'blown' to the other two Soquili in the meadow. "Uh, my Special-special?"
What the hell was that?
She gave a sheepish smile back to the two natural Soquili, knowing they saw her now and it seemed as though she may have brought along this eccentric mare.

-MoomoolatteCha- Callie blinked at all the soquili around now.She wasn't sure how to react to three soquili around her.It just made her a bit nervous and made her not want to speak too much. It made her very anti-social with this many around her. It reminded her about the past with her family. She was always so quite."It's a pleasure to be around you all..."She said quietly.

Uta It was then that the, rather oblivious red-maned mare saw that there were actually two others about this glorious afternoon! The mare's mind often had a tendency to brush over details, and the knowledge that she had not been alone had eluded her up until Deidre had arrived. The flowers had, apparently, been far too fascinating.
"Oh . . ." Dark blue eyes suddenly dimmed, and the mare took a few steps forward, a sadness entering her voice. The other one looked so confused, so that clearly meant one thing and one thing only! "Oh dear. Pretty-Wind-Mare does not have a special-special, then? For surely you would know of them if you did! And Numielle doesn't know who they might be, either." She admitted with some angst. It was such a tragedy to find the most prettiest and wonderfulest of soquili out there to be alone, without special-specials to give them trinkets, and give them shiny things, and jewels.
"Maybe you have yet to find them. Then there will be even more trinkets and shinies, just like you're wearing now!" She assured maternally, all but cooing at Deidre. As if the mare might need some assurance.
Still, her eyes drifted over to where Callie and Gatsby stood, and she all be squeed. "Why hello~! Such pretties everywhere! Numi didn't see you there, silly mare she is!" She laughed at herself brightly, her wings still partially flared. "Are the two of you Special-Specials?" She inquired of Gatsby and Callie. They would be so pretty if they were~! And everyone needed a happy ending just like she had found.

Dierdre rolled her eyes dramatically. "No, I don't have a 'special special'" she said defensively and made a face. "Nor do I need one. I can get whatever trinkets I want on my own, thankyouverymuch." She gave a derisive snort. "I don't need your pity."
She seemed to realize how rude she was being to the possibly simple mare and tried to soften her tone a bit. "My name is Dierdre, by the way." ((Also BRB, time to go home!))

It really was his lucky day. He was surrounded by 3 very lovely, very beautiful mares. Gatsby couldn't be more pleased. Settling his wings upon his back, more as a ploy to draw attention to them rather than anything else, he smiled at the mares assembled around him. Could this day possibly get better?
"No, Miss, I can't say that we are Special-Specials," he said, laughing lightly at the term the angeni mare had chosen. "I only met this beautiful creature today, just as I met you. My name is Gatsby, and this is Callie. It's certainly a grand day to make new friends, isn't it?"

Uta Thankfully for Dierdre, Numielle didn't entirely understand the derision found within her voice. Though she seemed a bit flustered, a bit upset even, the mare honestly didn't put it together that it was her doing. No, the partially-crazed female had grown up with an incredibly irritable and temperamental father, so it did not at all perturb her to hear it. As far as Numielle understood, Dierdre was simply flustered over her lack of a very own special-special.
"Oooooooh," She cooed, great admiration staining her words. "So Pretty-Wind-Mare is a great treasure hunter, then?" It made sense, for hadn't the horned mare just stated that she could get any treasure she wished on her own? And wasn't she covered in such items Numielle had never seen before. Clearly, that meant she was indeed a great treasure hunter, and perhaps she had come from far, far away! Eeeeee~! Numielle had never met one before. . . this was the most exciting day ever.
And then there was her name. Dierdre. Dierdre, Dierdre, Dierdre. Pretty-Wind-Mare Dierdre. And the two others, oh yes, she could not forget them, of course not~! Callie was so precious, and certainly in need of cuddles. . . . and Gatsby had the longest hair she had ever seen! EVER! And such pretty wings. . .
Her spiked tail was wagging unrestrained in her great pleasure. "Oh, yes Fuzzy-Face, Numi-Numi thinks it is quite a good day for making new friends. She hasn't had any in such a long while, it is so very good to meet everyone. Numi's name is Numielle, oh yes, yes it is!" She beamed a radiant smile, quite proud of this fact, and quite thrilled that she had three new best-friends-forever.
Right here. Forever. Oh, how the mare did so very much enjoy meeting new soquili!

Wow, was this girl for real? Dierdre was a bit of a pessimist, or a realist, depending on who you asked. She certainly didn't suffer fools well, though a lot of it had to do with the fact that she didn't like to get very emotionally attached to anyone. Casual acquaintances were fine, but she would never fully trust another Soquili if she could help it.
"No, I'm not a treasure hunter!" she said, a bit exasperated. "I got these from my mother."
She shook her head, looking over to the winged stallion. "Nice to you meet, I didn't come with her," she said, nodding back to Numielle.

Kaitaia Fuzzy-Face? Gatsby wasn't sure how he felt about that nickname. He regarded the angeni mare, Nimielle was it?, with a sight frown on his face. Was his face fuzzy? He didn't think it was any fuzzier than most other horses. He'd certainly seen stallions with far more hair on their face than him. He didn't like this at all. He would have to find a lake or a river after this and check his reflection to make sure.
"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Nimielle. And Miss Dierdre." He turned to smile at the much quieter mare. "How are you both on this lovely, sunshiney day?"
