A day and a half ago

Quote:
Erionda reached up to unclasp the leather strap holding her shoulder gear in place. She let it fall off her arm towards the ground. Shifting she let it lay against the sword and shield she carried with her. Floating in the water before her, Lanzecki and Uassae were cooling off in the dry heat of Eowyn. Removing her boots and socks Erionda moved to step into the water. It was one of the few ways she had learned to overcome the torturous heat. Closing her eyes as the water splashed up around her knees Rio couldn't help but hum. Despite the events with Alpha and Beta, Kilian had done some surprising things.

Touching the necklace that now hung around her neck Erionda sighed. She knew the Oasis by her house was a safe place to be. Kiandri littered the pathway here blocking most Magescians entrance into her sanctuary. Smiling as her hands dropped, Erionda bent down towards the water. Scooping up handfuls of the liquid and raising them up and over her arms. The water chilled with the contact of her body. Leaving ice like crystals on her scales and skin.

The hybrid spun around to the entrance as a strange and unfamiliar sound reached her ears. Rubbing the back of her neck Erionda glanced towards her weapons. She was standing in a fair bit of water, so if need be she could protect herself. Her miss matched eyes searched the desert ahead. Perhaps she had only been hearing things.

Jax had had just about enough of Eowyn. The blistering heat and the infernal sand that got everywhere was driving the Gaili dovaa mad. She hated coming down to the other continents, there wasn't anything of interest on them but dragons and she wasn't even allowed to wrestle those anymore.

The cost of growing up and being taken seriously had been an expectation that Jax behave as an adult did. Which meant hunting dragons as cleanly and efficiently as possible as opposed to wrestling and punching them into submission like some sort of brute. Well technically Jax could go back to her old ways but that would mean giving up her position as one of Marcus' official guards and she rather liked the job she had earned.

At the moment though she just wanted her current assignment over with. Tracking down the mysterious hybrid girl who'd been kidnapped by and then fought the being they'd come to know as Alpha had not been fun. Jax had nothing against hybrids but did the girl really have to live here of all places!? Not to mention that she'd not been at her place of residence when they'd finally found it.

" Do all dovaa complain as much as you?" Callix asked as he tried to drown out his companion's grumblings. The orderite male's tone was cool and condescending. Honestly the Dovaa woman was wearing practically nothing at all and he was trudging through a desert in robes but she was the one complaining. It had been nothing but suffering, tolerating Jax for the past few days as they searched for their target.

He only hoped it was truly worth it, and that the girl would see things Aevah's way.

Glaring at each other the pair entered the oasis and made a line straight for the figures they spotted in the distance.

Quote:
Erionda's eyes grew wide as they fell on the Dovaa and Orderite that had ventured into the Oasis. What where they doing here, and what did they want? She itched to run for her weapon but with the distance, they were likely to beat her to them. Taking a step back into the water, she felt the welcome pressure of both her Drakein. One on either side as they stared at the new comers.

How did they make it past the Kiandri so well? Uassae asked over their bond. Erionda could only shake her head in response. Her eyes glaring at the strangers before her.

"How did you find me... No, how did you get past the Kiandri out there so easily?" Erionda asked her tone bitter as adrenaline began it's course through her body. She could enact her clan magic. Freeze the surface of the water into ice and dart away. It would take them longer to trudge through the water. Or around it to catch up to her, leaving her with a pretty good head start to freedom.

Jax gave a small smile at the question and stomped a foot into the ground in response.Instantly a wall of sand stone jutted up from the ground. "I circled the first batch in stone and no one else challenged me." Did this girl know how hard it was to make circular stone walls, on the fly, without obvious weak points or cracks? Jax doubted it and that was a pity.

Callix was unmoved by the display and merely moved to nod his head in respect slightly towards the hybrid girl. "Your presence is required at an important event." Pale eyes watched Erionda carefully occasionally straying to her drakein as if unsure of them.

Quote:
Erionda's eyes narrowed suspiciously at the two before her. What sort of event would require such a defiled creature like herself? Pushing her body closer to Uassae as if unsure of the actions of the other two Magescian's, the hybrid disregarded the display of talent. Was this Dovaa foolish? She could easily form ice just as thick, just as strong as rock. If she had easily intimidated the Kaindri, then Erionda would have to try to lure more of the stronger ones back to her home. It was pointless to have weak and fearful dragons as a natural deterrent.

"And what do you need her for." Uassae snarled lowering his head protectively near Erionda. His lips curling back in a snarl. "People like you only come here for one thing and that's a fight. Two on one is a bit unfair. Not like we can't overpower you in the end anyway."

Erionda brought a hand up to stroke Uassae's side. While she suspected her male Drakein was right. It wasn't fair to disregard all who came to pay her a visit. Take Kilian for example. He had not caused her any harm, it was a wonder they had even gotten past him. Unless they hadn't checked the house.

" Mistress Aevah and," here Callix paused for just a moment to adjust his robes and sigh. "Marcus Ysaride have some important news to share with their people. Miss Erionda.." Callix hoped he was pronouncing this correctly, "is an important aspect of this. She is to be a guest, as are you and your younger companion." Did Drakein get seasick? Did this girl? Callix wondered if things were going to get worse after they convinced the trio to come instead of better.

"Oh and Draco Verrano will be there but he doesn't want to talk to you," Jax added with a roll of her dark eyes. Sure the girl wasn't one of his but she was still worthy of recognition. " We're not allowed to fight you," Jax noted with a little bit of sadness tinging her voice. Although nothing about the large muscular woman's posture indicated any sort of real malice or ill intentions. " You have to come willingly or they will come get you themselves." Given how much effort this Erionda girl put into hiding Jax doubted she wanted the two leaders and their necessary entourages traipsing all over the place around her home.

Quote:
Miss Erionda?

Uassae and Rio shared a quick glance. The question echoing through their bond simultaneously. Turning their attention back towards the duo before them. Erionda had never been addressed by anything denoting she had status within the world.

I wonder how much pain it's causing them to call you that. Uassae mentioned, mirth flowing freely towards Erionda.

The young hybrid shrugged. The least she could do was hear them out. Once they had finished speaking Erionda let out a slow sigh. At least they had allowed her Drakein to join her. "I'll come." Erionda replied. "But Uassae is coming."

Lanzecki gave a soft burbling question. "No, You need to stay here. You're still to small Lanzecki. Besides who would look after the house?" The smaller Keindred wrinkled his nose but subsided. He watched as Erionda and Uassae removed themselves from the water. His hybrid companion gathered up her gear and weapons. Quickly dressing and moving to follow the duo.

Jax grinned as it became apparent that Erionda was going to come willingly. As the girl moved closer she offered a friendly nod of her head and began to introduce herself and Callix.

It would only take about half a days walk at a brisk pace for the group to reach the outpost the two guards had left swifter transportation at and from there they would head to the coast, then out to sea.

Currently

It had been a week since the being known as Alpha had been captured. Tensions had mounted as more and more disturbing news had leaked from Eowyn of the experiments the hybrid coalition had been running. The lives of hybrids all over Magesc had for the last seven days been quite a bit more unpleasant than usual. Many were subject to more intense scrutiny than before and while none of the leaders had condoned this behavior there was little that they could do at present to stop small groups of people here or there from acting violently.

Two days earlier letters had been distributed throughout the capital cities and as many outlying towns are couriers could reach.

To whom this letter has reached:

You have been summoned by your respective leader to gather out at sea. A map, date and time has been provided to you in this letter. It is within your best interest to attend, particularly if you were involved in last weeks events on Eowyn

We have some information we would like to reveal to you at that time and would also like to put an end to many of the rumors currently circulating through our midst. Those of you who have Drakeins are permitted to bring them on the ships with you and feral Drakein are welcome to attend . There will be guards stationed at the harbors to escort you to our required destination as it is neutral ground.

Despite the high tensions, much of which is justified, attendees will not be permitted to conduct themselves violently under threat of death. There will be peace during these proceedings, if you cannot adhere to that than do not attend.

Sincerely,

Draco Veranno
Aevah Avi
Marcus Ysaride

While the leaders did not expect their whole populations to turn up surely enough would that the message they had to give would be thoroughly spread.

~~
Daylight shone over the calm blue ocean, mirroring the the sky above. Thin white clouds were streaked over the horizon but giving the sign that no storms would be happening any time soon. A large pavilion bobbed gently on the surface of the water. Boats gathered along the edge and Magescians of all races were ushered out of onto the platform.

On the highest platform of the pavilion stood several guards, Marcus, Draco Aevah and Erionda. The young female hybrid stood with her head bowed. She had been dressed in a flattering robe. Her face dusting pink as more eyes fell on her. Beside them several closed chests lay atop a linen covered table.

Marcus cleared his throat as he waited for everyone's attention to turn to him. "Welcome to everyone. Dovaa, Oblivionite and Orderite alike, as well as our hybrid kin and drakein allies. There is a very special reason we have called you all here today." He paused to let everyone have their chance at muttering to the others. To let the gossip spread around. It was healthy for everyone to talk, and he wasn't one to keep people from asking questions. He remained silent as he watched the crowed below.

Draco was irritated with slow progress of things, he wanted this done and over with so he could return to Soudul. The man unashamedly eyed the hybrid on the stage with distaste. "Hurry it along Marcus," he muttered, as he ran his fingers along the hours old magical wound that had blistered his left arm.

" Show some patience Draco," Aevah snapped. The action made her nostrils flare in anger, resulting in pain given just how recently it had been broken.

Even on this day of required peace there had been outbursts earlier
Words exchanged about the death of Nayal had swiftly become blows exchanged and only more pressing matters had stopped the pair from spilling each other or Marcus', for he dared to interfere, blood.

Even as the three leaders tried to show a united front to their people it was clear that some enmities could not be put aside for very long.

[Alrighty everyone feel free to have your peoples and drakein gathering either out on various boats/ ferries or on the lower section of the pavilion. Everyone can mingle as they please but do remember tensions are kinda high right now.]

Kilian
Kilian had decided to go into town that day as Erionda had opted for the Oasis. It was hard for him to part ways with her still. He wanted so badly to keep her by his side but knew that it would smother her. He let out a sigh as his hand ran over Amadia's head and horns. The feel of his bonded under his hand and in his mind seemed to calm the Oblivionite. He shifted the pack full of supplies from one arm to the other. The wounds from the dragon bite had begun to heal wonderfully, thanks to Erionda, but there was still a bit of pain if he used it for too long.

Kilian's feet drug through the sand and he wished for nothing but to drink some nice cold water and see Erionda. Finally, Erionda's house came into view and he let out a relieved sigh. As he stepped into the house, he fully expected her to be at the table, waiting for him. His eyebrows rose as he took in the empty room. "Rio!" He called as Amadia sniffed the air and sent out a small growl. Someone's been here. She said through their bond.

Kilian's gaze shot down to his drakein and he frowned. Who had been in Erionda's house while they'd been around? He quickly checked all the rooms on the first floor, calling her name out as he went. Worry began to gnaw on him. He sat down at the table and held his head in his hands. Where could she have gone? His sockets opened slightly as the rustle of paper came to him. Sitting on the table was a letter. He reached out and snatched it up before the stray winds could blow it away. Had she left him a note?

Confused, Kilian quickly opened it and read it. After finishing the letter he laid it back down. He was even more confused now. What could they possibly want with everyone? Had Rio gotten a letter like this and left without him? Would she have done that? His fist clenched as he wadded up the letter and sat back in the chair. But what if she hadn't left? What if she was just at the Oasis still?

Araceli
Araceli had been busy getting back into her studies and going on dragon hunts since the fight against Beta. She sighed as she drug herself into her home after a hard day's work. Her parents were sitting at the table, something that wasn't too common of a sight at this time of day. They were usually out back, enjoying the good weather. "What's going on?"

Fear coursed through her as many possibilities ran through her head. Were they being called out to aid in healing for another battle? Was she going to be required to go? Were they in trouble for what had happened in the tunnels? Was someone hurt? Her parents looked over at her, a bit startled to see that their daughter had already arrived home. "Here." Niyol said as she handed the piece of paper they had both been reading to her daugher.

"What's this?" Ara asked as she took the paper from her mom and began to read it. Her eyes widened at the contents. They were being summoned? Again? Though it didn't seem that it was for a battle this time. She stared at the signatures of each of the race leaders. "Are we...going?" Ara asked as she looked up from the paper and to her parents.

"We didn't do much but heal a few magescians, Ara." Rhett said as he stood up from the table. "But you. You helped fight back one of the beasts. So if you'd like to go, we can." Ara looked back down at the letter in her hand and pondered. She really was curious about what this was all about. She had made her choice, they would go.

"I'd like to go, if that was alright with you guys?" Ara asked as she looked between her parents. "You too?" She asked hopefully. With a nod from both her mom and her dad Ara beamed. They quickly gathered what little supplise they'd need and made their ways tot he docks to load up onto a boat to take them where they needed to go.

Kadryn had received her letter while she was in the kitchen at the Wind Cafe. Her mother looked over her shoulder as she read it.
"Well, finally! Something is going to happen and hopefully afterwards the tension and anxiety will be gone! I haven't had a decent nights sleep since then cause you can practically feel it in the air!" Laasya had said before going back to kneading some dough. "If you are going, make sure you say good bye to Fallon and then come back as soon as possible! Your father and I have something we'd like to talk to you about."

"Okay, mum. I'll head out after I finish this platter. Though why you keep telling me that yo and Da have something you want to talk about but haven't said it yet..." She grinned at her mother. Her parents had some plans, but they were hesitant to talk to her about it. Kadryn thought she knew what it was about. Ma had been looking at Fallon's old baby stuff lately...

Laasya huffed and laughed. They'd talk to her when she came back. The meat that Kadryn ahd been frying soon was finished and she cut it up adn tossed it into a pot filled with spices, water, and vegetables to simmer for the next few hours. "Alright, I'm off!"

A few hours later, Kadryn had gathered her stuff, dressed in some new clothes and headed towards the ferry.

*an fyi: Kadryn is now dressed like her artwork XD Before she was in more battered clothes.*

As per usual with him Junjie was pretty oblivious to the happenings in the world around him. He and Tilawen, along with Abellio, had left the same night that the horrific lab had occurred, not planning on going back, certain that things weren't going to be all that friendly in that area. With his Keindred at his side he'd vanished back into the sandy depths of Eowyn to resume his training even if a part of him had wanted to run home. He wouldn't allow himself to be weak, not to mention he didn't want such trouble following him home where it might harm his mother. Instead he figured it best that he just go back to what it was that had sent him to the sandy continent to begin with, that being the training that the sage said that he needed. He and Abellio were working on just that, several long days and nights of it, when they found themselves with a rather unexpected visitor, his teacher.

The two of them had chatted, a letter was handed over to Junjie, and he found himself with the task of deciding on whether or not he wanted to follow the instructions therein. Truth he told he really didn't, it was probably best if he stayed away from there, if he went he was sure that Tilawen would knock himself senseless for doing something so dangerous. The last thing he wanted to do was to rile up his fiery friend after all but in the end the sage convinced him that it was for the best. He didn't want to be completely out of the loop after all, best to know what the three leaders were up to after all, and it wasn't as though Junjie hadn't become fairly decent at pretending to be something he wasn't. Go as a Dovaa, see what was up, then leave if there were any hints of danger it was suggested to him. While he was still a little leery about the idea he agreed, provided that the sage went to go and check up on his mother for him. It was something that the man seemed a little bent out of shape over having to do but finally agreed to it. Junjie had no idea what the relationship between the pair were but he did know it was a strained one at best. Still, who else could he ask to do such a thing?

It was after the two of them parted ways, Junjie and Abellio heading for the sight mentioned in the letter while the sage headed for Serenia where his mother was located. It took less time to find the spot that everyone was gathering then he would like, he had hoped to be further away from any outsiders during his training, having wanted to just let loose. Next time he would need to be more careful he decided. After making sure that his wings were faded away, nothing more then the tattoo like markings on his back at the moment, and that his cloak was in place, the 'Dovaa' walked forward to take his place at the back edge of the crowd. He didn't want to get any closer, didn't want to change getting caught up in the crowd. He'd just wait, watch, and once he figured out what the meaning behind the letter was he would leave. He'd agreed to learn what was going on, he never agreed to stick around, "Things seem too tense for my liking." He said to Abellio through their bond, finding it interesting that all manner of people were here, from all of the factions Drakein included, but that didn't put him anymore at ease. It did pique his curiosity though, something he tried to get under control because he needed to concentrate.

Abellio looked up at him for a moment before plopping down, starring at the crowd from the hood he was wearing, tail lashing from side to side. His bonded said that it was too tense, a comment that made Abellio tense too, "Let's leave soon." He finally said, all for doing so sooner then later, not sure what was going on, not in the least bit, but if it made Junjie uncomfortable then it must be bad, right? This was Junjie after all who faced off against all manner of dragons while protecting Abellio. If Junjie was worried then it wasn't something they wanted to do for all that long.

Tilawen

After her discussion with Junjie outside the cave where Alpha and Beta had been dealt with she was glad to of convinced them to leave and then eventually part ways. Though part of her was slightly saddened at parting ways she knew it would be better in the long run this way. Tilawen was better off on her own, she could focus solely on finding her father and then beating him to death, or rather burning him to death.

Returning to scowering the area, it lead her back home. Standing outside of her house she looked at it, every part of her screamed to leave but no expression crossed her face. She went inside and as she expected...her father had been here. Annoyed with herself as she knew this should of been the first place she had gone to check..some part of her hoped he hadn't actually left her...some small part held onto that hope...but no..he had come and he had gone. The evidence was clear as he had taken food and whatever money he would need for where ever he had been going.

The front door had been locked but she had known where a spare key was hidden to let her in. But...she couldn't bring herself to care. Standing in the archway she observed and then lifting her staff summed a ball of fire. She would burn the place down, there was nothing left for her here.

As the house started to nicely catch on fire she turned to leave only to be surprised as a messenger was standing there gawking. Two envelopes were in his hands, his gaze locked on her and then to the smoke coming from the building behind her. Then it was...just the envelopes floating in the air...and the guy running off. It would of been amusing if she wasn't trying to remain emotionless. Looking to the envelopes as they landed on the ground she picked them up and then opened them.

As the sound of the wood crackling reached her ears she skimmed through the letters and once done they took were set on fire. She didn't know who was playing games here but she refused to believe what was on the letter. It was a trap...though she did find it ..ironic she got a letter from both the oblivionite leader as well the dovaa. The red head was going to ignore the summons at first, why risk her neck?

Then...as she walked away from her home that was quickly turning into a blaze all its own, she realized one person was probably going to be there. Junjie. Sighing she stopped walking and rubbed her temples. He would go...to 'help' people. It was a a bad habit of his. Being helpful. Looking to the sky she tried to sort through her thoughts...then turning headed to where the letters had directed.

***

It hadn't taken her long to find the place, her hood up it allowed her horns to be visible but it covered her face for the most part. Her staff in hand she moved about the edge of the crowd her eyes glanced over the ships and the other gathered around but she was looking for one person in particular after all it was because of him that she dragged herself back into the frying pan. Looking over people she tried to make sure no one saw her face, or looked at her too long.

She was looking for his brown hair...for his kindreid, actually it was Abellio she was looking for as the fluffy feathered drakien was so...unique it was easy to spot in a crowd. Her eyes scanned and scanned and finally they lit upon the him. Sighing in partial relief and irritation, she had half hoped he would have the sense to stay home she approached him. Lightly grabbing his sleeve and pulling him backwards and away from the people as she did so.

"Seriously Junjie..." She muttered under her breath.

Lanzecki pouted as he finally reached the house. He didn't like the fact he had been left behind. Instructed to go home. He wasn't that small! Or that weak! His tail smacked the sandy ground with each thought. How dare she leave him. He was her most dependable Drakein! Even if he wasn't full grown. Reaching the sanctuary Rio called home Lanzecki's head butted against the door. He let out a long whine as if he had just escaped death. It wobbled and deepened as he pushed the door open.

His eyes fell on Kilian the moment he entered the house. The wining only intensified. If he played this right, he might convince Kilian to let him tag along and disobey Rio's initial orders. Flopping his belly to the ground with another longing whimper, Lanzecki pulled himself forward with his front claws. Acting as if his hind end was injured. Upon reaching Kilian Lanzecki put his head on the Oblivionites lap. "Rio Taken." Lanzecki whined.

"Leave Lazkey. Rio soon die." Unsure if he got the right reaction. Lanzecki flopped on his back. Twisting his body from side to side as if he were suffering. His four legs pawed at the air. "Save Rio!" Lanzecki continued with all his might. "Rio!"

Kilian's head was in his hands as he leaned his elbows against the table. He let out a sigh as he let the paper drop to the table. What was he going to do? Erionda was gone and here he was being summoned elsewhere. He gritted his teeth, frustration coursing through him. Amadia had curled up next to his feet when the Erionda's door opened. Her head popped up at the noise. Kilian's ears twitched and his head swiveled over to look to see who had come in. "Rio?" He said, half expecting her to saunter into the room with a smile on her face.

He frowned when he saw Lanzecki. Kilian's eyebrow rose at the whining sounds coming from the drakein. He leaned back in the chair as he laid his head in Kilian's lap. "Taken?" Kilian's sockets widened as he took this new information in. He looked at the letter on the table and frowned. Had they taken her to show an example of her? His fists clenched tightly as he looked back down at Lanzecki when he said die.

His muscles tensed and images of Eriond flashed through his mind. No... Kilian watched Lanzecki as he rolled around on the floor, his eyes narrowing a the overly dramatic display. He crouched down. "Lanzecki, are you sure Rio was taken?" He asked as he reached a hand out to stop the drakein from rolling around. "Who took her?"

Maslin

Maslin stood at the edge of the pavilion staring off down into the dark water below. Lazuli, being Lazuli, had sworn he'd seen a thing and dove off the platform into the ocean's depths before Maslin could even think to restrain him. It was not exactly the best start to an event when you were ignoring important announcements in favour of hoping your bonded didn't return with a giant dead sea creature in it's mouth.

I won't kill it Lazuli promised, his mental voice sounded faint and distracted.

Maslin sighed and glanced back towards the gathered and still gathering crowd. Somewhere in this throng of bodies were people he called friends. Friends he genuinely cared enough for that he was willing to make the effort and take the risks necessary to get here. It was strange really and Maslin was unsure of what he'd say when he'd found them. He was unaccustomed to having people that weren't family for whom he made any sort of sacrifice.

After all it wasn't as if whatever news came out today was going to remain a secret, the hybrid man would have heard of it eventually. Yet here he was, clothed less like a blacksmith and more like your average civilian. He was taking advantage of the spacious atmosphere and the promised peace to enjoy the feel of a light sea breeze rustling the feather of his normally hidden wings.

Akilae

The last week of Akilae's life had mostly been spent hiding out at the compound. With hatred and violence towards hybrids on an upswing it was safer to be amongst people who didn't really care what he was. Especially when he along with the other order members had returned home with so much news from the battlefront and the goings on at Eowyn. He'd had several long briefing sessions before the let him crawl away to get some rather needed rest.

In keeping with that theme Akilae had been sent out to answer the summons going around. Delivery of the notices had naturally not made it anywhere near the compound of the Order of the onyx but the members they out out within Soudul, had informed the home base quickly. Thus Akilae amongst some other members had been sent out to survey the event and glean any new information they could.

Now the young man was carefully stepping off of a ferry and onto the large pavilion that Draco and the others had chosen to host the event upon. Aside from a few pieces of hair blown astray by the wind Akilae was looking his best. While he still visibly carried his bow, had hidden weapons all over , and looked like a warrior he did not look battle weary. His clothes and body armour were all new or had been rigorously cleaned. The hybrid's dark blue hair and skin each seemed to have an extra sheen today, courtesy of washing with some special solutions his mother made.

Akilae was dressed to impress, and to intimidate.

As he looked toward where the leaders were gathered, head cocking to one side when he spotted... Erionda? He blinked a couple times, lifting up on his tip toes, as he looked her over. What was Erionda doing up there? Especially given what she wearing... he didn't think he'd ever seen her in something like that before. He found himself wanting to check the letter again that he had in his pocket, to see if it gave any clues as to what was going on, but didn't want to draw attention to himself, "That's... strange, what is she doing up there?" He murmured to Abellio who gave a crooning sound, one that made him sound as confused as Junjie was feeling at the moment. Confusion turned to him him being startled, nearly given a heart attack, when someone caught hold of his sleep and dragged him backwards.

He whirled around, expecting the worst... and saw someone far different then he expecting and maybe worse then who he was expecting. Uh-oh he thought to himself before he gave a sort of lopsided smile, "Ahh... hello there, Tila, nice to see you again..." He said, knowing full well that she was likely wanting to strangle him at this point. The two of them had left at the same time after all, after they had dealt with the find in that underground lab, and yet here they both were again. Seemed as though he wasn't the only one that couldn't stay away... though he had the reason of being ushered here by the sage. Given that he also at least knew of Tilawen maybe he visited with her too? He wasn't sure but he was quite curious as he asked, "Did you meet with the sage too? Did he give you the letter?" His tone was a hushed one, not wanting to draw more attention to the two of them then they were already getting just due to what they looked like and the fact that they were chatting in a friendly enough manner.

Abellio looked over at the two of them before he lifted up on his back legs, feathers fluffing up, as he watched Rio a little longer before he turned and walked toward Junjie on his back legs, resting his forefeet against Junjie's side and crooned, "Hello Tila! Hello Tila!" It had been so long since they had seen her he thought to himself, or at least it felt like a long time to him but that could just be because he was still young yet and all time seemed to be sooo much longer then it really was. His feathery tail set to swishing before he went back to watching Rio, head cocked to one side, seeming to be trying to figure out what she was doing up there. Why was she up there instead of with them? He should go get her... but he didn't want to leave Junjie if they might end up leaving early with Tila, "Jun! Jun! Where are Lanzecki and Uassae?" He asked, not seeing the two of them straight away. There were other Drakein in the crowd though which made it that much harder to spot them.

Junjie lifted a hand to pet the Keindred the was propped against him, doing his best to keep from tipping over, and said, "I don't see them at the moment but if Rio is here they must be here too." He assured him before looking back to Tilawen once more.

Toki was once again lurking along the outskirts of the gathering. The events of a week ago had been weighing on his mind and when he'd heard several magescians, Dovaa by their scent, discussing a letter that had requested they all attend this meeting, he couldn't help but want to go.
What was their decision, and what would be the effects upon his people? What would they do with the information they'd found in the cave? So when the Dovaa had left to go there, he'd followed them, sneaking stealthily along behind until they got on to a boat, and then he flew after them until he'd heard the growling chatter of a large tense crowd.

Settling down on the outskirts he began to search for another handy child to kidnap and convince to be his 'bonded' so that he could get in and hear all the gossip and conversations.

Kadryn had arrived and sat off to the side out of the way of the huge crowd gathering. She felt a faint distaste about being here. After the quiet and serene wastelands of Aisko, this was just too loud and crass for her taste. She also didn't like the tense air that hung over the place...

Looking about, she saw Maslin on the edge of the platform near the sea... Finally, someone she knew! I've really got to meet more people, she thought to herself as she unfurled her large grey wings and flew over to where he was. I seem to spend all of my time in the wilds so I don't know too many people...

"Hey Maslin, no smith's apron today?"
She asked with a smile as she landed and re-furled her dual wings back into their hiding place.

Tilawen

The red headed woman could only cast looks of disdain upon the one male she would consider 'friend'. And even then she wasn't sure if that was the right word to use for him...'headache' at the moment felt more appropriate. Since he no longer was being dragged away by her instead having turned to face her she realized a bit belatedly she was still clutching his sleeve and dropped it without a word. Her green gaze moved towards the feathery fluff ball named Abellio and now it too was calling her by that nickname.

About to state that she didn't like that nickname she was interrupted by the little keindred's sudden announcement of Eironda's missing bonded. To be honest she had only glimpsed the girl up front but hadn't bothered to pause or stop as her entire focus had been on Junjie. Now that she had him here and 'safe' (though this crowd was like a ticking time bomb just waiting to erupt into hostile actions) she was able to focus on other things.

Turning her head slowly she peered up ahead, noting that Eironda was indeed up front with the leaders even. A frown creased through her face, not that it was uncommon to find her frowning. Returning her gaze to Junjie that frown remained.

"I knew I would find you here....what are you...nuts?" The hybrid girl hissed to him, her hand tightening on the staff she carried indicated her annoyance.

Xenosa

After the confrontation with her family, Daesat had found Xenosa while walking back to her grandmother’s home. They’d talked about what had happened, and Xen discovered that her instructor always had her apprentice followed at all times so they could know where she went. It didn’t bother the younger Orderite as much as it should have; maybe it was because she had expected such a thing from her elder. This time it proved that it had helped Daesat find her, because as it happened Xenosa was about to leave the comfort of Serenia for some unknown location. It was the first time she’d be leaving the very soil under her feet, and she was excited. Of course, if Dae had told her why they were leaving maybe she wouldn’t have left to begin with.

The boat they took seemed to be abuzz with something, Xenosa had heard rumors but nothing concrete and Dae made sure to keep her apprentice in the dark. Something had definitely happened, but as to what it was, Xen hadn’t a clue. She was aware of the fact that Dae hadn’t told her what had happened, but didn’t ask any questions. Letters came and went as Xen stayed in a small cabin with her instructor, the days went by and finally Daesat told her they’d be arriving soon. Again, no more info was given to Xenosa, but she followed and stayed quiet, learning from watching instead of asking questions. Maybe, just maybe she should have asked what everything was about, but it felt like she was going to learn the why very soon.

The boat took them to a large crowded area, and once off the boat Daesat turned towards Xenosa. “I need you to blend in with the crowd, don’t talk to anyone and just listen for gossip. Listen carefully Xenosa, because whatever information you gather might be important. You will meet me at the boat once everything is sad and done, not before and certainly not after. Do you understand? I’m leaving you on your own here; I need to see to a few things.” Xen had nodded and Dae had plunged into the thick crowd, it didn’t take very long for it to swallow her up and Xen to lose track of her. Sighing softly, Xen headed first to the outskirts of the large crowd. She’d been walking and listening to some men when she walked right into something, she’d tuned quickly to come face to face with an old looking Drakein. Having never met one, and rarely seen one in person, Xen stared at it.
