He was a drakien that planned and he wasn't the type of creature who let things go. If you attack him and hurt him he would make sure that you pay for it in the end. And so after being attacked by a aryala dragon from the sky he made sure to watch this particular dragon and note its habits. It was harder to hide in a place that was full of sand, so the dark skinned drakien moved to watching from a distance.
It was a rather stupid creature. It was no wonder it had try to attack him as it was pretty pathetic at trying to hunt for smaller creatures. It only seemed to succeed in hunting things that were about its own size using its brute force and ferocity to kill things. Of course this reminded him of another drakien he knew and he had a fairly easy time figuring out how to bring down this annoying cur.
The plan was simple, give himself a small cut. Make the cut look like some terrible wound he is suffering from. Make sure that the dragon flew over and saw him and then attack went it tried to attack him. Simple and effective. He loved seeing the rather surprised looks on the faces of his victims that turn into terror when he struck.
The bait was set, he limped tiredly along the dessert head drooping as he acted as if he was dying of thirst, the smell of his blood would bring about the ranvenous Ayrala dragon and sure enough he spotted the shadow cross over the sands, he attempted to not grin as the shadow grew larger and larger until the dragon landed in front of him. Now that was curious. He had expected that the dragon would just strike at him from behind. But he would play along.
Lifting his head weakly the dragon was studying him, as if wondering if this was too good to be true. Backing up Dayphir stumbled and fell to his side. He made a note to make sure that he washed himself well after this. Moving towards him he waited he flinched and feigned weakness. When the other dragon finally decided that it was time to strike he reared up his jaws reaching for the dragons jugular.
Latching on he hung on like an iron trap before the dragon finally fell over and twitched before dying. Licking his lips the drakien rose and shook his body to free the sand that had gathered on his side. An orb was now all that was left of the beast and he gladly took it.
