The Rose garden in Snow's house is, I feel, at least, so important that it deserves its own topic. Fun fact: The scene involving it in which it becomes the most important in the trilogy is in Mocking Jay. In the second book, Catching Fire, the reader is shown alluded to the fact that there is one when Katniss smells blood and roses when Snow comes into her house to say he isn't convinced with her act of being lovesick over Peeta. The rose garden scene involving Snow and Seneca in the first movie was added.
