Lux Noctoro Square is one of the more popular areas in Luimira which has many different streets and paths that could take you anywhere in the city. Many buildings cover the area with all sorts of stores, clubs, business, etc.

Maybe this one, unlike many others, understood they needed to get along, even in the slightest, to keep their country afloat. It was unlike Velox to strike up a conversation, and he was much more related to a dog than a feline but he couldn't help to be so curious as to ask.
"What made you follow me upon this mission?" he asked as he stopped to allow the vampire to catch up with him. Allow he spoke his eyes did well, alongside his nose and ears, to scan the square. If there was one place a group of protesters would let beasts run wild it would have definitely been the "shopping center" of Luimira for it was more than well populated all hours of the day. Alistair didn't rush or anything, as there didn't seem a need to. Though when he caught up, he was caught off guard by Velox's question. He honestly hadn't known why he followed the werewolf, especially on a mission. Nor did he want to dive into his reasoning. "What made you wanna call me a leech?" In truth, perhaps neither of them wanted to answer these questions. Either way, Alistair, like Velox, didn't like to strike up conversations. He preferred to get to know someone in combat before speaking to them for a long duration of time. "What are we here for?"

As the two shinobi speak with each other the large crowd that surrounded the whole square would block a series of merchant like caravans heading across the far right roads with the beds covered with tarps and other fabrics. The caravan vehicles ran quietly by the crowds trying to make their way the southern roadway heading towards some of the warehouses at the far end of the sqaure. These would bring up much attention other than small escort vehicles beside them with "Blight" follower ensign on the doors and some of men in back of the beds there.

Of course he wanted to respond that the hostilities began with Velox, but that didn't matter. He wouldn't dwell that subject. But instead he wondered why Velox would follow ignorant stereotypes. Even for a werewolf, he seemed smarter than others. But no. To say that every Vampire drinks from the living is wrong. Alistair had a different system, and would never feed on a living creature unless they wanted him to."Do not always believe what you hear. A few vampires should not account for the species. Subjecting me to prejudice would be ignorant on your part." To be honest, Alistair did not care for kings. They were useful to some extent, but their usefulness ends with politics. But at least he'd warm up after this mission. Hearing the crowd getting louder, Alistair prepared himself. He wasn't sure about Velox's profession, but essentially Alistair could slip by the crowd. "Let's get started."

They mission details claimed they would attempting to smuggle monsters into the square. Whatever Velox smelled, it wasn't normal. As his partner said the lycan began to make his way swiftly throughout the crowd. A single shuriken held within his hand. The ninja had been storing a significant amount of energy into the throwing utensil held currently. "Strike after I create the opening," he spoke to Alistair as they walked forth. It would only be a matter of time before his technique was ready to be placed into effect. After such he'd aim to eliminate their forces in a single, fell swoop. Energy Pool: 1800-250=1550

Alistair had judged Velox too soon. As soon as he saw the glare in the shuriken, Alistair knew that Velox was just like him. Velox was a ninja. Though stronger than Alistair, the vampire wouldn't let the werewolf finish the mission on his own. Where Alistair lacked in experience, he excelled in tactics. He followed close by Velox, remaining hidden in the crowds, unlike the werewolf, by melding in with the shadows of the people in the crowd. He easy slipped through the crowd, preparing to strike when Velox released the skill.

▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Velox smiled a bit. He could recognize the skill of a shinobi anywhere for he was one of the first to serve Nocturne. It was more than a pleasure to see that the two opposing races could share, in a sense, a common interest.
Once the man got right up to the caravan, but still concealed by the cover of the crowd, he threw the shuriken. The bladed star ripped through the air and wedged itself into the side of one of the vehicles. He aimed as close to the middle of the entirety of the caravan as possible for when the blade stuck it imploded. Yes, imploded. Not erupted or exploded but, instead, the star began to suck in everything within a fifty foot radius. Anything below the equivalent to S-Rank material - skin, bone, flesh and all - would find itself drawn towards the hira shuriken and simply crushed. Energy Pool: 1550

As the vehicle had started to go into itself along with a few other of the vehicles the cries of the men being sucked in filled the air. The lycans move had seemed to have wiped out most of the caravan keeping two of the vehicles in tact. Ten men had spilled out of these two vehicles with one of them shouting out to his comrades. "Dont let him get to Gaven!" This small group of soldiers would be made up of two paladins, five gunmen, and three dreadnoughts already transformed in to their carapaces. From what they were armed with they were of knight class. The vehicle closest to the men had a cloaked figure passed out against the air bag of the vehicle not moving but a breathing sound could be heard.

Alistair had indeed been impressed by the Hira Shuriken, as he did not even know such a skill existed. When the ten men poured out of the two remaining caravans, Alistair remained hidden, easily staying melded into the shadows of those running. While remaining hidden, Alistair prepared two shurikens after looking at the two Paladins. After each gleaned with energy, he threw one each at the paladins. Though, they were hidden from view. The Paladin's wouldn't see it until the shurikens were only a few feet from lodging into their heads.

His intent was to take out the gunslingers first. They were long range and the furthest he could go was, in a sense, mid-range. Each individual shuriken was charged with energy as he launched them forth. Upon leaving his hand the shuriken would not appear before their targets until a mere three feet away. When they the shuriken did come close enough, however, they would explode merely several inches away from the gunslingers. Two shuriken per each gunslinger would erupt into flames as they exploded, making the explosion that much more large and dangerous.

The stars would start to come at the group all at once making the gunslingers to start unleashing twenty round magnum rounds his way before the stars would explode taking out their group. They were paniced after the vehicles were so quickly destroyed making them not think at all. Thou the stars heading for paladins would fail as the paladins themselves would head to the sides trying to escape the blast causing the stars to miss. One of the paladins would have their blade start to shine brighrly with holy magic while the other would summon holy chains to grip the shinbi infront of them to give them time to close in. The dreadnoughts would all soon start form shotguns from their carapaces in one hand keep their swords in the other as they would watch carefully

It had only just occurred to Alistair that these foreigners were exactly what their name implied. Foreign. They did not know how to fight in the eternally dark city of Luimira, but Velox and Alistair did. With that in mind, Alistair began to call forth a thick fog to surround the entire area, limiting the foreigner's capabilities. It was then that Alistair found the Paladins once more, even through the fog. A shuriken would purposefully whizz by them, striking the ground with a barely audible clanging sound, drowned out by the several yells from the others. It was in that unexpected location where the shuriken struck the ground that Alistair emerged from it's shadow, quickly lunging at both of them in one fell swoop with his Kodachis. The paladin's would have no possible way of guessing that Alistair could utilize such a skill, and would surely be taken by surprise.

The flash of a muzzle and pop of a bullet was all Velox needed to take off into a mad sprint. Several "pings" could be heard as a few bullets ricocheted off the titanium armor beneath his trench-coat, scattering the coat with a few holes. The most he had felt was a slight burn from the heat of the impacting bullets but that was not what was of his concern. He stayed more than focus upon the remaining soldiers as he made his way toward the lead vehicle they seemed to take position about. It was more than clear that the one passed out within it was Gaven. If he had to take a guess he'd bet he was also the leader or else they would not have bothered calling for his defense.
As he ran he noticed the chains of Holiness which lashed out toward him. The man seemed to suddenly excel further in speed(+2) as he dropped for the floor, chains flying right over his head, and continued to run upon all fours before he stood briefly. His hands reached back into his shuriken holster and drew eight shuriken, each glowing a dull white, which he flung at the remaining five knights. It did not matter whether or not these shuriken reached their target or not for they "exploded" within the air. The explosion produce a flash of light from each individual shuriken causing for a massive shine of light that would blind those looking in his direction, at the time being all five men.
The flash would more than produce a cover for him to flee and seek shelter within a nearby shadow of the protester's vehicle. It was there he slipped into the shadows and became virtually invisible. While he waited for his opportunity to strike once again the nails upon his fingers began to grow to a length of three inches. They grew to become razor sharp and as hard as the metal which he wore for armor. He would wait for Alistair to create an opening for him to strike once more.
