Bright stars shown down from the heavens illuminating the dark ocean with tiny speckles of light; the moon was large and radiant, for it was larger than normal and made the night appear like it was almost day. It was a truly lovely night. Aderyn yr Eira Duliisdi wished that she was as eloquent as her father in creating stories, for this night would make for a perfect setting. It could lead to a tale of horror, of love, of adventure, the possibilities were endless. Images popped into her head, stories that were told and stories that would remain untold filtered through her head, almost as if they had truly happened. Her imagination was one that continued to soar, she always dreamt of epic adventures and wished that for once they could become true.
A sigh escaped the mare, she so adamantly wished for a stallion to save her or for her to save a stallion, have them do something heroic or something like slaying a dragon. But they were just stories, the only truths were in the past and they did not appear to be coming to the present. Her silver eyes looked out once again over the black ocean, its waves creating a constant rhythm in the night, as she stared up at the sky, lured in peacefulness from the ocean, a single bright star fell from the sky in a long beautiful arch. She closed her eyes and made a wish, I wish to have my own story worth telling.
