 Hiding near some bushes, Sparrow patiently watched the trail leading from the forest to the clearing. It was one of her favorite games, a game she called 'pouncing.' To play was simple: wait for someone to unsuspectingly come through the forest, then pounce them and see how long it takes for them to knock you off.
Usually, however, she would just end up sitting alone for hours, carefully watching the empty trail, still if not for the wind shuffling leaves and flowers around or the occasional running animal.
Maybe today would prove different.

Aella had wandered away from her mother, she had been let off from her hair, as disappointing as that was, and had decided to go see where this other Pae was that was apparently like her, she didn't really want to stay around and be bored whilst she waited for her mother to finish up with whatever it was that she was talking to the other about so she annoyed her mother as gently as she could till she was let down with a warning about no leaving her sight and looked around, wondering where Sparrow was, looking back at her mother talking she was too busy with that so she walked off and slipped out the door and walked off toward the forest, thinking that the beach wasn't all that interesting to play in so the forest had to be better...or at least she thought so, the beach just seemed boring to play on unlike the forest.

The birds eyes had begun to grow heavy as she sat in the bush, the warm sun's rays and soft lake breeze coercing her into a lull of drowsiness. If not for the sounds of approaching footsteps, she very well may have fallen asleep; it wouldn't be the first time it had happened. Blinking once or twice, Sparrow yawned as she shook her head, getting rid of the sleep in her eyes and staring intently down the road. She could see the person clearly, that bird, Aella, that she had met some while ago. Every once in a while she came to play, but it had been some time since they last had met.
Yet, she was still falling for the same-old trap.
Grinning to herself, the bird watched her 'pray' intently as she came closer, waiting for just the right moment before springing forward, hoping that she'd make the contact she wanted.

Though her grandfather was a hunter Aella wasn't the smart huntress like she knew she should be, her mother was terrible at it and her grandfather was in jail...whatever that was, so she hadn't exactly had a chance to learn what these hunting skills were like and so anyone wishing to pounce on her or even attack her...yeah, she could do nothing about it, she didn't even know the basic skills in how to defend herself like some basic skills, like her mother has mentioned before, could help her out in some situations but she didn't have the skills to react a certain way so whilst she knew walking down the road wasn't exactly safe she was just enjoying her time away from her mother and it was a beautiful day so really, she didn't care what happened to her as long as she could enjoy the sun.
((If bad reply is bad, forgive me, I can edit it, lately my brains just been blah on certain different rps, I'm sorry. ^^; ))

Sparrow grinned, her instinctive nature proving effective as she made contact with the other, knocking her over onto her back. Holding her wrists down with her hands and straddling her waist, the smile twisted a bit to take a more devious look. "Got'cha Aella!" Her body was tensed and ready to resist any movements to get free of this hold.
There was something about having someone else so... defenseless... So forcefully open to her... in her possession... it felt wonderful.Nafretiti Is kay. there's two other rps for you to glance at whenever you feel like it too, so just rp in whichever one you have a muse for at the moment. Also, I'm totally prepping the personalty development for her to be quite a possessive teenager XD

Aella could do nothing, the other was too fast and so, in seconds, she had ended up on her back and tried to squirm a little but couldn't really do much else but before trying to protest she looked up at the other and grinned "hi Sparrow!" She said as she just stayed where she was, not that she had a choice anyway "I see you are practising your hunting, more then what I have been doing, Though, thanks to mommy I have decided to take an interest in clothes, Papa, he is a designer and she wore a dress he made to some dance where she found me, apparently it was pretty and so ever since then I have been wanting to remake it for her and it is actually quite fun, but anyway, how are you? Besides, of course, pouncing on unsuspecting Pae."

Sparrow sad straight up, letting go of Aella's hands and instead letting them fall to her side. "Wow, you sure do know a lot of big words Aella! That's amazing!" Pausing, she tilted her head. "I didn't know you had a papa...? What's he like? My Uncle 'Lantis has to go in the water a lot otherwise his skin gets all wrinkly and stuff. I dunno..." She shrugged. "It seems a bit backwards to me." Without moving to get off of her, she grinned. "So, what's up with you?"

"Mommy has been using them, I just have been asking her what each word means and so I have learned a little bit from her" she said as she was happy to stay where she was "I don't know if you would call him my Papa really, he was the one who went with mommy to the dance, mommy says he isn't but he does seem kind from what mommy tells me about him" she said, putting her arms under her head "is Uncle 'Lantis one of those fish Pae?" She asked curiously, having been told a little about them from her mother but giggled 'it does seem a bit backwards but it also makes him sound cool" she said and just tried to shrug "nothing much, been wanting to visit Poppy mostly but I can't, mommy says I am not allowed inside the Tree so I have to wait till he comes home.
So, since we both are here, want to play a game together?" She asked "that is, unless you care to sit on me all day" she said grinning at her friend.

Sparrow nodded. "Yeah! I think he called himself a na-i-ad or something. He's the only one I've seen though, so I guess he doesn't have a lot of friends outside of our moms. You know what?" She leaned in again, happy to spread what seemed like the juiciest secret ever, "I think he likes my mom~" Giggling, she sat back up, wiggling her wings uselessly behind her with each laugh.
"Oh, a game sounds fun!" Placing her hands to either side of Aella, she used them to balance herself as she stood her leg up, and then pushed herself off the ground to stand up completely before stepping off of her.

"Thats sad, he needs to get friends, they make things SO much better!" she said as she giggled "thats nice! So what about her?" She asked curiously "I guess she doesn't like him? Or she doesn't know?" She asked as she sat up once the other moved "and lets see...what game should we play?" She asked rhetorically, thinking a little "what about Hide and Seek?" She suggested "unless you have an idea..."

"I know right? Mom doesn't seem interested, so I hope he doesn't get his hopes up. It'd be really sad if she found someone else while he liked her so much." She paused in her thoughts, shaking her head. "Nope, I don't think so. Not at all really. Guess she's a bit dense though to not notice it; that, or she's just being mean. I hope it's not the latter." Quickly standing herself up, her wings fluttering uselessly on her back as she did so, she took a strong pose. "Hide and seek it is!"
Running away, she shouted, "You're it!"

Aella sat there, about to reply to her friend when she ran off, pouting a little she grinned "fine!" She called, not that she had a chance to object anyway and so she closed her eyes to count "1...2...3..." she started, giving her ample time to find herself a hiding space.

Sparrow moved about, creating quite a bit of ruckus in the meantime, as she searched for a hiding spot. The perfect hiding spot. Coming across a hollowed-out tree trunk laying on it's side, she carefully squeezed herself in and closed her eyes as she waited for her friend to finish counting.

"4...5...6..." she continued till she got to 10 and then opened her eyes "ready or not, here I come!" She called out, watching where her friend ran off to before stopping around the area she thought she might have ran and stopped and looked around "now, where are you?" She said to herself as she looked behind a near by tree and didnt find her before looking over at a bush and looked behind it, not there either and walked past the log her friend was hiding in, thinking that she probably wouldn't like 'darkish places' she didn't bother looking inside it.

Sparrow covered her mouth to stipple a laugh as she saw Aella's claws walk past the log without stopping. How long would it take for her to realize that her friend wasn't hiding in a conventional sort of hiding spot.
