✥ Characters :: Yun and Akemi
            ✥ Location :: Makai Castle.

Akemi was finally back after her mission. She had never really seen Makai Castle as a home, she did not live here, nor did she intend to. However this did not mean she did not have to report back and refresh her gear. The wannabe Blackheart in training was tired, it was long past midnight before she returned to the grounds and she was battered and broken from the last assault. She entered the main hall and went to turn into the Barracks, however she soon stopped to look at the long staircase that lead to the Academy. She sensed something... dark. How could that be? Marcus? No. Who would dare to enter the home of the Knights?... bold and foolish. The red-head sighed, it looked like she would get no sleep tonight.

She walked up the grand staircase. Ears twitching in anticipation, her heightened sense of smell making her nostrils dance as she walked. Blood, she smelt blood. This was so troublesome! She was not meant to be in this place or interact with the students, however she was sure more trouble would follow if the ignored the threat. Never the less, she decided to sneak around, be it a false alarm. These damn Knights and their rules, everything always had to be so complicated for no reason. She sighed again, still stiff, still aching... but ready to fight again if need be.

Before long she found herself in the dorms. She walked from door to door. Lurking, listening, stepping as lightly as she could. What were these students up to? Something that smelt a lot more sinister than underage fondling it seemed. It was not long before she found the door that she needed, she paused for a moment, and then put her hand on the handle, pushing it open and stepping inside. Without knocking, ofcourse.

User ImageThe night had been uneventful for the boy. Once school had let out for the day, Yun had made a beeline for his room, determined this time to really and truly practice his magic. He had been neglecting it, doing just enough to get by for school. It embarrassed him, the fact that he hesitated to use what he had been granted at birth. He was a Majin, what did he have to fear in the darkness?

So there he sat, on the floor of his dorm room, surrounded by candles to calm his mood. The light in his room was off, it was quiet, all was still.

Yun had left his uniform jacket hanging off the side of the bed, and now had his sleeves rolled high. Marks littered his arms - some old, having scarred, some new and freshly bleeding. The knife at his side was the culprit, covered in droplets of his own blood. It was a gruesome task, but he had to get better at this. Closing his eyes, Yun put himself into a meditative state.

Arm extended in front of himself, Yun furrowed his brow and focused on it. Slowly, from the open wounds formed objects made of his own blood; various shapes took form, his current inspiration being a deck of cards. He smiled wryly at the memory associated with cards. Damn that woman, so troublesome. He focused again, no time for memory lane and all that.

Heart. diamond, spade, club. They all rose from his arm, trails of blood connecting object to wielder. One by one they disconnected and hovered in the air. A wide smile spread across Yun's face as he made them dance a little. It was getting easier to control them, that was certain. He could easily move multiple objects, he just had to be careful to avoid using too much of his own resources and... kill himself.

That was what made this so exhausting after a while. If he could just use someone else's blood, it would be much, much easier. And much more beneficial to his studies.

He didn't have the balls to do it, yet, though.

The sound of his door opening confused him to the point of swiveling around in his spot on the floor, eyes wide in confusion. The manifested blood fell to the floor all around him, now puddles that would ultimately stain his dorm floor. "s**t!" he gasped, standing quickly. He stepped out of the circle of candles, knocking one over. "s**t!"

Yun stooped quickly to put it upright, then braced himself for what was barging into his room. Blood had splattered all over his uniform, the floor, the candles... it was a mess. He cursed a thousand times in his head and bit his lip angrily.

"Who's there?" he demanded, shoulders tense.

Akemi did not hesitate on entering the room, or shutting the door behind her to make sure any interactions that took place inside were private. With a flick of her wrist her shadow magic engulfed the handle, mangling the object and leaving it locked and broken. She did not need to worry about the boy running away and calling for a teacher, despite what she was about to observe, finding a trainee Blackheart in a students room... it would lead to questions.

Te wolf girl ignored his cursing and his questions. The scene she had walked into was interesting and instantly grasped her attention. Blood. She shook her head and smiled, her senses did not fail her this time. The she-b***h approached his, now ruined, circle of candles, kneeling down before them in a calm manor. Candles. They stirred up memories of that night, the first night she had met a blood witch, the night she had sold her soul to him. Was that why she was here now? Was she forever connected to this kind of magic? A hand raised and resting on her neck, the scars remaining from his bite.

She reached over and picked up the blade, the marks on his arms told her that this blood was his... but she wondered. Bringing the object to her mouth, her tongue emerged to lick off the droplets slowly, like she was savoring the flavor - She could taste magic. Satisfied with her analysis of the situation she spun the object around in her fingers casually, before holding it by her side, her one red eye vibrantly shining under the skull that hid half of her face.

Students. They were so adorable. Especially when they looked to tense. This one seemed particularity so, she did not know if it was because he was covered in blood like a slaughtered lamb, or that his eyes were so bright and youthful...

"Calm down. I am not going to hurt you. I was just curious - It seems like you have made quite a mess."

Her voice was light, a little more than a whisper. She paused, her fingers reaching over and snuffing out the life of one of the candles, tipped over and still burning.

"Not many people partake in such activities... It must take its tole."

Still holding the weapon the woman leaned back, crossing her legs and using her hands to support her feminine frame. Her eyes did not leave him though, incase he did prove to be hostile. Needless to say she planned on staying here for quite a while, her relaxed posture suggesting to him that he should get comfortable too.
