Thamin Hmmm..... *tosses Adaya* Adaya snorted and glared daggers at the two-legger for her actions. ZappyKit Howler, staying near to the tree line for the time being, seated with his tail slightly tucked along his paws and curled to the front slightly, watched the two-legger and the spirit-horse. "Two-leggers..." he murmured a bit, not sounding too fond of them at all. "Are you alright, Spirit-Horse?" Thamin Adaya turned and eyed the wolf for a moment, her glare only lessening slightly. "They have their uses and purposes, but I dislike how they think they have any sort of control over us." She murmured before shaking out her pelt. "And I am quite alright. I still am quite hearty and nimble, despite my age..." ZappyKit Howler nodded. "I can tell. Not yet prey... Not yet at least" he cocked his head to the side slightly, ears pricked for a moment, before one swiveled to listen to other sounds at the same time. "I am Howler, and you are...?" he asked, normally not one to speak to the strange-colored creatures, but this one didn't seem to have young around to protect at the moment, so he felt no need to be quite as cautious as usual. Thamin "Oh, I have been prey before..." Adaya noted with a raised brow to the smaller creature. "But I am still here and that is all that matters." She paused and eyed the creature over, nodding a greeting to the wolf. "My name is Adaya - and a raccoon name Balidy is around here somewhere. He prefers to be on his own almost as much as I do. And... from how things seem to be, you as well." ZappyKit Howler's ears both went forward again attentively. "Perhaps. My pack has put me on a quest for the time being, a large pack would not be wise to hang around for it however." he replied, glancing around a bit for the mentioned raccoon with a bit of a narrowing of his eyes. Raccoons were strange creatures, ones he hadn't had many experiences with since he was a pup, but none the less, they were better kept an eye on. He raised to all fours, stretching himself out a bit before padding silently over to the Soquili called Adaya. "Most get nervous with even one around. Not you spirit-horses though, some of you seem to even adopt my kind as something akin to pack, or as close as your kind can come to pack." he noted. Thamin "A quest you say?" Adaya quipped curiously before dropping her head to search for an appropriate place to graze. The smaller creature seemed to be relaxing a bit, finally coming within appropriate conversation distance. "Oh, I wouldnt say that most become nervous - but most do not trust easily." Adaya said with a nod. "In an eat or be eaten world one can only be so trusting before it gets you killed. But yes, we do form a sort of bond with other creatures. It is more or less, for me anyways, a mutually beneficial relationship. Not necessarily a pack, not like family, but more like a friendship." ZappyKit "Hard to say when one dosen't know what it's like to be in a pack." Howler replied, nodding towards a patch of flowers nearby. "I've seen others of your kind eat those, seemed they rather liked them as well." he commented, looking around again, for the raccoon. "Though I suppose what your kind calls a 'herd' is like a pack in many ways... hm. Maybe not so hard for you to compare then, I suppose." he amended himself.
