Uke sweetly sang away, gathering his supplies. He noticed the other male sink and couldn't help but toss things directly at him. It seemed that this larger male was not here to attack him so he could relax a little. When the question was directed at him he stopped then grabbed his bag dragging it, trying to gesture for the other to follow him. He didn't usually show what he did to other beta, but for some reason he felt some trust. Dragging his supplies along he headed to his cave trying to explain in his singing way. What the other was going to see would really tell Uke what kind of male this was.

At the back though were the ones Uke really worried for. Babies. Some still in the egg, other as small innocent fry. Uke cared for each and all till they were able to care for themselves, or till their families came for them.

He couldn't help himself - he swished over to a glowing piece of moss and poked it. The bioluminescent plants were so perfectly placed to make it feel homey and safe. He kept following it till the cave got brighter and the cave got more welcoming, and the walls smoother. It wasn't till Nexus stopped following the moss-map that he actually looked at where he was. It was astounding - an entire nursery! Eggs in one confined, well protected, area, and sweet fry in another. He took a quick glance around, just double checking that no one else was here. "You take care of them all by yourself?" He couldn't mask the shock from his voice.
