___[ W e a p o n r y: ] Coiled Senbon Cost: 両 20 Ryo Description: Specially designed senbon which have razor spun around them to give a sort of screw-like appearance. They possess far greater damaging potential than a normal senbon, but cannot be thrown quite as easily due to their shape and weight.
|Winter's Tooth ( Senbon ) |Cost: 両 70 Ryo |Description: Extremely long, white senbon. Roughly two feet in length, these needles are more like miniature javelins than anything else. However, they still maintain generic senbon width, and can easily be snapped in half. It's not exactly clear what these weapons are used for, but it's fairly obvious it's nothing nice.
Snowflake Shuriken Cost: 両 20 Ryo Description: Specially designed white shuriken from Snow Country, shaped like a crystal flake of snow. Unlike the standard version, the four points of this shuriken are branched, giving it far more rending potential.
|Seedling Shuriken |Cost: 両 20 Ryo |Description: Specially designed dark green shuriken from Autumn Country, shaped like a seed with wrapping roots. Unlike the standard version, the four points of this shuriken are curved inward to form a whirlpool pattern, giving it far more slicing potential.
Wafer Kunai Cost: 両 20 Ryo Description: Extremely flat throwing kunai, six inches long, roughly the width of twenty sheets of paper, and shaped like a metal nail file. This kunai is far more aerodynamically designed than the standard version, but completely unable to compete with actual weapons in a close-range clash. Often considered a light-medium weight projectile.
|Double-Headed Kunai |Cost: 両 75 Ryo |Description: Kunai with two pointed ends, slightly longer grips, and a hole in the center. It is more commonly used as a close-range spinning weapon, rather than a medium weight projectile.
Snake Tongue Kunai Cost: 両 125 Ryo Description: Kunai with an end that forks apart and then coils inward to form two angled points. This kunai is composed of heavier metal than the standard version, and is thusly better suited for brutal churnings after a successful stab. Almost never used as a projectile.

The second mission that had fallen into their lap apparently was a protection mission. Considering what he had gone through recently Atsuko was surprised at himself he was so comfortable at the thought of fighting again but to be fair he was a lot more prepared this time a long. Set of sharingan, a full taijutsu up to the fourth set, these two alone were enough to make him a lot better in a fight. However he kept his sharingan deactivated for this mission, he didn't need it spread that he was a uchiha....yet.
The target they were protecting was someone who suspected that a local gang would be attempting to rough up their store and soon. With the tsunami flooding in it provided the perfect opportunity for such an event to happen under the radar of local authorities, with all of the clean up and general chaos giving good cover. When the pair arrived Atsuko spoke with the shop keeper and got the bare details.
It was straight forward. Stay at the shop for the day and keep it safe, if anyone showed up to rough people up then they'd stop them. After the day was over they'd receive a payment, easy.
Atsuko himself set up outside of the shops door, leaning against the wall of the building with his hands in his pockets and eyes on the streets. They hadn't been given any specific descriptions for what to look out for beyond it'd be hellah obvious when it started. And oh boy was it. A group of six men approached the shop, all talking among each other. The clothes they wore, the scowls on their faces, all of it pointed to trouble. Then out of near no where one of them threw a stone directly towards the window of the shop. In instinct to the sudden movement his sharingan did activate, something he didn't have much control over at the time, and he managed to catch it mid air. "We got company".
When the thugs realized that the pair had to be hired for protection they split off, three heading towards Atsuko and the other three to Artemis. The uchiha held his position as he watched them come to him, with a few brash warnings being thrown his way to get out of here before he got hurt. Once they were an arms length away and the insults only increased Atsuko gave one that look, something that was more of pity then anger, before his stance shifted into shooter stance.
SMACK
The first thug went down clutching his throat, the others barely registering the fact that their friend had been hit until he went down. Atsuko ducked under the blow that followed after wards, fist immediately greeting the other thugs jaw. Finally the third would come in to attempt to hit him as he was crouched, only to be dodged by a hairs breath away and get a nasty round house into his kidney.
This left two of them unconscious, and the last more then hurting. With the rest of em likely dispersed at this point Atsuko merely pointed away from the shop, making his point clear to the third to leave. How quickly a man will change when he's suddenly not at an advantage. ________________________________________________________________ ◆¦ CHAKRAx 410 / 410x◆¦ STAMINAx 130 / 210x◆¦ RYOx 1950x◆¦ ACx 2350 ◆¦ TAMER / NINJUTSU x◆¦ D-RANK ROGUEx◆¦ SHISHINx◆¦ UCHIHA x◆¦ DRAGONxxxxx

If she wasn't a savior, she was a protector. At least, that's what it would look like on her resume according to these missions. She was going to be some shop keeper's body guard for a little while. If she could scare away the thugs permanently, she wouldn't have to stay until the keeper's boots quit shaking.
She was always more of a confrontational problem solver anyways. She cracked her knuckles out of boredom over intimidation, since no one had arrived yet. She was about to complain to Atsuko about the lack of action when a stray rock went flying at them. Atsuko caught the rock like a freakin' ninja.
She nodded her approval at the sight, catching the barest glimpse of his red gaze as it narrowed on the threat. She took one last glance at her partner - impressed, if not just a little envious - before turning back to the problem at hand. Six wannabe gangsters were coming their way. If they were trying to be subtle or stealthy, they failed.
They could easily be pegged as good-for-nothing's based on their general disposition alone. Hostile posture, possessive gazes at everything around them. Loud mouthing and generally acting like they owned the streets. Not if she had anything to do about it!
She wasn't stupid enough to let three men get close enough to her to take advantage of the numbers. She readied her fists, her left closing tight around the brass knuckles there. One of them had the gall to laugh at her, taunting her as a 'pretty girl' and 'you look lost, blondie, what do you think you can do with that'. She didn't pretend it was anything short of pleasure to launch chakra into her left fist, channeled through her knuckle busters, and slice into the three of them while they were still half a yard away.
They screamed in unison, though their voices didn't harmonize (and wouldn't that have been extraordinarily pleasing?). She kept her chakra held on her brass knuckles, stance defensive but ready to strike. The men took a moment to re-orient themselves with the world, looking over their clothing that was now torn at the gut and slightly blood-stained now. It was nothing deadly, but nothing fun either.
She waited for them to charge at her again, but the men saw that their other comrade had retreated and decided to mimic that line of action. Artemis was definitely pleased with this mission. It made her feel powerful to send idiots crawling back home, especially when they tried to attack a defenseless, harmless shop keeper. "What punks." She turned to her partner. "What's next?" As Rinka made her last stop at the puppeteer shop, Takumi found himself wandering about until he located a local shop of wares hailing from the land of snow. "Fitting..." he said to himself as he examined a Yakuta with a snowflake emblem on its back. After searching for a bit, he purchased a few more items before leaving.
