Ah, the Murrow house! Or shoe, whichever one would prefer to label the building. It really was meant to be a house, but, well, someone had sent his shoe blueprint to the architect and the house blueprint to the shoemaker, so now they were all left with a pair of houses to put on their feet and one, large shoe to live inside. All thanks to Neil that someone who will remain anonymous. Once inside the residence, there is a combined kitchen, dining, and living room to the right all cramped into the toe of the home. Though 'cramped' may be used, it is still a fairly decent-sized area. The kitchen is just a notch above that of a room at the inn's would provide, a small counter, one fridge, and a little oven right below two cupboards. The 'dining room' is basically a round table meant for four at most close to the kitchen, with the 'living room' taking up the other half of the area.
To the left is a staircase and short hall. Going up would lead someone to a pair of equally sized rooms, while going down the hall would do the same, aside from one bathroom being squeezed in between the lower set of rooms. The only thing differing here is the residents of said rooms. The first room at the top of the stairs is the master bedroom, where Neil and Romane sleeps. The room just beyond that is Mimi's room, the teenaged and ritalin-friendly daughter of the pair! Covering the first floor, the first room is the owner' younger sibling, Catrina Murrow, with the last room being as a guest room. The last area of the home is accessible from the outside, where a door leading down to the basement lies.

Left in the mail box is a flier.
"To the guardian(s) of Mimi Murrow, Grade 12.
The schoolhouse has come under new management and, with it, a new name. To celebrate this, we will be holding a festival on Fall 1st. I hope you can come and join us, please, it would be nice if you could do it. You can meet your child(ren)'s teacher, Mr. Pearson, and even some of the other staff! If you want to, that is, please don't force yourself if you can't make it. We understand, even if I think your child would benefit a lot more if you decided to come with them and spend this quality time. Children need a lot of quality time to be happy.
Please come and volunteer if you want to.
Yoakim Jr. Waldroup Principal of Little Red Hen Schoolhouse"

It was time for Stocking Day yet again! Carnation was making wonderful little patterns as she skimmed through the snow. Ah, how she longed for the warmth of Summer to come back to her! She smiled up at the shoe ahead of her, it was good to see that familiar home again. She had two people to deliver presents to here! It made her very happy to see that young Mimi had followed in the footsteps of her aunt and had a good head on her shoulders! On the other hand, there was the fact that she hardly ever saw the girl! Why didn't she ever come to the hot springs and visit her very own fairy?! Carnation was growing very sick of the ingrates around this stupid place. She kicked at the wall as she passed through the house and found her way back to Mimi's room. Ah, there she was! She made her way over to the table and placed a small ocean breeze candle on her little table next to an envelope addressed to Mimi Murrow.
She scurried out of that room and zoomed through to Catrina's room! Catrina was a wonderful little follower, always so full of life! Carnation was glad to watch Catrina at the tomato festival, although she wished the poor thing could've done better! She needed to get those paws out in the mud more often! Carnation shook her head at the thought of that performance and zoomed over to Catrina's little night stand that appeared to have been turned into a scratch-post. She placed a small green tea scented candle wrapped with a glorious ribbon down and a small envelope addressed to Catrina Murrow next to it. With her first house down, she finally poofed away.

Stocking Day was upon them all and Hyacinth was always happy to spread gifts to her followers – or punishments, if need be. Thankfully, the first of her list wasn't someone who needed that – oh, no! Hyacinth was rather pleased with the pair she was visiting that night! The fluttering fairy poof-ed her way into the strange home of the Murrows, eying the interior with approval. Organized and clean, just as the heads of this household! Romane had improved herself quite a bit since Hyacinth had first seen her – already sheriff of the whole town and doing such a good job in keeping things in check! Well, outside of the mess up with Ilex, but Hyacinth admitted that was more her folly and not the mortal's. In any case, she headed up to the woman's bedroom and carefully cleared a section off the nightstand to set a brand new lamp for the woman! It was tall, sleek, with nothing extraordinarily special about it, but Romane was too cut and dry for anything eccentric. She was sure she would appreciate the gift. After leaving a gift for her husband, Neil – which was a matching lamp on the opposite nightstand – the fairy left without a trace to her next location.
