 All Washed Up~!
The Bahari'mtoto have lived in peace since their disagreement with the Kizingo'zaa. Both prides now exist in a state of harmony, exchanging goods and knowledge across their borders. With the lands recovering steadily from the Tsunami and then umbers slowly growing within their ranks, the Bahari'mtoto have much to be thankful for and make no mistake, they are.
Alas life cannot continue without a little drama, there must always be a little meander along the river of time and in this case, it came upon the breath of a seer. No sooner had the Bahari'mtoto settled than Euphrates, one of the prides seers, brought his pride leader to the side and spoke of a vision. It contained no darkness, there was no sense of foreboding to be had, but there was a quiet curiosity within his voice...
You see the pride were to receive a visitor; one whose origins were unknown. In the vision Euphrates had watched as he walked across the water, and henceforth pad on to the shore. Was it a god, or were they to merely assume that there would be strangers in their midst soon?
No sooner had this vision been granted than it came to pass - though it was decidedly less exciting than the pride had hoped for.
On the calmest day, with the highest tide, the leopard drifted to the shore. Unconscious and clinging to the very large long he had used as a raft, he was a shadow of the 'mighty' being from the vision. In no fit state to speak, he was brought to the healers and there he has remained. Under the careful ministrations of the healers he grows healthier every day but the pride continues to gossip and wonder...

Leopard Name: Saisiku
Relationship Status: Single
Personality: Saisiku is a bit of a a trickster, which is something thathad been developed over time, and taken years to master really. He can be grumpy and snappy at times, but he likes to tell stories, even if people aren't listening. Usually Saisiku is nice, even if he is in one of his grumpy moods. He is rather smart, and uses big words sometimes when something makes him mad, he tries to explain why this and why that, yadda yadda. He doesn't always talk much, but when he does talk sometimes he has a lot to say.
Previous Pride History: He was in a band of theives, located on the pther side of the ocean from Bahari.
Any Relatives? He had a mother, and a nonexistent father. His father was a part of another band of Theives, and Saisiku and his siblings cuddled up to their mother, not knowing what to expect or whether or not they would ever see their father or not. When Saisiku and his siblings grew, they never met their father again, learning he had died when one of his fellow theives gave them the sad news, they were doing a raid on a herd of waterbuck, when Saisiku's father was trampled by male waterbucks. They cried that night, and Saisiku decided to leave, and promised one day, he would see his mother, sisters, and one brother again some day, even if it weren't for a very long time.
What event occurred that resulted in him washing up on Bahari Shores?
Little did the Theives know he was working against them, setting them up every chance he could. When the Theives tried to steal from a rogue family, Saisiku would wake the male in the family, and the families were always greatful. One day, a couple of his fellow Theives saw him setting the others up, and got everyone in on driving him away, into the ocean to never be seen again. They knocked him unconcious, out him on a log, and pushed him out to sea. He awoke one day, and realizing where he was, he regretted doing anything to trick the Theives, but was glad at the same time. Falling asleep when darkness fell, he saw he couldn't go on without sleeping, and so he had made himself unconcious for the rest of his float into Bahari territory.
(this was when he was with the band of theivs on the other side of the ocean basically)
Future Plans? Umm...find him a mate, LOTS OF PRIDE RP! Have him be a better father to cubs than his own father? I dunno, i need to actually do some plotting, but I am bad at it, so if i win him, i will plot till my hearts content. Though if i win him and get him a mate, I want it to be a very complex relationship, because his personality is so odd sometimes, it could be a very...well complex relationship between him and a mate.

Just in case this wasnt clear, for family he had 3 sisters, and one brother. His mother was their caretaker, for their father was a theif. Yes, a backround of theives c:

Relationship Status: single/was not interested in a relationship
Personality: Bayani is quite. He doesn't speak much and usually lets his actions speak for him. He enjoys the simple things in life and could spend hours just lying down, watching the ocean come in and out. If asked a question, he will give an honest answer. When he does talk to others, he prefers to learn about them and allow them to do most of the talking. He does have a bit of self hatred, as he sees himself as weak because of some of his actions from his previous pride. He also isn't the type who can trust others easily.
Previous Pride History: Bayani was born in his pride during a time a peace. However when he was an adolescent a shift in the pride occurred. The once calm, understanding pride became one of distrust and envy. The western side of the pride was home to the members in the pride who were high ranking. They lived in the mountains. The eastern part of the pride lived on flat lands, near the ocean. They were not allowed to step foot into the mountain area. Only the high ranking members, those who were seen as blessed by the gods, were allowed up there. For years no one thought anything of it. There were signs that the gods favored some creatures over others, whether it be in the form of granting them skills or with beautiful furs. However eventually doubt creeped its way into the prides of the easterners. They thought that the mountain hid some sort of treasure that the western part of the pride was hiding from them. Late at night some members of the east would sneak up the mountain and do some exploring, though they found nothing. This put some of the easterners mind at rest, others it just fueled the distrust even more. The ones that still distrusted the west banded together, preparing to attack the west. Most of these members were tired of their placement in the pride and wanted what the west had, power. It was never meant to become the war that it did, but events in the pride kept building up and building up.

What event occurred that resulted in him washing up on Bahari Shores?
Bayani had his fair share of fighting during the war in his pride. However during the war, he had shifted sides. He was born in the east and helped them fight the war at first, mostly because he felt obligated to keep his family safe. However he didn't agree to what the east stood for. He went to the west side's and requested to join their side. At first they didn't trust him, but he proved his loyalty by offering up information about the east. He was ashamed about giving up the information, though he hoped that it would help result in the end of the war. It wasn't long until the war did end, though Bayani was on the wrong side. The west ended up surrendering. There were many more east members then there were west. Some of the west members were set free, but most were given a lower class rank. Bayani was given nether of these options. He was seen as a traitor. They wanted him to suffer, to feel isolated and alone. He was brought to the ocean and was told that he was being banished from the pride and told that if he were to return he would be killed the moment he stepped on their lands. They pushed him off and he started to drift further and further out his home slowly disappearing in front of him. He turned away and looked to the other direction, toward the never ending ocean, wondering what was waiting for him on the other side.
Future Plans?
It would be interesting to have someone from his old pride, maybe someone who left the pride, to run into him. He would want to keep most of his past a secret, as he wouldn't want anyone to know that he was a traitor. He would probably end up bribing them to stay hushed up.

Leopard Name: Nire (Estonian, rivulet)
Relationship Status: Quite quite quite single.
Personality: Nire may seem quiet, but that was always out of self-defense, considering how he was the runt of the litter, the reject, the last to be picked, etc. He learned long ago that speaking up didn't benefit him and so would stay quiet - seething in silence. He has always longed to be seen for his own worth, and not in comparison to his siblings. They were always bigger, stronger, faster, better swimmers and hunters and he was...not.
Previous Pride History: It would be hard to call this group a pride given the small numbers, but necessary, considering that it was more than a single immediate family living on the island. Legend told that a god had led the leopards there generations before, in order to give them a safe place to live and grow. Nire and those of later generations never did know what the big deal was, what threat had driven their ancestors to the small place, from which they could only see the mainland on clear days. In fact, his siblings had mostly laughed at the thought of something to fear.
Any Relatives?
On the mainland, Nire has no kin related to four degrees, given that his was the fourth generation raised on the island. There, however, he had four siblings, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.
What event occurred that resulted in him washing up on Bahari Shores? Sick and tired of being a verbal (and occasionally physical) punching bag, Nire decided one night, in front of the whole pride, to stand up for himself. The results were not encouraging as not only his siblings, but the rest of the pride, who had grown up seeing him through the same lens of weakness and insufficience as his siblings, laughed long and loud.
Furious and frustrated, Nire cursed them all and declared he would leave to seek a place and pride that would respect him for who he was, instead of scorn him for what he was not. He left that very night, diving into the cold waters to swim for the mainland.
Before he got too far out, he could hear voices, including those of his parents and one sister, calling for him to come back, that the pride didn't mean it, that things would be better if only he returned. Nire gritted his teeth and let the sound of the waves roll over him, thinking that it was such a lie, that the pride would never be able to overcome the view of him they'd held all his life.
It only took an hour or so for Nire to regret the suddenness of his decision, as the leopard found himself cold and tiring, fighting through the powerful waves, no longer even certain of his direction. It was dark as well, with the moon going down and the stars faint in the blackness of the sky. Only the best of luck allowed him to wake up enough to realize that the sudden pain on one shoulder was from a log, also adrift in the sea. With his last conscious thought, Nire heaved himself onto the piece of wood, fastening his claws into its waterlogged side and hoping for the best as darkness claimed him utterly.
Future Plans? Nire might find it hard to stay in the Bahari where, simply by his species, he is outclassed in most ways by the lions. However, depending on how laidback, casual and friendly the pride is to him, he may be convinced to stay. Being as selfconscious as he is, it would not be strange for him to take a mate from a different species, on the grounds that they would not judge him as a leopard might.
Additional Information: Nire has one skill that he never thought much of, given how his siblings belittled him. He can hold his breath underwater for longer than anyone else on the island.

Username: Lt Gnatty-Bug Leopard Name: Moab Relationship Status: Single – looking to settle down Personality: Moab was a very playful cub, very loving and trusting. He has somewhat grown out of that. He is used to being in a small community where everyone knows everything about each other, and longs for that experience again. He really wants to find somewhere he can feel safe and part of something more so than anything. Having been so hurt by his family, he is very guarded right now; he would have to have pretty decent amount of interaction with anyone if he were to trust someone again. He learned to be independent later in life, so it would be easy for him to slip back into a family/pride group again after they gained his trust. He likes to work with his paws, as he was never a very good hunter. It is not that he was a bad hunter; it is just there are others far better than he. Previous Pride History: Moab was raised in the desert in a small pride. They were the only leopards out there, so they were a very tight-knit group. However, once he came of age they basically sent him off to go find a mate, and never to come back unless he had one. It was never really his family’s tradition, but they were becoming a little, shall way say intermingled. His litter was really the first one to be sent off in this fashion. Therefore, they were not really prepared for it. He has no clue where he went, or how to get back to his family’s desert. Each of his siblings was sent in different directions, so they couldn’t even count on each other for help. So he learned to be independent. Any Relatives? He was in a litter of 3 boys and 1 girl. He was close with his brothers, but honestly does not believe he will ever see them again. Each was sent off in a different direction, so they are only growing further and further apart. He honestly never expects to see any of his family ever again, especially with how he was washed away in some unknown direction. What event occurred that resulted in him washing up on Bahari Shores? Moab had no idea what large bodies of water were actually like. Since he was in a desert, small pools from the melted overnight ice were his idea of an ocean. When he reached the coast he had no idea what to make of it. He had only ever heard of what seas were, so upon finding one he went for a swim – just a pure moment of self indulgence. He just didn’t understand clouds meant epic rain storm, and rain storm meant crazy tidal waters. He ended up getting sucked out to the ocean, nearly drowned, and clinging to driftwood for dear life to survive the storm. That is until he literally washed up on the Bahari'mtoto shores. Future Plans? I’d really like to make him a craftsman of some fashion. He is a pretty terrible hunter, surviving more on luck than skill, but wants to make use of himself somehow. Moab also wants to settle down and have a family, and watch that family grow in a safe environment. I know its silly, with him almost drowning, but I would love to RP him actually learning how to swim in the ocean with waves and things. Maybe one day have him finding a long lost family member, being conflicted about returning to the desert, but deciding to eventually stay. That would involve me finding an SoA to be his sibling though. Additional Information: …I’d totally leave him in the pride? I’m such a newblette that I like having people at the ready to RP with… Cuz I’m a little shy about asking strangers things. He’s named after a National Park National Park in Utah… Which in my mind is the theoretical location he came from. I went camping there a few years back, and it is one of the most beautiful places ever.

I'm not really sure how you pulled it off, but you actually hit the nail on the head.
Congratulations, you're the winner of this lovely leopard and you may do with him what you may, whether he stays with the Bahari or retreats into the roguelands!
For everyone else who competed - thank you muchly! I still have four other lions to give away with specific 'histories' but they're all blank slates so stay tuned for those guys. <3
