Cerys trots around looking for something to do. She had it in her mind that she was going to go greet everyone but being who she is changed her mind. So now she is just wandering around trying to figure out what she wants to do. She stopped greeting everyone when she got five away from completing her goal. She just seems to either lose interest or freak that she is so close to her goal. It can be so frustrating! Why can't she complete a goal that she sets? How will she become a strong mare if she can't complete a goal that she sets for herself? All the strong leaders can complete their goals. So why can't she? It simply isn't fair!

 Aiyala had been on the outskirts with her sister, Celiev, as they were almost always together when she noticed a little foal walking around alone. The foal didn't look too much unlike herself. "Is there something wrong, little one?" She said to the foal. Aiya hoped she didn't scare her, she walked fairly quiet.

Cerys is minding her own business when she hears a familiar voice coming from nearby. Is she? Is Aiyala, the herd leader talking to her? She looks over and starts to feel the familiar feeling of respect and a little bit starstruck. She looks up to Aiyala as she is definitely a strong mare. She leads the herd for goodness sakes! Cerys takes a moment as the words spoken sinks in. Oh what to say?! Cerys lowers her head slightly in a sign of respect." No ther-....well um...no...ok yes there is something wrong. How do you do it?! How is it that you can complete your goals! I simply can't for the life of me complete any that I give myself and it is so frustrating! It isn't fair!" She stomps her foot as she is more mad at herself then any. Her ears swivel to the side as she is frustrated again.

Aiyala chuckled to herself, so the little one was frustrated with herself because she couldn't finish anything. "It takes many things. Time. Determination. Will. Courage. And heart. You need time to learn to use your determination and will to get through any obstacle. You have to be determined and keep that determination even if you fail. You have to get back up and try it again, and that's where your will comes into play. You have to will yourself, even if you're angry or frustrated. It's okay to step back from it for a bit, but don't loose the determination. You have to be courageous, or brave, to do things you might even be afraid of. But never loose heart, no matter you angry you get, no matter how frustrated you are, no matter how many times you fail or how many times anybody tells you you're not good enough or you can't do it. You have to believe in yourself." She cracked a smile at the foal. Aiya was still getting used to being a leader, she had never really thought of herself as a leader or one that would be able to lead but apparently she was. "How about this. Let's play a little game. It will be a mixture of a scavenger hunt and hide and seek, simply because I haven't had the chance to hide things for you. I will give you clues and you'll take me where ever you think the answer is, okay?" Aiya cocked her head to the side to think first. She couldn't take the foal too far in case the little one got tired but Aiya could always take care of her. She knew Brise would take care of everything until she got back. "I have no legs or mane, my tail is not the same. I may be small, but that's okay, because my home is bigger anyway. Its big and blue but can be dark sometimes too. My home is where I'll be, come and find me!" She wondered if it might be too difficult or obscure, but she'd always help the foal with the riddles at first.

Cerys listens to Aiyala speak her words of wisdom but her attention span starts to wane. Her eyes looking at the surroundings. Yet she forces herself to look back at her family relative. They are indeed related in some way. Though she is part of a large family so it is sort of confusing as to where they fit in. " That is quite the list. Why does everything have to be connected! It gives my head a headache trying to figure out how everything is connected. She listens as Aiyala goes on about a scavenger hunt and nods. How hard can it be? Riddles are ok. It will be easy! Surely she can complete that! As she thinks about the riddle she moves her front right leg side to side in a way which she has done for as long as she's existed when she is thinking. " So tail is different....big place that lives in..." Gets three idea's. Though two are far away. So surely the ocean and the river aren't it. Maybe the lake? Cerys looks in that direction and starts off at a trot." It's a fish isn't it! This way!" She only stops when they get to the lake and she turns to Aiyala waiting to see if she is right.

Aiyala laughed as she followed the happy foal once she figured it out. She was right, and even took her to the right lake! "You're correct, Cerys." She said before looking over the water. This was once of her favorite places to go, she found it so peaceful. "Ready for the next one?" Aiya asked as she thought of the next clue. "I am small and bright, sweet or tart. I fall but I don't jump, but don't move very much. I come in different colors but my rosy skin is normally the most desired." Aiya wondered if the foal would think of the orchard near Aila's house. Damir's mother's chosen lived near an orchard and apples were one of Aiya's favorite things.

Cerys is very happy when she hears that she was correct. Happy enough to spin around in a circle once or twice. She stops when she is asked if she is ready for the next clue on this scavenger hunt. She really hopes that it is just as easy." Yes I am ready for the next clue please!" Her voice is light and holds a bit of excitement. Yet when she listens to the clue she is a bit at a loss. Rosy skin, sweet or tart.... Two things com to mind. Yet which one is correct? She starts in the direction of the orchard and the rose bushes. Roses come in many colors and the petals fall to the ground. She once tasted the petals and they were sort of weird tasting. Maybe tart. She doesn't quite remember. She stops in between the two destinations and looks both ways. " Why! What...could be two things....I think..." She takes a few steps towards the orchard and stops. Then turns around... She could try one place and if it isn't that one then it has to be the other one. And the roses are pretty as they are blooming. She will try that one first. Cerys starts to lead towards the roses and stops by the red and yellow blooms." I am not altogether sure on this one as two places came to mind. If it isn't this one I can take you to the other one."

Aiyala watched the foal spin around happily, a happy smile appearing on her face as well. With her next clue though, Aiya could see a little bit of puzzlement on Cerys' face. She had made this one a little bit harder but was happy that the foal pressed on anyway. When she stopped unexpectedly and said something about it being two places. She sure was a smart one. Unfortunately, Cerys took her to a group of rose bushes. Not far from the orchard though. "This is a good answer, but it is not correct. Would you like a hint before you take me to your next guess?" Aiya offered the foal. She could give a few more hints if she was unsure of her second guess. Aiyala took one moment to stop and smell the roses though, as cliche as that was.

Cerys looks up at the leader of the herd and when she answers that she got the wrong place she nods. Well then the orchard has to be the right place! "Oh no! If it isn't this place then I know exactly what place it is! Well I think so anyway. . This way!" She gives the other a moment to smell the flower and spins in a circle before trotting off towards the orchard. When they reach it she spins around on her heels and looks at Aiyala." It's the orchard isn't it?DId I get it right this time?" She swishes her tail excited to see if she got it right. She hopes she did or else she doesn't know if she could figure it out!

Aiyala chuckled as the foal's confidence seemed to have been boosted. This little one could do anything if she put her mind to it, she just couldn't let herself get distracted, as many foals did. "You are correct this time, the answer was the orchard." She said, reaching her neck upwards and plucking a few apples off the tree delicately before setting them down just as so. Motioning towards a few of them, she rolled them Cerys' way before choosing one to munch on herself. "One more." Aiya commented but waited for the foal to finish eating before continuing. "I can be heard, but not seen. I cannot be had by all, and some wouldn't even dare, though to have me you must declare. I am a call to rally for some but for others I shouldn't exist. Since I cannot be seen, you must take me to the place of origin. The place where half of me lies, but the other half has died." Aiyala wondered if this one would be the one that was too hard for the foal since some of it predated even her own life. She looked expectantly on the young foal wondering how she would handle this difficult one.

Cerys is happy when once again she is right. Ooh what a wonderful feeling it is when such things happen. Daintily picking up the apple she doesn't quite eat it like other Azerin. She keeps it on the ground and takes small bites. Less juice running down her muzzle. Once she is done eating she glances up at Aiyala. As the other speaks she can't help but give a look of confusion and despair. How is she supposed to know that! Her mind starts to shut down as she tries to figure it out but she keeps running into dead ends. She doesn't know! She doesn't know! Her body starts to shake as she really is trying not to give up but it is just too easy.. She hangs her head down." I don't know! I can't! I can't figure it out! It doesn't make sense! I... I... I can't do it... I give up! She hangs her head in shame as she knows that once again she will see disappointment from someone whom she looks up to.. Her heart is heavy as she awaits the familiar words that she is sure will come from the other.

Anything that Cerys was expecting would never happen, Aiyala just looked at her with a gentle smile and a thoughtful chuckle. "Don't give up so easily, little love. Just think. Lets walk through this, it's something special, that not all azrein can have. It's nothing physical, but where half of it is, you can meet her. Some azrein wouldn't even think about trying to get this, namely those evil aligned azrein with the Six. Not even we can have this because of the way we think. Think of Damir and Cecelia, what's something that they have and are able to because of the way they think verses our alignment?" She hoped she wasn't being even more confusing, but she would help Cerys out without giving her the answer.

Cerys listens and tilts her head." We can't have it because we are neutral? That just seems odd.." She grows silent as she thinks. Visit someone there... think of her parents... well they are good.. those two legged people like the good aligned ones... they live in those stick places... wait.. Is she supposed to go to a stick place? She looks at Aiyala and hesitantly looks in the direction of Aila's house... Guess it is worth a shot. She starts to walk in that direction and looks at the leader." I don't know if my thoughts are right, but I have a guess." Moving into a canter she makes her way to Aila's house.

Aiyala smiled proudly at the young foal. She had been challenged all day, and even at the point of wanting to give up, she still pushed through. It seemed that even Cerys was excited as she ran most of the way to Aila's house. "This is correct, Cerys. Do you understand how much you have overcome? If you just believe in yourself, and push yourself even when you feel like giving up, you can do anything you set your mind to. I'm so proud of you. To know that we have such bright foals in our herd gives me hope for the future." She gave Cerys a sisterly nuzzle. Taking the lesson one step further, she decided to speak on the subjects of bondeds. "While we're here, do you understand the choice of neutrality that you've chosen? I think most of us neutral azrein in the north lean more towards good than evil, we are still weary of humans. It's because of minds like yours, who will always make the right decision, that we neutral azrein can stay neutral. I believe that we will always make the best decision for our family, even the good aligned ones. And there may come a day, when our neutrality will be measured, and forced to choose one or the other. Just remember, you always have a choice, and it will always be YOUR choice, don't let anybody take that away from you."

Cerys smiles as once they reach the house her sister tells her that she is right. The proud look makes Cerys so happy. She wants to just prance and run around! She beams at her sister as she listens.To keep going and to have faith in yourself.. So that is the trick!! " I think I do! Thank you Aiyala!" She returns the sisterly nuzzle with one of her own and listens. She doesn't brush off the words but instead thinks about them. She agree's with what Aiyala is saying. In a way she already knew that. " Yes, I understand my choice. I knew when I was under the blanket that things weren't quite black and white but there was shades of grey in between. I want to make choices that I think are best for me and our family. "
