___City·of·Nocte__________________The Portal Centre ✧ Found in the very center of Nocte, this is a large complex of glass walled buildings that houses The Portal which brings in the different humans across all the others worlds and times into the City of Nocte. This also houses the Portal Institute which was granted the responsibility of taking all the newly arrived humans and integrating them into the populace of Nocte. Horto Mara Park ✧ Found in the very center of Nocte surrounding the Portal Centre Complex. ✧ The Walk
-- Just immediately surrounding the Horto Mara Park, is a cobblestone lined road circling both the Portal Centre and the Park. This is where the citizens of Nocte prefer to hang out and relax. The circular walkway mainly houses outdoor cafes, gyms, and restaurants. At the start of the working day, most citizens can be found jogging through the park and around The walk, socializing with each other and their pets.
The District ✧ The area of the city where large conglomerates and corporations make their homes and the average Noctian works a nine to five job and wears a corporate suit and answers to a CEO. This area is quickly identified by the towering high-rise buildings, glass walled offices and the bustling movement of busy citizens working for their living. ✧ The Edifice
-- The seat of Nocte's Government. A tall and intimidating building ,where the movers and shakers who make up The Council, meet and discuss the fate of the Eternal City.
✧ Productio Vici
-- Right beside the towering buildings of The District lies the squat and noisy Productio Vici area, where most of the major businesses in Nocte build their factories and store their products in vast warehouse complexes.
The HIGH Street ✧ ----- ✧ High Town
-- large residential areas for the city's best and worst criminals. Carefully constructed mansions of high defense for the city's Mafiosos, Yakuzas and basically every organized criminal organization you can think of. It usually means you have made it somewhere big in the Crime City if you can keep a pad here, and stay alive.
✧ Aquarius Mall
✧ Obsidian Mall
Adorant Platea ✧ Or street of worship. This is where all the religions in Nocte congregate and build their altars and churches. This is also where the various Gods and Goddesses fight against each other to build their congregations and steal followers from each other. After all, the more believers in a God or Goddess, the more powerful the God or Goddess will be. ✧ Tempore Turrim
-- this is where Father Time is known to reside, he is the only one that is allowed to control the time portal. A portal which is able to reach into the very origins and end of Nocte. No doubt Father Time knows all the secrets in the creation and ending of the city, however no one has ever convinced him of telling them the secrets.
✧ The Pantheon
-- this is a large roundabout street where various churches and practices make their homes, often in large ostentatious buildings and altars. The Pantheon is often the site where the various religions try to convince passersby on advantages of joining their churches and miracles are used as bait for the innocent masses.
Enchanter's Way ✧ Meandering in between the larger districts of Adorant Platea and Educationem Vici, this district tends to be where most Magi and Talents congregate. The streets are tightly packed with small shops catering to the Talented, selling all sorts of magical items like charms, talismans, curses and potions ingredients. This is also where you can hire a Talent for a job needing magic, or apprenticing yourself to a Wizard, Sorcerer or Magi right after graduating from school. Just adjacent to Adorant Platea, this district also houses the headquarters of the mercenary angels, The Knight Order of Vienosti.
✧ The Headquarters of the Knight Order of Vienosti-- A Knight Order mainly composed of Angels lead by the Angel who calls himself Raguel and professes to be the ultimate dispenser of Justice.
✧ Healer's Ward-- a long street within Enchanter's Way where Hospitals, Healing Centers , Private Clinics, Hospices and anything to do with the healing of both body, mind, spirit and magic can be found. Most often the long street has a distinct smell of sickness, herbs and antiseptics wafting through open windows and doorways. The moans and shrieks of the dying and in pain often accompany the listless miasma of suffering. Many small alleyways often link this street to the Adorant Platea, where pleas for healing are offered to the Gods/Goddesses there.
Educationem Vici ✧ The main area in the City of Nocte that houses the education district. Schools, colleges, skills training as well as museums, art galleries are usually found in this district.
✧ Universidad de Nocte-- The most prestigious, and largest school in the City of Nocte. It has a large sprawling campus that sprawls towards the edge of the city, with an extension of a small isle, where the main university campus is built. This is the only school within the Educationem Vici which has a train stop that enables travelers access to both the City of Nocte as well as the adjacent agricultural island of Arvum.
The Residential Areas ✧ --------- ✧ The Boulevard✧ Residential Areas - Low TownThose of middle income class and lower
The Slums ✧ Found sandwiched between High Street and Merchant's Row this mainly contains a lot of small decrepit houses, shanties and vermin infested streets. This is where former powers and shakers are brought low, the law is merely a suggestions, and most of the residents are so desperate and starved passersby are warned not only to keep watch of their wealth, but their bodies as well. Things in the small dark alleyways might not only mug you, but actually eat you. On that note, a sizable portion of the Shifters in Nocte, with their low social rank, tend to end up living in the Slums.

___Isle·of·Arvum__________________Town of Horreum ✧ A small community built around the main train depot on the agricultural land of Arvum. Every harvest season, the folks congregate to the town of Horreum to celebrate the bounty of their lands and to pack most of their produce into trains heading to the City of Nocte to feed it's teeming masses.

___The·Badlands__________________Quote: ✧ A place of desolation, darkness where almost nothing grows and living day to day is a struggle. This vast rolling dust bowl are where the captured criminal elements are banished, and where those who just don't fit within Nocte's society eventually find themselves. ___Underwater·City·of·Vitreous__________________ ✧ --found in between the City of Nocte and the way to the Wildlands. It is the only seawater found in the world of Nocte and harbors most of the saltwater dependent denizens. It is much like the legendary city of Atlantis and is presided over by a Seaserpent who protects all under her realm.

___Mis·cel·la·ny __________________The Mysts ✧ A roiling mass of darkness and ether that surrounds the City of Nocte and the land masses of De Civitate Nocte. No one really knows what lies beyond the Mysts, but people who've ventured forth in the past were never heard or seen from again. Quote: Mini Mental Notes for Consideration about the Mysts:And oh, here's an idea! What if the Mysts were created by the desires, the wishes and the nightmares of the inhabitants of Nocte and its surrounding areas? Ox Because whenever and wherever there is conflict, there will always be wishes, or desires or nightmares. And since Nocte is a magical place, those desires and wishes and nightmares began to physically manifest as the Mysts...if you think about it even the Goddess, with her two sides, is in a sort of conflict with herself! In other words, the Mysts is created by everyone who's ever lived in Nocte and as long as there are people living there, they will always be there! The Hub ✧ A pit stop on the train journey in between Mar Osta and Memoriam Ruris.
