Mini Personality bioAkilae is a pretty dedicated young man, when given a task or problem he attacks it with enthusiasm and doesn't give up unless thoroughly defeated. If he promises to help a friend with chores you can be sure that he'll show up and won't take off halfway through even if things get hard. It took many years and hours upon hours of practice for Akilae to learn to play the harmonica and it is one of his greatest accomplishments thus far in his mind.
On the flip side Akilae's tendency to persevere can also manifest as stubbornness. When he puts his foot down he means to get his own way. No he's not eating his vegetables and yes he's fine not getting desert and sitting at the table until bed time just to 'win' the fight about it. Similarly ideas that get stuck in his mind tend to stay there. There are certain ways to do things or they are wrong, some people are just worth less than others and newborn babies look gross. There is so much about the world Akilae does not yet understand and it will likely be his first experience with things that shape his views on them for the rest of his life.
Akilae is a fairly smart person , no genius but he's got a good head on his shoulders. His mind tends to apply itself more towards creativity than general booksmarts though. Outside of the things that he's determined can only be done one way he's willing to experiment. Maybe a snare would work better if he did this or a kite would fly better if the wings were shaped a little different. Akilae likes to mess with things and find out what can be changed and improved. He also likes to adjust proven strategies to work around his new visions and generally fuss with things. Of course once Akilae has success with something his way is the only way and damn tradition.
Aki is a hoarder, he collects all sorts of objects assigns them a sentimental value and will throw some pretty massive fits for a person his age if someone tries to make him throw things out. His collections are generally kept neat and organized but eventually he has more things than he has space for and it becomes a serious problem.
People too get collected, friends and allies are treasured and fiercely protected. The closest Akilae comes to changing his mind on something is when it might cost him his relationship with someone. Generally he tries to persuade the person in question he's right though.
Akilae works well with others. He knows how to take orders and he doesn't always have to be the boss. He might have opinions on how the secret tree house should be built but he doesn't care to boss everyone around and happily pulls his own weight.
Vanity and Akilae are bffs, he knows that he can really only matter so much according to his father and so he tries to reach the limit of his value. He will look presentable, his plans will work etc etc
Background Akilae lives in souldul in the compound of the order of the Onyx. He was born and raised there and has long since accepted their doctrine as his own. Akilae is actively working to end the war in the oblivionites favour Although he has no true hatred of the other races, he does see them as inferior.
Plots
Friends/ alliesAki loves people and he loves 'saving' people by putting them on a path that will see them safely through the end of the great engagement and what comes after. I'd like him to get some more general friends and maybe a person or two he can convince to follow the ways of the order or that he can at least feel like he's personally helping save.
Love interest So this plot is a little more complicated. Akilae doesn't believe in loving just one person. Now he's not about to run out and sleep with every attractive person he sees but he's also not capable of monogamy. If he cares for someone, is attracted to them and they reciprocate he's going to try and have a relationship with them. He cares deeply for all of those he courts but he could never commit himself to just one person.
rivals/ hatred Akilae is one of the few war focused characters in Magesc and he's not afraid to defend his point of view even if it means taking lives. I'm open to Aki injuring, making sick or killing people your character cares about if you want to start some sort of hate based relationship with him.
* Please note that aki needs a very good reason to harm/kill another oblivionite, ysali dovaa or hybrid that chose ysali.
Friendly rivalries over say archery or music skills are also open.
Music Akilae would love to learn to play some new instruments and even jiust expand the music he can play on his harmonica. Music teachers and characters who just want to have some jam sessions are loved !
