She was an only child, and she lived with her parents and their cat in Kawaguchi, Saitama Prefecture in Japan. Her father was a salaryman who commuted into Tokyo every morning and didn't return until last train, and her mother was a housewife who later worked part-time at a convenience store to help pay for Ayaka's tuition. Life was quiet and simple. She had a small group of friends whom she had known since preschool. Summers were spent along the river, where she'd play with her friends until she turned brown from the sun shining overhead. She was a member of the table tennis club in middle school, and went to cram school in the evenings. Her parents paid for her to go to English conversation school, where she learned how to mumble her way through conversations with sweaty, big-nosed Americans, and she joined the English track of her high school to improve her language skills. On weekends, she'd go to Tokyo to go shopping in Shibuya, or do karaoke in Ikebukuro. Sometimes she'd take the train all the way to Tokyo Disneyland to stand in line all day. Her life was ordinary, and she was content not standing out in the slightest.
Ayaka had little interest in academics, to be honest. Her worst subjects were textbook-heavy, like Classics and Social Studies, and her kanji was hopeless so she always did poorly in Japanese. But she did okay in science, and so instead of applying to a four year university like many of her classmates, she went to a local dentistry school. It was not very rigorous, but she enjoyed it, and looked forward to spending the rest of her quiet, ordinary life, working as a dentist in a small neighborhood clinic, until she got married and started a family. Of course, things rarely work out the way we imagine them. Ayaka's boyfriend got a job in Fukuoka, and unwilling to give long-distance a shot, broke up with her. And dentist jobs were difficult to find, especially for a young woman. She was offered jobs, yes, but as dental assistant or receptionist, not as a dentist. She was discouraged, and eventually took a hygienist job, while she lived at home with her parents and helped out around the house.
She was nearing twenty-five when she met a man named Dodge online. She had been feeling a little lonely, and had heard enough talk about Christmas cakes from her grandmother to make her feel a little bit panicked. She hadn't spoken to a foreigner since her days as a student, and at first she was reluctant, but soon her shyness went away and she discovered how truly wonderful he was. He was so different from Japanese men, romantic and passionate! ...At least, she thought he was romantic and passionate. It was hard to tell over the internet. But it was love! Ayaka didn't dare tell her parents, mainly because they never asked, until one day, her love told her that he was coming to Japan and they could get married. She quit her job and told her parents of her engagement -- they were, to put it lightly, startled by their daughter's announcement, and her father even remarked "We paid for English lessons so you could get a job, not marry a foreigner". But she didn't care. She was happy... until she met the other women. Ayaka was not the only woman in Dodge's life, but she told herself that it was a foreigner thing, that it was normal and she could be happy, and you know, she loved him, and that was all she needed. So she said goodbye to her parents, backed all of her belongings into a couple of suitcases, and joined her beloved -- and his other fiancees -- in his van. And it's been happily ever after ever since!

At least, when she was little, it was a bit embarrassing and she did have some trouble growing up when it came to playing with other kids. Though, her tendency to harm them probably had a lot less to do with her height, as her parents would often attribute it to, and more to do with her personality. Baba was a big tomboy and often pushed thing a bit too far in her rough-housing, though it wasn't her fault that everyone was such a girl about things. Since she was a bit too big for her older sister's hand-me-downs and seemed to fit pretty snug with her older brother's, Baba had been raised primarily in boy's clothing and was often mistaken as one by the other children, so perhaps it was there that she picked up the more masculine mannerisms in her childhood. Or it could have just been that Baba was too goddamned cool to be bothered with dollhouses when there were perfectly good rocks to chuck at cars and at heads.
In any case, that all changed once puberty hit and she felt the need to be liked by the other boys in her class. She spent the former part of her teen years working part-time to buy herself all the things that femininity required, though, to be frank, she mostly spent it on old knives and things like that for her personal collection of medieval weaponry. Any fantasies of dolling herself up and parading around the boys for attention had left her quickly, anyway, as she realized she didn't care very much about it at all. She liked boys, sure, and having their attention would have been nice, but she liked girls just as much! So, she dropped the idea and continued to work to support her own hobbies, staying above any teenage drama. Instead, she turned to the internet where she could discuss her love for pointy things freely without being dragged up into romantic soap opera shenanigans by her friends.
Unfortunately, that was what she found anyway, though it wasn't for many years well after she had graduated school and was working through life on odd, random jobs. In her early twenties, Baba began talking to a guy who she had little in common with, but he was still, well, nice. Not to mention attractive and Baba had hit a dry season around the time she first saw his pictures. So, yeah, she would admit it – she talked to him mainly because he was hot. But he wasn't a bad guy either! In fact, after awhile of talking to him, she grew to like his personality just as much, though he lived way too far for her to get anything done however much she crushed on him. So, she continued to live her life day by day, dating some, making platonic bros, and keeping in touch with family – up until he showed up at her doorstep.
The bros didn't matter, she hated most of her family, and, what, like that girlfriend of hers was ever going to put out! So, she jumped on board the Dodge Express and headed away with him. Sure, he had a few other girls, but, hey, who wouldn't want to have a babe on either arm? Baba sure didn't mind.

Not to mention, she had always been a sick child with her weak... constitution, and as such, she had always been confined under the constant supervision of either the hospital or her mother. However, this was normal for her. It was simply part of her daily life to be rushed to the hospital for unknown or exaggerated reasons, undergo all sorts of medical tests to figure out her diagnosis, and most of all, it was just natural to lie about everything. Her mother had encouraged it, so it must have been fine. Then again, it never seemed like she was pleased with it, as she was always yelling at doctors about how useless they were for never figuring anything out. Still, if her mother told her to eat disgusting food that never failed to make her upchuck everything or to even fall down the stairs, then C.C. would do it.
The reason was simple. People paid attention to her if she did it, and if she wasn’t the center of attention, then no one was going to love her. She had discovered that lesson the hard way when her mother gave birth to another child. Maybe that was why her mother made her so sick. Maybe, it was so that she could get with one of the doctors. Now, it was poor C.C. being shoved off to the side as the new addition in the family was the one being sent to the hospital. It had definitely been a strange feeling without her mother’s orders guiding her around, and it had been an even lonelier feeling to have the spotlight taken away from her. Fortunately, the discovery of the internet made her online friends that always kept her company, and if they didn’t, she would have woven together a lie to gain their affections.
Before she knew it, C.C. found her ties to her friends to be a whole lot closer than she expected. In fact, she was actually going to get married... to three of them!

Named after the best make of trucks in the world, or at least the make of truck that he was conceived in. Dodge was raised as a simple country boy, born to a rancher and an elementary school teacher. He was the oldest boy, second oldest out of five. Because Dodge was the oldest boy, his father would always have him help out on the ranch, something he always dreaded. All he ever wanted to do was run free and leave his siblings to do the bulk of the work. However, he had little choice in the matter. This fact made him resent the homestead even more, and left him with bigger dreams of getting as far away as possible. His mother assisted with all of their schoolwork, hoping to offer them a future that they could do something with. Dodge never tried too hard at much of anything, spending the majority of his study time doodling on his notes. He was labeled a dreamer and a nobody by everyone around him, even winning least likely to succeed of his senior class. So, it was really to no one's surprise when he was turned down by all of the local colleges. It really didn't phase him much, he had never pictured college much in the big scheme of his life, anyway.
His father continued to hint more and more of leaving the ranch to him, but Dodge insisted his brother was a much better candidate. With his dreams never wavering, he would take a portion of the money his mother slid his way and travel to the local gas station. He knew that the only way he would ever be able to leave the small town and everything that came with it, was to try to win the lottery. In the meantime, he would wait and continue living with his parents and helping his father. Someday his ship would come in. Someday. The only thing that was able to make the years go by was his friends he met online. It was thrilling to meet so many different people that were interested in talking to him, and that didn't know much about his past. These people were interested in getting to know the real him, not some label or comparison to his siblings. It quickly became an addiction and Dodge continued to talk to more and more lovely women as the years rolled on. They often spoke of the kind of life they could have if only he could get away from his problems and come whisk them from their own.
It came as a shock to his entire family when his big dreams had finally come true. He had won the local lottery and, after taxes, was the proud owner of 3.4 million dollars. He quickly went and found the most luxurious RV that he could, but only after telling each lovely woman about his new fortune. He dropped a very pretty dime on his new home on wheels and bid farewell to the family that never thought he'd make it. He then started traveling the world, making stops at the homes of each of the women that he had grown so close to. Of course, there was one major problem that Dodge had not considered. He never told any of the women about one another. Quickly, the number of women that truly loved him had fallen to only three, but that was enough for him. He showered them in gifts, and once the moment felt right, he bought them each a ring just as unique as they were. Now with the wedding ahead and literally no funds left to his name, he had to leave the restraints of the government and find a place where he could truly be happy as husband and wife, and wife, and wife.
