Having doubt in large groups of a population is kind of counter intuitive to being a humanitarian. If your goal is to achieve world peace, you have to learn about other people, learn how to convince them that Humanitarianism, peace, or whatever it is you are going for is important. Feeling like you won't find anyone like minded isn't going to achieve peace any faster then talking to people who may need a little more convincing.

The reason political power creates this huge divide in society, is because like minded people group together. You realize your group of humanitarians versus the rest of the world will just be another authoritarian power, that has different policies that makes it seem less violent, but it's still changing a culture a history, a way of life for many individuals, and without learning how to talk to people that may not share that world view, you're just going to be another power that thinks your way of life is better then another person's so they must adopt your thinking.

Sorry, but your comment doesn't feel encouraging offhand.

You've just read some post, that other people have made, then decided that there is no one here with similar interest to yourself. Decided to vocalize such, it doesn't give people that chance to express how they feel on the topic, because you've already told everyone here, that they don't care enough about what you care about.

People don't always agree with humanitarianism, because it comes down to this idea, that one group of peoples way of regulation is less violent so it is more correct. This is why world peace can never exist.

I just think you could have voiced the topic in a way where you explain what humanitarianism is to you, maybe why you're interested in the topic, and be more open. No one is going to respond when you've essentially already said no one here belongs, or would have anything to contribute. In fact you haven't even posted anything in your topic that people can respond to.
