"How long are you going to keep toying with me?" She asked turning on her wedged heels to face the man lurking in the shadows. When he opted not to reveal himself she folded her arms over her chest, annoyance written all over her face. "I know you're there, you've been following me for the better part of an hour now," she told him. "Stop being a coward and step out of the shadows!" She demanded, arms dropping to her side and fingers curling into her palms.
She was tired of playing cat and mouse with the captain. Tired of being chased and toyed with. She was sick of having him stick is hand in her chest and nearly rip the starseed from her. This time, this time it was just the two of them with no general in sight. "Stop being a coward!"
She was tired of being a coward herself, she would run to longer. It was time to face her hunter and stop him.
His dark chuckle sent shivers down her spine and it took all of her willpower to not go bolting off.
"What makes you think that I'm afraid?"
"Because you do nothing but chase," she retorted, though she knew her words were a lie. Twice he had her in his grasp, fingers wrapped around her starseed but he had also done nothing but chase her as of late. Trying to paralyze her with fear so she would never henshin again.
She would never let that happen.
He emerged from the shadows, hood pulled tightly against his pink hair, scythe in hand. "How cute," he sneered advancing on her. "But you're wrong. I'm a predator who enjoys playing with their prey before ending things." Partial truths, it depended on the target. "Death is at your door senshi."
And he pounced.

The ginger had tried to convince herself that she was ready for the onslaught the captain would undoubtedly bring, but she was wrong. So very wrong. The backside of his scythe caught her across the face despite her feeble attempt to block. Her face whipped to the side from the impact of the blow and she slid back a few inches. Wiping the blood from her now busted lip she charged forward, ducking as he swung out blade first . She put no distance between them and slammed her shoulder into his chest.
Labyrinthite grunted as he skidded backward. Suddenly his weapon was banished and both of hands caught hers. Panic was prevalent in her eyes as she brought up a knee to put distance back between them. She hit him solidly in the gut but his grip remained. He yanked her toward him hand swooping to catch her neck and force her to the ground.
Denebola landed with a hard thud, chin banging against the pavement. Disoriented she did not move, but that did not stop him. His heel came down hard on her back squandering any hope she had of getting back on her feet. He dug it deep into her back, determined to make her scream.
Denebola did not scream but she could not help the squeal of pain that escaped her as he dug in deeper. The actions tore the back of her fuku, exposing the slightly tanned skin of her back. When he finally moved his foot, the skin was flushed a deep red. She tried to rise, arms shaking under the weight of her body and the beating it had received. She did not get far before he grabbed the dark green of her collar jerking her up.
She swung widely when yanked to her knees barely scuffing his chin. He snorted in response, gold eyes narrowed in dark amusement. He threw her back, swiftly following up with a hard palm to her abdomen. She flew back, colliding into a nearby lamppost with a heavy thud. Her head slumped, chest barely rising and blood trickling down her chin from the corner of her mouth.
Her battle was lost.
"Time to end this game," he informed her closing the gap between them. He crouched before her, hand shooting out to grasp her chin. He yanked her face up so she would before forced to face him. "Look at me," he snarled, though she remained unresponsive. "Look at me!" He shouted, shaking her face. Her mismatched eyes fluttered open and she groaned.
"I want to watch the life leave your eyes," he said. He stroked her face, sinister grin plastered on his face. He reached with his left hand, sliding it across her chest until his hand was over her heart. "I am your grim reaper," he whispered before he plunged his hand into her chest.
She gasped jolting forward when she felt his cold finger trace the outline of her starseed. Her hands shot out to wrap around the arm buried in her subspace of where her starseed rested. "N-no!" She shrieked as his hand closed around it. She felt him push a pulse of chaotic energy into her seed. She felt as though her chest was going to burst apart. "Stop!' she screamed as he closed his hand more tightly.
God how it burned and ached. She could feel the cracks forming from the pressure of his actions. "Stop," she begged, tears beginning to pool in the corners of her blue and green eyes. "Please," she sobbed.
He would give her no mercy as he began to pull his hand back, tugging against her feeble resistance.
Captain Labyrinthite was ruthless and would not relent.
