This was a fine morning; the sun was shining brightly, the sky was a pure crystalline blue, and there was the acrid smell of ink in the air. Yes, this was indeed a good day. Takima Mori, the daughter of Sai (Mori) and Sakura Haruno, could be found in her usual spot for early mornings: the roof of the family’s house. Due to this morning being exceptionally bright and sunny, there were an abundance of birds about that had taken up a roost upon the roof around her. Utilizing her extreme stealth, Taki exhumed her sketch pad from its hiding spot, along with a drawing pen so that she may capture the beauty of these birds forever. For some reason, the young Jounin had always had a fascination with any type of flying creature. If she came across one that she hadn’t seen before, you better believe she would stop and make it a part of her collection of drawings. Her sketch pad had many other paintings in it as well, most of which were animals in their natural state. Some of the more rare paintings were of her family, or friends.

“Takima!” A familiar voice drifted up from the ground level to where the Jounin was sitting upon the roof; well it didn’t so much drift, it was kind of like throwing a rock at a picture window and the glass shattering. This was the voice of none other than Sakura Haruno, the legendary medical ninja that was the apprentice of the Fifth Hokage, Tsunade. Unfortunately, the sound of the other pink haired Nin shouting up to her only daughter scared all of Takima’s precious birds away. Watching the little fluttering creatures as they fled, she sighed before snapping her sketch pad closed and standing up. Walking to the edge of the roof, the daughter looked down at the aged mother, and merely raised an eyebrow at her. Sakura had her hands on her hips and was looking up at her daughter sternly.

“Are you at least going to eat something before meeting up with your team for the first time?” Sakura asked in her usual tone, while raising her hand to shield her eyes from the sun as she looked up at her daughter. Takima tried not to grimace in remembrance of the last time her mother has cooked her something. It wasn’t the fact that it tasted horrible, it was the fact that it was so burnt and indistinguishable that she had no idea what she had really been eating. Mystery meat was not a pleasant thing to eat for every meal. “No, I’ve actually informed my team to meet up at the Ramen shop. So I’ll just eat there.” Hoping that this information wouldn’t be too hurtful towards her mother’s feelings; but there was no way in hell she was going to eat her food. Raising her hand in a sort of wave, Takima took off so as not to hear the wrath of her mother, and headed towards the Ramen shop.

Earlier that day, Takima had sent three of her ‘paintings’ to deliver the messages to her three genin, to give the time, and place of where they would be meeting. They would deliver themselves in a very specific way; they were write themselves all over her student’s walls, repeating the message over and over like someone had broken into their room and drew all over the walls. A small smirk played across her face at the thought of their reactions. It hadn’t taken long for the pink-haired Jounin to reach the fabled Ramen shop that the great Naruto Uzumaki had once idolized. Walking up to her usual seat, Takima sat and waited for her three students to make their way there. For their sakes, she better not be waiting long.

Hiruma Yume

Hiruma awoke from a deep 16 hour slumber to find writing all over his walls. "What is this...?" he groaned. He didn't like out when people went into his room unannounced, so needles to say he was irritated. Throwing the covers off of him, he began to read the message. "Talk about getting the message across", he signed looking at the graffitied across his room. Hiruma walked over to his drawer, thinking about his team and instructor. 'I wonder who's on my team and what sensei is going to be like..."

He changed into his usual attire, white jacket and sash with blue shirt and pants bearing the Yume clan symbol. His mother and father were in the kitchen, very much awake. They were going on and on about Hirume being a ninja now. His mother was saying how she didn't want him to end up like his brother, Kashin. His father was just about to reply when he noticed Hiruma. ".... We just worry about you, son." Hiruma didn't know what to say, so he just ate his breakfast, a very large plate of eggs, and left without a word.

Shortly after Takima took her seat, Hiruma arrived at the ramen shop. He looked around, noticing only one other person there. She had pink hair and wore a ninja headband. "...." He walked up to her slowly, trying to be certain out was her. He ran a hand through his thick black hair and yawned, "Takima-sensei?"

Ochiba Hyuga

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________

In the center of the back yard a wooden post had been set up, it already had many holes in it from the kunai and shurriken that had been thrown into it. A girl with short red hair that was held back with the leaf village forehead protector stood staring at the piece of wood. Her eyes showed veins protruding from the side of face indicating that her byakugan was active. With a fling of her wrist the shurriken that had been in her hand flew towards the wood all of them hitting it and sticking deep within the wood. Ochiba let out a small sigh as her byakugan deactivated, she knew she had to head out to meet her new squad for the first time.

Ochiba had come out to relieve some stress from having woken up to her room being covered in writing telling her over and over again where they were to meet today. Since it was to be at the ramen shop she thought it was best she didn't eat at home and now that she had blown off some steam she thought it might as well be now that she went to get it over with. The walk through the village was pretty quite, that was because she knew the roads that were less traveled by the townsfolk. Eventually there was nothing she could do to avoid people tho as the ramen shop was in quite a busy part of town.

Soon she was walking into the shop she noticed only two people there, one of the people was Hiruma Yume one of the others that had graduated from her class as well. The other was an older lady looking to be in her mid twenties so Ochiba could only assume that this was to be their Sensei. Without waiting to make sure Ochiba just sat down on the left side of the woman and waited for instructions on what to do, while waiting for that she looked over the menu deciding what to get as she was becoming quite hungry. Her eyes finally landed on shrimp ramen, she loved shrimp and decided that is what she wanted when the time came to order.

A young blond boy walked into his room to see an awful sight on his walls. He thought he was asleep, but he knew wasn't since he had already awoken a few hours prior and was prepared fully for the day. He even had his forehead protector tied around his neck. But now as he looked around his room he could see that words were being written out. Yori didn't even bother reading it and simply cried out from his bedroom door, "MOM! MOM!" After yelling that, he heard his mother come scrambling up the stairs of the house to tend to her darling son.

"What's happened?" she said with concern.

When Yori spun around to see his mum, he took her by the shoulders and shook her, "We have to move! The house is haunted! "

His mother blinked, quickly knowing Yori was probably overreacting. Sighing with a motherly smile, she stepped inside the room and pointed at the words, "Yori, what have I told you in the past?"

"Stop chasing the cats with fire...?"

Without another word, Yori's mother nudged him back into the room and pointed at a line of text. Yori was about to protest, but he listened to his mother and read what was sprawled out on his wall finally. His face dropping, he let out a nervous laugh. "Oh." As the blond stepped towards the wall and inspected it, he ran a finger over the words and left a black streak, "Ink...?"

At the Ramen shop, yelling could be heard coming from the back.

"C'mon! I know you keep the good stuff back here!"

"For the last time Yori-kun, you're not allowed back here!" scolded the chef. Dragging him by the collar, Yori stumbled a bit as he was lead back to the front of the ramen stand. Yori puffed up his cheeks as he crossed his arms. 'One day I'll find out what makes this ramen so special...' he thought. One of the heroes from the last Great War was rumored to have practically lived at the ramen stand, and even if Yori agreed that it was delicious, surely there was some secret ingredient that made it so... Wonderful.

When the chef left Yori at the proper side of the ramen stand where non-staff people should stay, Yori began to devise a plan in his head to sneak back there after dark. However, he soon snapped back to reality when he noticed two of his old classmates and some pink haired beauty also at the stand.

Waving at them, "Oh hey Ochiba-san, Hiruma-san~" he cooed with a grin.

While the young ink master had been waiting for her three students to arrive, she had taken the liberty to order herself some jasmine tea, and a bowl of chicken ramen. Her tea had arrived at almost the same time as her first student, Hiruma Yume. Letting her emerald orbs rest upon him for a moment when he asked if she was his sensei, she nodded lightly and motioned towards a seat near herself. “Indeed, but please take a seat and let us wait for our teammates.” Her voice was quiet, and almost blank; as if she were hiding all her emotions behind a mask. Picking up her tea, Takima sipped it lightly as she observed the female of her team appear and seem to make herself at home without having to be told to do so. Ochiba Hyuuga, as she read in her files, was quite the quiet girl, so it went with no surprise when she hadn’t asked if Takima was indeed her sensei. That was pretty much given.

Waiting for the third member did not take very long at all, for it seemed as if he had been there the whole time, though not exactly where she had specified. Yori Wakahisa, the third and final member of her team, could be seen being thrown from the back of the ramen shop by the angry chef. What a nice first impression she had of him; she could tell that he would be a handful. Lovely. After the three had appeared, Takima set her tea down, reached into one of her pouches, and took out a small scroll. Upon opening it, the sound of scurrying feet could be heard from the three directions of her students’ homes; three black mice came running from the three directions. They crawled up the counter, and over to Takima’s scroll, where they seemed to melt onto the page; they became inanimate paintings once more. Rolling the scroll up, and stowing it away, Takima looked over her three students for a moment before speaking. “Welcome to Team Three; Hiruma, Ochiba, and Yori. I’m Takima Mori, and I will be your sensei until the time when you become Chunin.” She spoke just as calmly as she had before, if but with a bit more emotion behind her words. She wasn’t a complete robot.

“Now, I wish to start out on a good note, so if you are hungry please eat. I’ll put it on my tab.” Yes, this was probably a dangerous generosity, for she knew not how much her students would eat, but it was a sacrifice she was willing to make. Takima sipped some more on her tea as she waited for her students to decide if they were going to partake in her offer or not. When they were finished, she spoke up once more. “Now, let’s get to know each other a bit better. Tell us your likes, dislikes, ambitions, hobbies, or anything else you would like to share.” As she spoke, she looked around at the tree genin, waiting to see who would be brave enough to go first. Seeing as no one spoke up, she decided to go first. “Let’s see. I enjoy training, sketching, and painting. My dislikes are few and far between, though they need not be listed. My ambitions, for the time being, are for three to make it to the Chunin exams. My hobbies are many, so need not be listed as well. “ After she spoke, without revealing too much about herself, she looked at her students once again to see who would step up. “Hiruma, you next.” Since no one was speaking up, she would for them. And she chose him because he was the first to arrive on the scene. That was keeping things fair in her book, though in the ninja world, there wasn’t much in the world for fairness.

Hiruma Yume
Hiruma nodded to his instructor and did as he was told. Walking to the right of Takima, he yawned and cracked his neck. "Mmph." He looked over the back of her. He wasn't sure what he was expecting to see, but he quickly stopped looking for it and took the seat to her right. He lifed his forehead protector off of his head so he could rub his face and scratch his scalp before putting it back on and odering himself Jasmine tea as well. "Good choice, Takima-sensei."

"Here ya' go!!" Said the lady at the ounter that gave him the tea. "Nice and hot for you, enjoy!" Hiruma thanked the woman, paid her and began blowing on the tea. He took a sip, and then went to look at his instructor again, but noticed that there was now another person with them. It was Ochiba Hyuuga, a girl he graduated with. She was the only person that Hiruma thought was more quiet than himself. "Hello, Ochiba. Nice to see you." He gulped down the rest of his tea and put his head down, thinking he'd have enough time to take a nap. He was poorly mistaken, for from the back shouting and calling cooking instruments could he heard crashing to the floor. Hiruma recognized the name the chelf shouted. "Yori? Yori Wakahisa, on our team? This could be quite interesting", he said smiling. Yori always made Hiruma laugh with his antics.

Once the team was assembled, Takima-sensei began to speak, welcoming them her team and began to explain a little about herself. She then picked Hiruma to do the same, which he didn't exactly feel like doing. He stood up and looked at his team and nodded. "Right. Well, my name is Hiruma Yume, of the Yume Clan. I like reading, sleeping, studying my clans jutsu,... Um... Sheep. I like sheep a lot." He scratched his head. 'Their gonna think I'm weird...' , he thought. "I dislike physical work, like cleaning or heavy lifting and such. I also don't like cats. I got scratched on the face by a cat once and I thought I was going to go blind. Cats are vicious, evil things so i don't like them. Uhhh, ambitions? The only ambition I really have is to master my kekkei genkai the way our founder had. He was amazing, and I want to be like him in that aspect. My hobbies are chess, cooking, herding the sheep around my families farm, though I guess thats more of a job then a hobby..."

He scratched his head nervously, thinking he probably made a fool of himself. His parinoia got the better of him. His hands began to shake a bit and his eyes widened. "T-thanksforlistening" he said so quickly it sounded like one word. He sat down and began to twiddle his thumbs. 'Oh yeah... They think I'm weird...' He odered himself a bowl of beef ramen and began to eat very fast.

Ochiba Hyuga

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________

Ochiba quietly ordered the shrimp ramen while the group awaited the last member of their team. When Hiruma addressed her she gave a small nod to him, she would try and not speak to the others if she could help it. She never really liked people, instead she focused on her training trying to become better then her younger brother. He was five years younger then she was yet he was still thought to be the most talented Hyuga since Neji who died fifty years ago.

While the three waited for the final member of their team Ochiba couldn't help but wonder who else they were going to stick on her team, Hiruma was not to bad but he always seemed to be tired or at least out of it. Suddenly some loud noises were heard from the back of the ramen shop and before they knew it the cook was dragging another graduate from the academy to the front where the others were. This was Yori Wakahisa, he was kind of a trouble maker back in the academy and Ochiba wasn't sure if he would be more of a burden then actual help.

When he called a hey to her she simply turned her face away from him looking to their sensei in time to see her pulling out a scroll. Shortly after what looked like ink drawn mice came running into the place and up and then into the scroll. It seemed that Takima had an interesting jutsu, but the real question was what were they for? Ochiba figured that it wasn't any of her business tho so she kept her mouth shut as she watched the scroll being wrapped up and replaced from where she had gotten it. Ochiba didn't know about this whole team thing, she really hoped that the others wouldn't end up slowing her down.

It seemed like Takima was trying to earn their trust by paying for the food but Ochiba wasn't one to complain, especially when it involved a free meal. It was at this time that her food was placed in front of her, the lady serving seemed to have heard Takima as Ochiba was not given a bill with the food. Finally Ochiba spoke up for the first time to the older woman, "Thank you for the food, Takima-sensei..." With that she began to eat before Takima began to make her introduction, seeing as none of the others seemed willing to speak up first. Takima liked training so maybe something good would come of that later on as that was something Ochiba enjoyed doing as well.

Next was Hiruma Yume's turn as Takima had chosen him to go next. The longer he went on the more it seemed that he was just lazy, something Ochiba couldn't really tolerate. If they were going to be ninja they couldn't be lazy, otherwise they would all end up dead. Ochiba gave out a small sigh as she finished her shrimp ramen, at least Hiruma wanted to master his kekkei genkai perhaps that would motivate him enough not to hold her back. Finally the male genin ended by thanking them for listening, tho it was quite jumbled up and sounding like one word as he had said it so quickly.

It was shortly after this was said that Ochiba could feel the eyes of Takima upon her, apparently she was wanting her to be next. Letting out a small sigh Ochiba crossed her arms in front of herself. "I am Ochiba Hyuga, I like weapons... I dislike...well most things... My ambition is to become stronger, and one day prove to my parents that I am not worthless... My only hobby is training." With that Ochiba finished speaking not wanting to share her true ambitions and dislikes, she didn't think the others would think well of her if she had said her ambition was to one day defeat her brother.

Walking closer to the group, he had a smile on his face. Yori was excited for what his new sensei had in store for them. As she introduced herself, he wondered if she had mentored any other teams in the past. She seemed like a nice lady, so he couldn't wait to speak with her more! 'I wonder if she has any interesting battle stories.' he thought. Plopping himself down on the seat next to Ochiba, he rested his elbows on the counter and leaned forward to listen to Takimi talk about herself. She said that food would go on her tab so Yori happily ordered a bowl for himself.

Listening to the others, he realized that their introductions were kinda short. He wanted to know more about his team, and both of the females on
their team seemed to leave out a lot of things. The only one that talked about himself was Hiruma, and it was a slight shock to Yori because he
realized that this was probably the most things he's ever heard the boy say. Yori was also curious about his family's farm since the boy hasn't
ever been to one and wondered if he'd ever invite him over. He's heard sheep were really soft and he thought that making friends with one would be cool.

Finishing up his bowl, Yori also realized it was his turn when Ochiba said no more about herself. His head was racing with thoughts while he tried to form a sentence his head. The blond liked a lot of things and he also disliked a lot of things, 'What should I say?!'

"Well, I really like the ocean. Oh and birds! Sometimes I sit on my roof and I watch them with binoculars, but this one time a lady thought I was staring at her and yelled at my pa. Can you believe it? She thought I was peeping on her! Like, she was old and stuff so that was gross." he rambled on, but stopped to shuddered because he was remembering the incident, "so I stopped watching the birds from my roof and I usually walk around the forests to see them now." he said in an informative manner.

"Hmm... What else do I lik-- Oh! I also really like exploding things, gemstones, and adventuring. But for my dislikes? Let's see, I don't like high pitched noises, sour things, the dark... Or bees! They're just so creepy with their stingers and flower obsession." Tapping his mouth with his finger, he thought quietly for a few seconds, "Well, I don't have any cool ambitions like you guys, since I guess my ambition is just to have a lot of fun...? Or maybe that's my hobby. Can having fun be a hobby? Because I also really like running, swimming, writing cool stories and collecting random things, so those are probably my hobbies." Yori never thought about what he really wanted in life, so the question had him partly confused. In his opinions, having a set ambition just seemed limiting and too much work. He likes not knowing what he'll do next or what surprising thing can happen, just as long as he has a great time doing whatever he's doing.
