These release static discharge across the field at random; electric attacks may be able to amplify themselves by using these stray charges to their advantage. The discharges also programmed to encourage pokemon to avoid standing in one location for too long This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ELECTRIC type attacks.
Lyle trotted into the stadium, then blanched as he saw the field. This would not be convenient for the pokemon he'd chosen to use today. Oh well, it was too late to change now. He considered the field as he waited for his opponent to arrive.

Kytti entered the arena and smiled happily. "This should be fun!" she said to herself as she waved to her opponent.
Kytti looked about the field and smiled. "Let's start out with a little fun," She thought to herself and smiled at her pokemon that were behind her, "Baron, let's start this off!" Her Piplup waddled out onto the field and hopped about.

Oh, his opponent had a water pokemon, too. This might not be that bad, then. Lyle considered his options, then tossed out a pokeball. "Sentry, you start us off!"
The pokeball burst open to deposit a Bibarel on the battlefield. She took a moment to survey the field before starting to circle slowly around it, not wanting to stay in one place too long.

Kytti smiled and called to her Piplup, "Use Grass Knot! Baron grunted happily and raised his flippers. A small knot of grass started to form and launched towards the opponent.

Sentry grunted as the Grass Knot slammed into her, but she didn't react further, waiting for her trainer's orders.
Lyle figured they may as well make use of the field if they could, and it presented them with a great opportunity. "Sentry, Thunderbolt!"
The Bibarel paused long enough to allow some of the ambient electricity gather around her, then launched it at her opponent.
