 If you were to get a tattoo, what would it be? A picture, a quote from a famous book/movie/whatever? Would it be big and extravagant, or small and subtle? I've been thinking about this a lot lately for various reasons, and I think I've decided that my tattoo would be of a ninja monkey. 'Cause those are two awesome awesome things. Something like this:  Except he'd be holding a sword. And I'd probably get the tattoo on my chest so it would be hidden in public. EDIT: Oh, and if you already have a tattoo, I guess you can just share what yours is instead. blaugh

I know what my tattoo will be. It was inspired by a friend of mine who did the same thing. When my cat dies, I'm going to put her paw in ink, press it to a piece of paper, and have her cremated. Then I will get a tattoo of her paw print with a tiny bit of her ashes mixed in. I know ash tattoos are risky, but I'm willing to take that risk, and all the precautions I possibly can.
(I kind of feel bad dampening the mood in this thread when previous responses included things like cheez-its...)

Ever seen Science Ink: Tattoos of the Science Obsessed well think of that concept mixed with the style of Xoil/Gene Coffey and that would be my idea of a tattoo. Basically a suitably obscure and beautiful pice of art work <3

I'd get a vertical line over my left eye.
Of a color that mimics but is notably darker than my skin tone.

I know I've already posted mine, but I'm seriously considering another: the words "think before you speak", on the back of my wrist, in a color close to my skin tone. I could really use a permanent reminder. >_<

Something fandom related. Most likely homestuck. Or maybe writer related once I have a book out...whenever that will be. I should be working on that now.
But if I were to really think about it, I'd have the symbol of void on my left upper arm or shoulder blade with the words "I understand nothing." under it. This pretty much playing on the fact I have recently figured out that I am actually a mage of void as well as the fact that I can't understand people who are talking to me on my left side due to the fact my left ear is partially deaf.
