Rikki had pizza and an action flick. He also had Lionheart and Lancelot fighting for space in his hood, but that was normal. He didn't bother to knock as he struggled to get Danny's door open, just waltzed in and dropped both the food and the movie on the nearest surface.
"Danny?" He called, already beginning to strip layers. He never lasted long before her dorm got too hot for his usual attire. "I brought food!"

Danny resurfaced from under a thousand blankets on the ground. Why she'd been buried was a mystery. Perhaps she'd heard Rikki coming and wanted to surprise him. Perhaps she was trying to understand what a caterpillar felt like pre-butterfly. Maybe she wanted to feel what it was like to be blind.
Either way, she emerged like a ******** godzilla, rampaging across her room to pummel Rikki into the bed, a full bruteball sort of tackle that left him with no chance of recovery.
It was a good thing he'd set the pizza down early. "PIZZAAAAAA," was the only response he would get.

Rikki jumped as the blankets suddenly shifted to reveal the scariest monster that would ever exist in his world - a hungry fire demon. He didn't have time to even get his hoodie off the rest of the way before he was tackled forcefully into the bed, getting tangled in his own sleeves and his ghoulfriend. Lance and Lionheart were lucky enough to escape before they were crushed, but they quickly scurried back towards their owner so they could jump on Danny's back and complete the dog pile.
Rikki wheezed for air, gasping out words when he was able to find them. "Pizza's on the table, not over here!"

That would probably leave a bruise for Rikki tomorrow. "Pizza pizza," she chanted, detaching from him almost the second he said there was no longer any trace of pizza on his person. She then turned to the table and flipped open the box.
"Why piffa and a moofie?" she questioned, mouth already full of her first bite.
Eyes narrowed to a squint. "Is it my birthday?"

Rikki stayed starfished on the best, rubbing his his chest with a wince. That would definitely bruise. Lance curled up on his legs to stare at him, but Lionheart flapped his little wings and floated after Danny, hovering close. Rikki glared at him, but it did nothing.
"I'm pretty sure you'd know if it was your birthday, Screech. Or at the very least, I'd do something more than pizza and a movie." He shrugged and finally sat up, tangling his fingers in Lance's fur. "I just thought we'd have a date night or something, I dunno."

Danny, instead of bring the single slice of pizza, set the slice back in the box and carried the entire box back to Rikki's lap, where she sat and ate out of the box.
"Okay if you say so," she assured him, "But if it was I want a really big party. With a pony. Oh, oh bring Espoo!!"
Lionheart sat on her shoulder with an equally excited look. He probably wasn't actually all that excited, he just wanted to impress Danny. Most likely.

Rikki hummed happily as the pizza was delivered to his lap and began munching immediately. "We'd have to do the part outside then, I think. I don't think I can get Espoo into your dorm. Plus she probably wouldn't like the heat." He puffed out his cheeks and he chewed thoughtfully. Danny wanted a pony at her party? Danny would damn well get a pony at her party.
"Hey! So. I saw a flyer for prom today."

Danny was currently off in thought, dreaming of her birthday party. When it wasn't even her birthday.
"Prom?" she said airily, biting into her second slice already. She looked at the movie he'd brought. Vamps? What was that? It sounded vaguely racist. "What kinda movie is that?"

He shrugged at the movie. "I heard it's an action movie. I've never seen it before."
"But, yeah! Prom. Are we going?" He took another huge bite of pizza, chipmunk style. He was classy.
