I sat back and thought about what had happened all of last year. I completely expected, as the new kid, to lead a semi-lonely life at Hayatori, but within my first day, I got a nickname everyone called me by (Ayu - my real name's Zanihito), had a seat at a lunch group, and was joking around with the other six who welcomed me with open arms. Takiya was a loudmouth and incredibly lazy, but she was a genius and her heart was always in the right place. Kakei was hardworking and cared about everyone and had a secret super-nerdy streak. Nosomi hardly spoke but always listened, and her input always mattered. Rie was soft-spoken and kind and was shy but talked a lot, at least around us. Dokimeru (or DJ or Deej, as we called him) was always looking to improve himself and his surroundings and loved to help others. And Shuru... well...

"Ayu, you're blushing!"

My post lenghts vary. They tend to be shorter in dialogue-heavy segments and longer elsewhere.
