Alex opened his eyes to find himself standing in the middle of a quaint, quiet courtyard surrounded by cherry trees. He looked around in amazement, taking in his surroundings with awe. "wow, it's so real...so life like" he marveled, this being his first time actually entering the program. The last thing he remembered before this was laying down in that strange pod thing and closing his eyes. But he didn't even feel like he was laying down anymore, everything around him felt so real. He looked down at his hands and smiled. "wow, this is gre-" he stopped mid sentence when he looked down past his fingers, noticing his attire. From the waist up was a black hoodie jacket, nothing out of the ordinary, however from the waist down he was in "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!? A skirt? Why am I wearing a skirt!?" he stammered, glancing around to make sure no one was around to see him like this, he crossed his hands infront of himself, not that it did much good. "w-what kind of sick joke is this? and these socks are...thigh highs? WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!?" he shouted, though quickly slapped his hand over his mouth. The last thing he should be doing right now is yelling and drawing attention to himself. Quickly he ran over behind one of the cheery trees and tugged at the clothing. "no matter, I just gotta take them off. I mean sure it's embarrassing walking around in my boxers but it can't be as bad as..." his face turned white as a ghost as he started to slide the skirt off only to reveal a pair of panties underneath. A look of sheer mortification came over the boy's face, and he quickly pulled the skirt back up, deerly wishing he had never even checked. "this is it. Two minutes in and my life is over all over again. I guess you really can't escape fate"

 Levin "Levi" Jude You and I left our troubles far behind, troubles far behind. But I still have just one more question on my mind... Levi started from his solitary admiration of the realism in one of the swishing trees. Perched in a joint between the trunk and a sturdy limb, sprouting uncountable pink blossoms, eyes glazed and taking in the view of the virtual grove, he'd been peacefully taking in the creator's artistry when a high voice suddenly snapped his daze. He levered himself out of the cradle he'd made and grabbed another one to pull himself forward, where he could glance at the noise-maker. Briefly, he marvelled at how everything seemed like real life. How could technology have sneaked this far forward without him noticing? He shook his head and leaned over to glance through the pinked view.
Out in the opening, in the spawn area before the front gate, a girl was shrieking to herself. Levi cocked a brow. What the heck was she screaming for? The stranger remained absolutely still for a moment. Curiously eager, Levi kept watching, spreading a branch away to get a better view of what she'd do. Just as the tension seemed as thick as granite, she dashed his way. Instinctively avoiding detection, he brushed the branch back into place and held his breath as she backed up against the tree he was in.
What she did then...He couldn't hep himself. He held it for as long as he could, which was up until she murmured one last remark of disdain, then a chuckle escaped. Not fast enough, he covered his mouth, but let it go with a grin.
"Busted," he laughed. Levi planted his palms on the branch, bent his legs over the branch, and rocked back. His torso fell down, hanging upside down like a monkey with his black hoodie drooping wide open to reveal a bare chest. "Heh, I wonder what I should do. There's a pervert loitering about," he commented, winking at her knowingly with a mischievous grin. If you're the bird whenever we pretend it's summer, then I'm the worm, I know the part, it's such a bummer, but fair is fair...

Alex groaned and slumped back against the tree, sliding down into a seat position. "oh man there's gotta be a way out of this..." he muttered. "maybe if I can get to my dorm without anyone seeing me I can just change and pretend this never happened....but I haven't been assigned a dorm yet, and if I go to the office now...." he couldn't fathom how clustered the office would be this early in year, it'd be impossible to go there and go unseen for any length of time. "gah! This is just so frus..." he froze when he heard a chuckle and slowly looked up to see a boy sitting up in the branches of the tree he was sitting against "..trating...." somehow Alex managed to simultaneously go pale and blush intensely at the same time, a mixture of fear and embarrassment causing his hear to race so fast he thought it'd burst out of his chest. When the boy shouted "busted" Alex assumed he was talking about Alex's girl clothes and quickly started scrambling back away from the guy. "w-what!? who are you? I though no one else was here" he stammered. When he hung down and accused him of being a pervert he flushed redder than a tomato. "pervert? no! I didn't want to be dressed up like this. It just kinda happened!" he hastily tried to explain.

To go ghost-white and rosy-red all at the same time on the same face was a talent Levi had never seen before, especially not upside down. Slackly, he framed her in a square box of his fingers. The shades of her face would make an interesting drawing. Impressive as the girl's reaction was, Levi was surprised that the girl didn't smack him out of the tree like his sister would have done, immediately. Instead, the girl scrambled backwards like a cornered animal. At what she judged a safe distance, she stuttered. Levi laughed a little at her, but it wavered in pity. He'd forgotten that she wasn't her sister or mother, so he couldn't go teasing as he pleased.
Still, for her own good, he couldn't resist one last witticism to set the poor girl straight. "So, you assumed flashing your panties in public was fine as long as nobody was around. Hmm, I don't know; something still sounds questionable about that, Miss." Levi's expression softened, except the tiny twinkle of mischief in his eyes. "Oh, relax. I'm not mean enough to tell." Considering a final thought, he scratched his chin thoughtfully, sizing her up. "I can't speak for the rest of the male students here, but I wouldn't do this again in case some other guy tries to take advantage of a silly girl like you. Don't worry about me, though. I'm Levin Jude, but I prefer Levi."

I, I won't justify. The way I live my life 'Cause I'm the one livin' it... Talia spawned at the familiar gates of Virtua High. She took a deep breath, letting the smell of the computerized cherry blossoms fill her nose. It was so good to be back. She looked around and realized it was almost empty. That was odd, this place was usually crawling with people. Maybe her server had just gotten through quicker. With another glance around, Talia did notice two figures off a little ways, one was hanging from one of the trees, the other a few feet away from them on the ground, looking quite flustered.
With a shrug, Talia headed in the direction of the two. As she neared she recognized one of them, Levi. He was a junior just like her that she'd gotten to know a bit. After all, it would be hard for her not to know him, they were in art club together. She looked over at the other person, a young girl as it seemed, whom she'd never seen before. She was a pale shade of white but her cheeks were pink, an obvious blush. Talia smirked a little shaking her head as she approached "Already picking on some of the students Levi?" she asked, flicking his forehead before looking to the girl "I'm Talia, nice to meet you" she greeted with a welcoming smile. She assumed this was a first year student, as she was in the school uniform which is what first years usually spawned in. ...Feelin' it, tastin' it. Alex continued backing away as he spook, unable to find the strength to actually lift himself to his feet and flee. "flashing my what? no don't say that! I just wanted to take this skirt off and run back to my dorm so no one would think I was a freak! I shouldn't have even been wearing these panties" he blurted out, unintentionally making everything worse since without context he now just sounded like a streaker. He blushed again when the guy started sizing him up. Did this guys swing that way? Did he like guys and think that Alex was the same way because he ended up in a girl's uniform? He had never even thought about that possibility. But this guy was definitely a pervert, and probably dangerous to. When he mentioned "some other guy" trying to take advantage of him, Alex interpreted that as a threat, and that if this guy caught Alex like this again then..."gulp...that's not how I want to loose my innocence" he thought with a mental squeel. When he gave his name, most likely expecting his in return, Alex shook his head and tried to push himself back up to his feet, though hearing a girl's voice nearby sapped the strength right back out of his legs and he collapsed back down on the ground. He looked up at the girl, almost more mortified than when Levi had appeared. Being found out by a girl was so much worse, she would think he was a cross dressing freak, and then she would spread rumors about him, and then he'd never be able to recover. No illusion of manliness, no girlfriend, no nothing. In one last ditch effort he jumped up to his feet and turned to run. "please forget you ever saw me!" he shouted when she gave her name and started to flee. However he didn't get but two feet when he foot hooked on one of the tree roots causing him to trip and land flat on his face, slumped over and now flashing his panties to both of them. "oh well, the whole virtual school thing was a fun idea while it lasted, maybe I can find a way to move to another country, that way no one would know who I was. I could just start over fresh" he thought, keeping his face burried in the ground and his rump jutting up in the air.

Instead of de-stressing the situation like Talia had hoped to do, the girl seemed to get even more nervous and flustered now that she was present. She jumped to her feet and asked for her presence to be forgotten before attempting to run off. Talia wondered what she'd done to scare the girl off but her inner questioning didn't last long as the poor girl's foot caught in the root of one of the sakura trees and she face planted, now flashing both Talia and Levi. Talia's eyes widened in surprise, she could practically feel the embarrassment radiating from the girl.
Talia sidestepped politely in front of Levi's line of sight, trying to spare the girl more embarrassment. Before stepping forward and offering her a hand, "are you okay?" she asked wanting to help her. The girl seemed to be very jumpy around people, which wasn't very common at Virtua High as people were usually much more nonchalant about meeting others as it was virtual after all. But Talia wasn't one to judge, maybe it was just her personality, but this was a sort of social network, it might be a little tougher if she was avoiding social interaction. ...Feelin' it, tastin' it. His eyebrows rose higher and higher until they couldn't move any farther upwards as she tried to explain. Levi had given her the benefit of the doubt earlier, but a she dug herself deeper and deeper into the grave, he began to wonder...Oh God, I was actually right. She's a total perv... When she took the chance to pause, catching her breath, both Levi and the girl started to blush. Levi couldn't mask his embarrassment at having been correct, marking this girl as a streaker. If he'd been his father, no doubt he would have sternly given this girl a respectable lecture on public behaviour and the laws on public nudity. However, Levi was only 17, and didn't know what to say. His mouth just opened a little, and he stared at her in a mix of awe and discomfort.
The crunch of footsteps saved Levi from this awkward silence. Into the rows of cherry trees sauntered a dark haired and dark eyed girl, and Levi glanced at her in an upside down expression of wariness. After a moment, he began to recognise the familiar face, but it wasn't until she spoke that he could place who she was. "Tali---Ouch!" he exclaimed as she flicked him in the forehead. "I wasn't picking on anyone! Don't dishonor me and my family! I would never---" he bleated over her own introduction to the perverted freshman.
He cut himself off when the new girl jumped up and turned to bolt, asking them to forget that they had seen her. "Hey where are you---?" She didn't get two feet away when she snagged on a tree root and fell flat on her face. Levi stared at her panties, dead pan for a moment until Talia politely stepped in front of his line of sight, then squeezed his eyes shut, giggling uncontrollably. He grabbed for the branch he as on in failure, trying to sit back up, and eventually lost his balance and fell from the branch, landing back first on the ground. He wheezed breathless laughter and glanced over at Talia from the art club. "Oh come on," he pleaded, wiping a tear from his eye. "Tell me that was not the funniest face plant you have ever seen."

Alex festered in the awkward silence that lingered until the boy from before burst into laughter. Alex feebly rolled onto his back, tears starting to well up into his eyes as he had squandered his oppurtunity at a second chance. It wasn't fair, he hadn't even gotten a chance to try, he was set up to fail from the very beginning. When the girl offered her hand and asked if she was ok Alex shook his head, an over the top teary eyed expression on his face. "no I'm not ok at all! I've only been here for five minutes and already my life is ruined! I appear in the middle of public with these strange girl's clothes on, and I can't even take them off because of these weird panties underneath, and then I get assaulted by some weird guy who threatened to take advantage of me!" he wailed dramatically. "what did I do to deserve this? Just because of the way I look? It's not like I wanted to look like this" he bemoaned, all his dignity was gone anyways, so he was left to unabashedly wallow in self pity. "why can't things just go my way for once" he moaned

She had to admit it had been pretty funny, the perfect faceplant. But Talia's expression changed when she looked back at the girl her teary eyed expression, Talia almost drew her arm back, giving the girl a partially confused look. She hadn't thought falling down had been THAT embarrassing. But the girls description of the events before Talia had arrived made her reaction more sensable. But now Talia was even more confused, this time about the gender of this...person. She/he was flipping out about being in girl's clothes...She was either a hard core tomboy...or a boy.
Upon hearing about being assaulted Talia looked back at Levi "Threatened what now?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. Now that didn't sound like Levi, Levi joked a lot but he'd never been one to try or threaten to take advantage of anybody. The girl/guy was still complaining about their looks, having a bit of a pity party. Tailia sighed a little bit. Crouching down to meet the person's eye level. "Hey, it's not the end of the world you know. If you want better accommodating clothes then we can get you some. And I'm sure this idiot" She gestured back at Levi with a half smile "Didn't mean whatever he said. He can seem a bit creepy but I can vouch for him being a generally good guy" she hoped this would start to take the tension out of the situation. She really couldn't stand when people cried. "Now what's your name?" she asked. Maybe a name would help her get her bearings on the gender of this player ...Feelin' it, tastin' it. Slowly---very slowly---Levi calmed his fit to the best of his ability. He levered his way up, positioning himself so he could sit up and lean on both arms, but continued to chortle and rub an eye that wanted to cry in joy. "Aaahh, that was amazing," he sighed, grinning openly at the two girls.
The poor perverted lady didn't seem to think so, though. She was wailing like it was the end of the world---doomsday had come. Such an insignificant thing---and if she was so mortified at being seen, then why had she risked streaking in the first place? Levi listened to the contradicted ranting of the zealous madwoman, but what was out of place in that sentence? Even for a raving lunatic of a streaker, something just hadn't added up to him. Cleverly, he replayed it in his head. Life ruined... weird clothes...weird girls' clothes...Hold up... Unless she's a... He blinked as his thoughts trailed off. Ignoring the last offensive comment about himself being a rotten predator, and the repetition by Talia, he leaned to the side to look at the girl. "I'm sorry, but I don't see what's so bad about wearing girls' clothes when you're female, so I'm going to take a shot in the dark here and ask: are you a dude?" Levi asked bluntly, contradicting Talia's labelling as an idiot. Levi was in fact quite quick witted, a guy who certainly knew how to read between the lines and pick out the most logical, if a little less obvious, answer to his problems. He quickly raised his eyebrows at Talia, then smiled harmlessly at the new freshman. If he cut the skirt and panties out of the picture, she, or he, certainly looked androgynous enough to pass for both genders. Besides, although Talia hadn't been there, he could then imagine the newbie's motivation to be glancing under the skirt. "Hmph, that's no fun at all, then," he complained, having the experience of meeting his first streaker bombed; he crossed his arms and stared at the ground.
Suddenly, he jerked his head back up, squarely glanced at both of them with a deadpan look on his face. "And don't assume I was taking advantage of anyone, alright. I was just having a good time at your expence ma'am, err...sir?" He cocked his head to the side, forcing a confused smile. "Be-besides, if I was going to flirt with anyone, it'd be someone much prettier, like Talia here..." He locked eyes with Talia for a fleeting second, blushed and looked back at the kid on the ground with a glare that said it was his or her own fault that he had said something dumb.

Alex stopped his tears when the girl crouched down infront of him.Wiping his eyes he nodded feebly, honestly feeling even more embarrassed that he was now being soothed and talked down to like a child who had lost their balloon, but given the circumstanced he couldn't really complain. After all these people could ruin his life if he really wanted to, and it seemed the girl atleast wanted to help instead. "really? I-I mean thanks. I don't know what I'd do if anyone else saw me like this" he muttered. When she mentioned Levi wasn't a bad guy Alex simply glared up at him, this guy was an a*****e, a peeping tom, and a potential rapist. Not something Alex would call a "generally good guy" unless she was giving him a pretty damn good amount of leeway. When she asked his name he nodded and wiped his eyes again. "Alex...Alex Rose" he said, his name ofcourse being just as androgynous as his looks, and the last name 'Rose' only made it seem more feminine. When Levi suddenly asked if he was a dude Alex recoiled in shock and stared up at him in amazement. "wait? You've been thinking I was a girl this WHOLE time?" he asked in disbelief. Alex had assumed when Levi caught him pulling down his skirt that he had figured that he was a crossdresser, the pervert remarks refering to the fact he was running around dressed like a girl. Did he really think he was just a girl who was going to go streaking this whole time or something? "b-but...you saw my...." once again he found himself plunged into despair. Levin had seen him in his underwear twice, but hadn't managed to piece together that he was a guy from the obvious "male evidence". "is it...is it really that small that he didn't even notice the bulge in the panties?" he thought, referring to his manhood, which should have been visible enough even through underwear. Alex found himself crawling up into a ball and rocking back and forth. "I really am a pathetic excuse for a man after all....he didn't even notice it....he saw my panties twice and didn't even see a thing....it might as well not be there" he muttered to himself, this ordeal a massive blow to what little of his ego remained. He didn't even hear the rest of what Levi said, to lost in his own little world again. Levi may not have a drop of class, but when his name didn't solve anything, this sure as hell did. The reaction proved his implausible theory. He grinned to himself, satisfied with the result of his leap of faith.
The only problem left now was Alex's pride. The moment he started to stutter about Levi having missed his package, Levi winced in pity. That look of distress was mortifying beyond belief. He went so far as to curl into a ball, muttering quite clearly in front of Talia. Levi quickly stood up and marched over, this time being the one to place himself between Alex and Talia. He plopped down, cross legged and comfortable in front of the kid.
Now, now, use your words carefully like dad this time."Come on Alex, the only reason I didn't notice your...lump," he said, for the delicate ears of Talia who was not too far to miss this conversation, "was because I was looking down from a tree at you, and more at your back as well. You can't expect me to see it that easily from those angles and time periods, unless you're half black. The second time was just your butt, and Talia stepped in front. Talia's as blind as a bat when it comes to these things anyway, she's more of a face person." He scratched his head anxiously, hoping he was saying this all correctly. "So, did the computer just make a mistake or something? I could talk to an admin about it for you. Hey, anything to get to chat with that lovely devil Moira." He winked and chuckled to Alex, crossing his fingers against more misunderstandings.

But she guessed it was good, the name Alex Rose, didn't really help with the gender confusion. Levi then tried to explain himself as not trying to take advantage of Alex, but his next words surprised Talia. In his attempt to defend himself he complimented her, calling her pretty. They locked eyes for a moment before Levi looked away, was that a blush she saw on his face? Talia's own cheeks reddened if only for a moment before her attention was brought back to Alex.
Alex was, if possible, in a sorrier state than before. He was just now realizing that the two had mistaken him for a girl he curled up into a ball and started rocking, talking about Levi not noticing 'it', obviously talking about his manhood. Talia's eyes widened a bit as the situation took another awkward turn, she really wasn't sure what she could say to this boy to try to calm him down. But luckily, she didn't have to.
Levi stepped up this time, positioning himself between her and Alex. He explained the angles that he was at and how he couldn't have noticed, before moving to how Talia didn't notice which she almost laughed.
