Terms of Service
As a member of this guild you must adhere to the Terms of Service as laid forth by our parent and provider, Gaia Online itself. If I receive reports of ToS violations I am not averse to punitive action. I will be adding in a new method of tracking violations shortly which will be followed by the crew and myself with possible changes in our subforums.
Also, should you go for an undisclosed period of time without another report, I will drop your infraction count. I feel that people can redeem themselves, and sometimes make mistakes that they shouldn't always have to pay for. This is another reason why I will keep a record, for your sake.

Rules and Guidelines
Simple requests in the R&G, and it's not a long read at all. We made this guild because sometimes you really can't have a story without people going against these simple requests. Keep on topic, don't spam, it's so easy to follow. . .

I don't take it too lightly when people enter a thread and bump it when it's active. I've been in multiple threads where pretty much an entire page can be posted while one person writes a decent comment, and on every page there's the same person posting "*BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP*" which gets pretty friggin' irritating. I will warn people who do this via PM. If you disregard the warnings, I will count that as a ToS infraction and list you as a spammer. For the sake of your fellow members, and this guild, please remain literate, creative, and intelligent. It's why we invited you yeah? Besides, there's a thread for bumping in the Outlander's Respite.

Mission Statement
Shadows of Semora is here so that you lucky literates will have a place to roleplay with others of your calibre. You might find a few members above or beneath your own standards but the three of us who created this guild aren't going to allow just anyone. Please don't feel as if you're outclassed or above your co-writers. We're all here for one purpose, to make magic happen!
For those of you who aren't into the RP scene we do offer The Athenaeum. It exists specifically for solo writers to hone or show off their skills.

-=Shadow-Savant=- Hello, I am Shadow-Savant.  On some forums and sites I am known as Shadow-Servant, my most used name. Others I am Monitor-Monkey, as I once had 13 monkey plushies on my monitor, and I'm a computer nerd. I tend to 'hang around' monitors. wink ^ That little me will be present to tell you when it's me talking in a post where more than one member of the crew have their information, such as the Crew Members and Subforums posts in this thread. If any of the other crew or my vice-captains want a mini-them, I'll make it. It's a quick and easy process, and I have unlimited bandwidth and storage on Picture Village. 3nodding I'm 24 and an aspiring writer but I never graduated from school. My grammar sometimes suffers run-on sentences and usage errors so I ask you to bear with it as I continue to work on improving myself. sweatdrop I am now attending college but none of my classes are designed to improve my writing skills. All three of them are management oriented. You can find some of my poorly structured works on my deviantART page, including my novel, though I urge you to remember that those are either WIP or not intended to be perfect. I am currently editing the novel, but the edited version will not appear online. If you wish to read the version which will likely change during the editing process, feel free. It is Wrath of Archangels and my featured journal has a link to one devoted entirely to that story. -Availability-I'm only able to access the internet at work, and I only work Wed-Sun. I'll write my schedule below so you can tell whether or not I'm at work when writing. I go by Pacific time. Wed: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM Thu: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM Fri: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM I will add to this as I think of things.

mrgreen Huwwo, lesser mammals! Mikazuki Tari here, TO TAKE OVER GAIA!!!! 3nodding 'Tis my mission in life to take over something... and to become a published manga-ka. The second seems more likely than the first at this point...
sweatdrop Due to my almost-complete lack of any computer knowledge, I don't have any of my art up on the internet. Unless Kaiser put up that pic I did of his character... Anywho, despite this, ALL PHEAR MY CREATIVE SKILLZ!
I love to roleplay (duh), especially fantasy, time period being irrelevant. But I'll roleplay almost anything else, provided it's kept clean.
And... well, I love animals, manga, the color red, wearing wierd clothes, and my five little brothers and sisters. stressed Even though they just drive me CRAZY sometimes...
Availability:
gonk Due to an edict by the Almighty Parental Units, I can only roleplay twice a week. Also due to the APUs, my computer has a timer on it, which shuts the thing off when my time runs out. Thus, I'll be on for a few hours twice a week, usually on or around the weekend. Also, I sometimes come on at other times just to check my mail and non-roleplaying topics.
Thankfully, this is only while I'm with my mom. While with my dad, I get in several hours of roleplaying basically every day. Though there are limits to his patience...

-=Crew Members=- Spence-kun joined the ranks of the crew on March 10, to watch over and maintain her own subforum which she paid for entirely by herself. This little minx on the right will determine when she is speaking in a multi-crew post. Please welcome MrJimmy, this is his mini-self. He is here initially to run our new writing advice/help section though I know I hope to see him branch out and develop his own subforum as well. Welcome dude. {Edit: Update} Sadly, MrJimmy will not be of assistance to us for some time. His main account was stolen and he has left Gaia to do some soul-searching for an undetermined length of time. He got his main account back, but won't do anything with it until he returns.
